As Primis was going deeper into the forest, Emilia and Rem who were following behind remained silent. Emilia was still shocked about what she witnessed while Rem was looking at Primis' back with reverence in her eyes.

Primis: Rem.

Rem: Y-Yes!

Primis: Roswaal told me that since you both sisters are demon, you can activate your Oni bloodline which will further increase your physical strength.

Rem: Um. That's true. However, since me and my sister are twins and born with a single horn which is even smaller than average demon's, our power in our Oni state is lower than our kin.

Primis: That's not the issue. I just want to confirm something.

Rem: What is it?

Primis: .........

Primis didn't speak right away. He waited for a few more seconds before opening his mouth.

Primis: Do you remain sane while using your Oni power?

Rem: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rem's body shivered as she remained standing on her tracks. Emilia also turned her head towards Rem and asked in a worried tone.

Emilia: Rem.

Rem: I.........!................

Primis: I guess you are not.

Rem: .........

Primis: Alright, another question. When do you use your Oni power? Is it when you are angry and want to make your enemies pay the price for hurting you?

Rem: Yes. I only use my Oni power when I am angry.

Primis: I see. Then I think I have a solution to your problem, Rem.

Emilia: Really?

Primis: Yes. While in Oni state, Rem became like a berserk who wants to destroy everything in her way even if she is also destroyed in the process.

Emilia: What?

Rem: Um.

Primis: Rem, from now on, whenever you are about to enter the Oni state, instead of thinking of destroying everything, think about something else. And that is Survive.

It was a large one meter in length wolf-like creature with brown and black hide, protruding razor-sharp fangs, a set of spikes jutting out of their backs, red eyes, and a single spike like horn on its snouts.

Rem: Wolgarm.

The Demon beast or Wolgarm jumped a Primis. Though before it could reach him, Morning-star came and hit its head, hence, destroying it.

BANG!!!!

BURST!!!!

SPLURT!!!!!!!!!

SPLAT!!!!

The corpse of Wolgarm fell on the ground in front of Primis. Though he didn't even glance at it and as his attention was on the new incoming pack.

Primis: I will handle the one in front. While you both handle the one behind.

Emilia: It's dangerous you fight these many on your own.

[*sigh* This girl. Even though she knows that you are stronger than Roswaal, she is still worried about you. She really is too kind.]

Primis: If you think it's dangerous then get rid of the Demon Beasts on your side fast. Then come to give me the hand.

Emilia: .........…Ok.

Rem: Um.

Nodded Rem before pulling back the Morning-star she used to kill the first Wolgram. Next, Both Emilia and Rem started killing the Demon Beasts on their end as Primis moved to clear his side.

SWOOSH!!!

He moved fast, and his Gun-Blade cut one of the Wolgarms in two, from its open mouth to its tail.

SHIN!!!

SPLURT!!!

Other Wolgarm who were charging towards Primis' previous location stopped when they saw him in the middle of their group and jumped at him. In return, Primis moved his body and dodged all of them with just a breadth of a hair. While dodging he also didn't forget to move the Gun-Blade.

SLASH!!!

SWOOSH!!!

SLASH!!!

By the time he was finished dodging, all those Wolgarm were on the ground with none of their bodies intact. The ground was completely covered in the blood, fluid, skins, organs, and bones of these Demon Beasts.

At this time, other Wolgarm who were still watching from behind rushed towards him. As if the death of their kinds didn't matter to them.

Primis moved again. Faster this time. He appeared in front of a Wolgram, turned his body to full 360 degrees before using the momentum behind it and severed its neck.

SHIN!!!

THUCH!!!

As the severed head the Wolgram rose high in the sky, he used his free left hand to grab the head of one of Wolgram to the left and threw it towards Wolgram on the right.

FWOOSH!!!

BAM!!!

Wolgram 10: Awu!!!

Wolgram 9: Grr!!!!

As if that was not enough, before the force behind the throw could threw them away, he appeared on the other side and kicked them like a football towards the pack at the side.

BAM!!!

FWOOSH!!!

BANG!!!

Just like how the pins fell when a bowling ball hit them in the game of Tenpins, Wolgrams were also thrown back.

SWOOSH!!!!

Appearing in the center again, Primis pointed his Gun-Blade in the middle and used "Shot".

CLICK!!!!

BOOM!!!!!!!!!

A Zenith explosion occurred in the middle and all those Wolgrams were torn to pieces as their organs and other bodily stuff fell like rain.

Ignoring this, Primis attacked another Wolgram.

SLASH!!!

Killing it, he moved towards the next one.

SLASH!!

Then next.

SHIN!!!

and next.

THUCH!!!

And next.

…

Once he killed the last one, he stopped. Now, the bodies of Wolgrams were lying all around him. Primis was standing in the middle with let alone a single scratch, there was not a single drop of blood of Wolgram on his body.

Turning, he saw Emilia and Rem looking at him with fear in their eyes. One should know that by the time they cleared 10% of Wolgrams on their side, Primis had not only cleared his own side but also given them at hand by clearing the remaining 90%.

Without giving much thought to their gaze, he spoke.

Primis: Let's go.

Then Primis turned and continued walking deeper in the forest. Emilia and Rem snapped out of their thoughts and hurriedly followed behind.

[Primis.]

'Primis: I know.'

Saying this, Primis glanced back at them. Rem had calmed down by now while Emilia face was completely pale. It was not because of fear of Primis but because of the blood and the inwards of Wolgram all around. She was barely controlling herself from vomiting on the spot.

[Looks like it was too much for me.'

'Primis: Um.'

As they were going deeper in the forest, suddenly, Primis narrowed his eyes.

Rem: I smelled something in that direction.

Then they all went towards the direction Rem pointed. As they were getting closer, they heard the gnawing sound of more than one Demon Beasts.

Emilia: This sound. Don't tell m----

Primis: Shh. Keep quiet.

Gesturing Emilia to keep quiet, they crouched down and started walking through the bushes. The sound kept on getting louder and louder until they saw the Demon Beasts some distance away. Suddenly Primis turned and pulled Emilia in his embrace.

Emilia: R-Rigla?

Primis: Don't look.

Realizing that something very bad was in front, Emilia didn't ask further and just buried her head in his chest. Even though Primis was hugging Emilia, his attention was on the scene in front. Rem also narrowed her eyes witnessing what was happening in front.

Six Wolgrams were ripping apart the body of a child as her toy was near her drenched in blood. It was truly a very gruesome scene.

In case Emilia would have seen this then she would not only had started vomiting but it would also had become a trauma for her. After all, even though she looked strong on the surface, in truth, she was emotionally weak. Very weak, to be more precise. The reason was again because of the look of contempt people gave her because of her appearance wherever she goes.

Even though it's difficult for Emilia to see this, Primis and Rem remained indifferent towards it. Once Primis gave Rem the signal from his eyes, she nodded and attacked them.

FWOOSH!!!

BANG!!!

A minute later, Rem got rid of all those Wolgrams. Confirming this, Primis and Emilia also came out of the bushes. Rem killed those Demon Beasts in such a way that their bodies and blood were scattered on all the things around making it difficult to distinguish which was the child's body parts and blood. Because of that it was difficult for Emilia to realize that a kid died here.

Primis: Let's keep moving while following the blood trail. It will give us a better chance to find where they took the children.

Rem: Um.

As they continued moving again, Emilia, who was walking on his right asked.

Emilia: R-Rigla.

Primis: Hmm?

Emilia: I saw a c-child's toy there.

Primis: ......

Emilia: I-Is the reason you d-didn't let me see it was because those Demon Beasts were d-devouring that c-child.

Primis: .........…Yes.

Replied Primis since he felt was no point in hiding after the deed was done. In the first place, hearing and witnessing it were two different things.

Emilia: I-I see.

Said Emilia as she lowered her head. Slowly she grabbed Primis hand and squeezed it tightly as if trying to get courage.

In return, Primis just sighed and squeezed her soft hand in return.

In the way, they didn't see any more bodies. This reassured Emilia somewhat. They also saw something unusual thoigh. There were many trees that had fallen on the ground. Even though Wolgrams were strong, they will still need a pack to break one tree let alone these many. This clearly indicated that was something huge who was responsible for this.

Finally, they reached an open area and saw all the children lying on the ground completely unconscious.

Emilia: The Children!!!

Emilia hurriedly let go of Primis hand and ran towards them. Primis and Rem looked around, but they didn't see any Demon Beasts.

As they reached Emilia, from the corner of his eyes, Primis saw something unexpected. It made him stop on his tracks.

Primis: Rem, keep Emilia safe!!!

Rem: Wha----

Before Rem could say anything, Primis rushed in a certain direction. He kept on changing his direction as if he was following something. In the way, many Wolgrams charged towards him, but he just cleaved them casually. Currently, these Demon Beasts were nothing more than fodder who were trying to delay him.

Primis was using "Dash" non-stop since he didn't wish to let that thing run away. As he zipped through trees again and again, even more Wolfgram attacked him. But he just slashed through them like before.

Five Minutes Later.

Primis stopped and found himself in very depth of the forest. The trees were so dense that barely a moonlight was passing through it. Primis kept on looking around as the atmosphere became very eerily.

Primis: Looks like you decided to stop running. Good call. Because no matter where you have gone, I won't have stopped the pursuit even for a second.

Still there was no reply. Primis didn't mind anyway.

Primis: Why don't you show yourself?

FWOOSH!!!!!!!

As if answering him, a purple-energy covered claw came out of shadows and attacked him. In return, Primis also used his Gun-Blade to meet it head-on.

BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An explosion occurred as a shockwave from their clash travelled to far distance. And the result of their clash was unexpected.

FWOOSH!!!!!!!!!!

Primis was thrown not a few steps but few meters away while breaking the trees on the way. In the end, he had to embed his Gun-Blade into the ground to get rid of the remaining force.

Primis: *cough* *cough* I guess with your strength it made sense why they only send you. *cough* *cough*

As he was coughing, the shadow rose and took shape.

It was a black, shadow-like creature. It had a small head with a white fog-like ghostly plume billowing from its head covering one of its bright blue eyes, with the portion on its face resembling hair. It also had a red spiky growth around its neck. It had skinny arms and long black tatters hanging from its shoulders. It also had black, claw-like hands. It had the slight appearance of an hourglass figure and appeared to be wearing an old, ripped cloak.

Getting up, Primis cracked his neck to the side and spoke.

CRACK!!!

CRACK!!!

Primis: Well, this will make me turned you my pet even more........................…...Darkrai.
