Chapter – 94 (Aftermath (Part-2))

Riveria and Lefiya stopped their talk decided to also check the body of "Phryne Jami". They hurriedly arrived the location. There are already many Adventurers who have arrived the location. They have made the circle around the body of "Phryne Jamil". When they say Riveria and Lefiya, they hurriedly part ways and make the path for them. Riveria and Lefiya nodded at them and approached the body.

They frowned when they saw the body. Phryne Jamil eyes are still wide open even after death. Riveria crouched down and closed her eyes. She then started to check the body. Since body of "Phryne Jamil" is lying on her stomach, they can't see the wounds clearly. So, they decided to turn her body.

After they turned the body, a loud noise happens when the huge body of "Phryne Jamil" touched the ground. But everyone ignores it because there is something else in front of them, which made them speechless. On the front of the "Phryne Jamil" body there is a "4" made of slashes.

Riveria: Three Slashes. No resistance at all.

Lefiya: No resistance at all?

Riveria: Yes. No Resistance. It appears that the sword cut through "Phryne Jamil" body like a hot knife through.

Lefiya: A-Are you sure? Even though Phryne Jamil don't have high Agility and Magic, her strength and endurance are all top-notch. And if we add her healing ability then even other Level 5 and Level 6 adventurers will have hard time penetrating her defense.

Riveria checked Phryne Jamil body some more to see if there are any more clues. Before they turned her body, they saw a tear of cloth on her back. But since the wound on her back is already healed, they decided to ignore it. Seeing no other clue on her body, Riveria stands and nodded at Lefiya.

Riveria: Yes, I am sure.

Everyone around them gasped when they heard this. Even though they have heard about how easily "The Black Swordsman" killed Phryne Jamil. Hearing and seeing the proof in front is two different matters.

Riveria: With this, I can conclude that even Level 6 Adventurers can be easily killed by his hands even if they have max stats in their strength and Endurance. Let alone Magicians and Mages whom bodies are far weaker.

Riveria has serious expression on her face as she concluded her investigation. Everyone is astonished when they heard this. Lefiya clenched her staff tightly and spoke.

Lefiya: This means even Uncle Gareth who have the strongest physical attack power and defense in our Loki Familia also won't survive if he will face "The Black Swordsman".

Riveria: ...…I am afraid so.

SILENCE

This information is too much for anyone to take. Gareth Landrock has the strongest Physical strength and endurance in whole Loki Familia. He always max-out his Strength and Endurance before he leveled up. That's why he is one of three leaders of Loki Familia with the alias "Elgarm". And if even he can't take a single hit from "The Black Swordsman" then its impossible for others too.

Lefiya: T-Then, we need to hurriedly inform this to others.

Riveria: I agree. But first let's give a proper burial to "Phryne Jamil". Can I ask this from you all?

Onlooker 1: Yes, Nine Hell (Riveria Ljos Alf). We will give a proper burial to "Phryne Jamil". Right, everyone?

All Onlookers: RIGHT.

Onlooker 1: So, leave this to us.

Riveria: *nod* Then we are leaving. We will see if we could find more clues.

After nodding her head one last time, Riveria and Lefiya left. Once they left, all onlookers turn their attention back to the body "Phryne Jamil". Even though they said they will give her a proper burial but in truth, none of them is willing. They knew what kind of woman "Phryne Jamil" was. She had no loyalty for her Goddess at all. She is arrogant and is hated by all other members of the Ishtar Familia. She catches the men who got her attention and rape them till she is satisfied or they die.

But the thing which they felt the most disgusted about "Phryne Jamil" is how she ran away and left other members of her Familia behind when she realized that she is not "The Black Swordsman" match. She abandoned the very Familia which made her this strong. She is also the reason why other members of Familia lost their will to fight in the end and decided to just accept their fate.

They only agreed because Nine Hell (Riveria Ljos Alf) asked them too. Since Riveria right now is worried about other things, she didn't pay attention to these Adventurers. If she knew their thoughts than she could only take a deep sigh on this matter. It's not that rare for an Adventurer to ran away when their Familia was in danger. She has heard of this many times. So, she was not that shocked when she heard that "Phryne Jamil" has abandoned her Familia so that she can survive.

Onlooker 1: *sigh* Let's give her a proper.

Onlooker 2: I don't want to but...… *sigh* whatever.

Onlooker 3: No one want to. But since we told Nine Hell (Riveria Ljos Alf) that we will do it then let's just.

Onlooker 4: Yes, Yes *sigh*

In the end, they all decided to do it even when they don't want to. But everyone has disdain and disgusted look on their face which they were trying hard to hide. While they were doing this, Riveria and Lefiya are trying to find more clues as well as other members so that they can notify and warn them about what they found.

Riveria: Let's just hope that none of our member encounter "The Black Swordman". Even if they did, let's hope they won't confront him.

Lefiya: Let's hope so. By the way, Lefiya what were you saying back then.

Riveria: Back then?

Lefiya: Yes. When you say "The most shocking thing about "The Black Swordsman" is that...…" but stopped when we heard the Adventurers.

Riveria: Oh. That.

Lefiya: Yes. What was it?

Riveira took a deep breath recalling what she saw before responding.

Riveria: As I told before, I saw the full battle between "The Black Swordsman" and Ais. That time at first, he overpowers Ais with his higher Stats. But later...…...

Lefiya: Later...….

Riveria: Later Ais started to use her magic. As Ais keeps on increasing her power, he keeps on decreasing his.

Lefiya: Decreasing? You mean Increasing, right?

Riveria: No. I mean decreasing. But Ais still lost.

Lefiya: .......

Riveria: The most shocking thing is that during the whole battel he didn't use any magic but defeated Ais with just his Swordsmanship.

Lefiya: With just his Swordsmanship.......

Riveria look at Lefiya who became silent. She didn't interrupt her and just keeps on waking. After some time, Lefiya came out of her thoughts.

Lefiya: If someone else have told me that then I won't have believed it.

Riveria: Even I don't have believed it if I had not seen this with my own eyes.

Lefiya nodded and they continued their investigation. In between they met with many Adventurers who were also looking for any clue. But they still failed to meet the other members of their Familia during the whole journey. And soon they reach the center of Entertainment District where the tower of Ishtar Familia once stood.

They saw that many Adventurers are present there. But none of them are saying and talking with each other. They are just staying at their spot looking in front like a statue. Riveria frown and approached them to see what is going. But when she saw the scene in front, she covered her mouth with her hand.

Riveria: Oh. My. Gosh.

The scene is front of her is a full-display of Massacre. Many bodies of Amazoness are lying in the pool of blood. Some are cut in two and some are headless. It is a full demonstration of ruthlessness. Many Adventurers are vomiting at the corner after seeing this. Even Lefiya is having hard time stopping herself from vomiting. Riveria expressions are also grave.

Finn: Riveria.

Riveria: Finn.

Finn calls out to Riveria when he noticed her. He and Tsubaki has already arrived scene a long time ago. Both Finn and Riveria nodded at each other and turn their attention to the scene in front. Both of them have grave expression on their face. Even they are not feeling good after seeing this. Even though everyone presents here have seen the scene of Monsters being massacred like this but seeing the massacred of other Humans are a completely different thing.

Killing another Human life is a lot difficult than killing a monster. In truth, almost everyone from Loki Familia have killed other humans before during the rise of Evilus but they still don't feel good killing other humans. At this time, other members of Loki Familia also joined them. And all of them have grave expression on their face.

But the expressions of Tiona and Tione are somewhat different. Both are angry and they are clenching their fist tightly. Even though they don't have much interaction with Ishtar Familia but still all of its members are Amazoness like both of them. So, its still difficult for them to accept this. Finn and Riveria of course notice this. But before Finn could say anything, Riveria speak first.

Riveria: Don't let your emotions Get the best of you. Otherwise, you will die before you even realize it.

Tiona: I-I... *sigh*

Tione & Tiona: We're sorry.

Both Tiona and Tiona apologized together. They know that it was the fault of Ishtar Familia for provoking "The Black Swordsman" but its still difficult for them to swallow it. Riveria nodded when she saw that both Tione and Tiona have calm down. But Finn, Gareth and Tsubaki who was with Finn, all have serious on their face when they heard this. They find out the hidden meaning behind Riveria words.

Finn: Did you find anything?

Riveria nodded confirming Finn speculation. Now even Tiona, Tione and Bete has serious expression. They were also trying to find anything related to "The Black Swordsman" but failed. They should be happy that Riveria find something about it but they couldn't when they saw serious expression on both Riveria and Lefiya face.

Tsubaki: What did you find?

Riveria: We found the body of "Phryne Jamil".

Gareth: *nod* And...

Lefiya: S-She died by just three slashes.

Finn: Three?

Riveria: Yes. And there was no resistance at all. So, we concluded that....

Riveria stopped here and look at Gareth. When everyone saw this action, they started to wonder why Riveria is looking at him. But Riveria didn't make them wait and continued.

Riveria: If Gareth face "The Black Swordsman" then even with his high Endurance, he will still die easily by his hands.

Everyone opened their eyes wide because they knew the strength of the Elgarm(Gareth Landrock). He has the strongest Physical attack power and Endurance in the entire Orario if you will exclude King (Ottar). If even Gareth is no match against "The Black Swordsman" with his highest defense then what about them. Now even Tiona and Tione understand the meaning behind Riveria words before.

If even they are no match against Gareth, then they should forget about facing "The Black Swordsman". Because if they did then it will be nothing more than a suicide. Seeing that Tiona and Tione have let go of their anger both Finn and Riveria took a sigh of relief inward. They are already having difficultly to find a way of helping Ais. If Tiona and Tione will come into mix then things will become more difficult. Just when they were thinking of their next course of action, someone between the group of onlookers shouted.

Onlooker 5: Does that mean "The Black Swordman" will also kill us.
