Chapter – 93 (Aftermath (Part-1))

As Primis was talking with Ishtar when her body started to crack, the people outside the Entertainment were thinking whether to remain here or leave. When third Nuke Explosion occur it nearly strip away their desire to remain here.

Finn is looking at the sun that has rose a few minutes ago and thinking about his next course of action. They have here for at least 10 hours. They directly came here when they have returned from their expenditure in dungeon last night. So, some of the members need rest.

Finn: Any progress, Riveria.

Riveria is crouching down at the edge of the barrier that is covering the entire Entertainment District to find a way to crack it. Before they have even asked some Mages who can use earth magic to see whether they can enter the Entertainment District from underground but they failed. They find out that this barrier is covering the entire Entertainment District in a sphere. So, there is no way to enter it either by air or by underground.

Riveria: No progress at all, Finn.

Riveria shakes her head and stands up. She has a frown on her forehead as she studying this barrier for past few hours with no breakthrough. Since Riveria was born in Alf's Royal Forest and as a member of the High Elf Family, Riveria has access to all the books in the Alf's Royal Forest. And she has read almost all of them and hence she not only has knowledge to many different languages and magics but also, she has some of the knowledge of God's language.

But even with all this knowledge she fails to crack anything from this barrier. Like it's all blank. Riveria doesn't know that this barrier is made by "The Infinite Dragon God, Ophis" who has become "4th Level Existence". Let alone Riveria even if Gods who have all the knowledge of the world came here, even they will fail to find any clue.

???: No luck, I guess. Huh.

Finn and Riveria turn their attention towards the owner of voice. The owner is a Half-Dwarf. She has brown skin, long black hair, red eyes, and wears an eyepatch over her left eye, similar to her Hephaestus. However, her eyepatch covers the opposite eye. She has a well-endowed chest which she keeps in a sarashi, and wears a red hakama and sandals.

She is the is the captain of the Hephaestus Familia as well as a master smith. Her name is Tsubaki Collbrande. Tsubaki came here as a representative of Hephaestus Familia. She also came here when the news about how entire Entertainment District is covered in barrier and no one can enter it spread. She also heard from the people which were once inside the Entertainment District before they were kicked out, about the deeds of "The Black Swordsman". So, she also wary of him.

If "The Black Swordsman" can even kill Level 5 Adventurer like Phryne Jamil like she was nothing then even she is not his match. But she calms down when she heard that the reason "The Black Swordsman" destroy the Ishtar Familia is because they hurt someone dear to him. This shows that he won't attack others on spot.

Finn: No.

Tsubaki: Looks like we can only wait then. By the way, what happen to the little girl.

Finn: ...

Riveria: ....

Both Finn and Riveria know that Tsubaki is talking about Ais. She has met Ais before she left in big stride. They both know what type of person Tsubaki is. Even though she does not want to get involved in the affairs of others unless she knows them, Tsubaki still show some concerns for others.

When Ais and Tsubaki first met, Tsubaki refused to create a weapon for Ais upon noticing her self-destructive tendencies. However, she didn't try to stop her and try to improve her attitude. Similarly, she didn't care about the impact of what she told Ais had back then. As a result, she became overjoyed by Ais noticeable improvement in comparison to her younger self. But now when she met Ais, she can tell that Ais is returning to her old self slowly and slowly. Even though it was just at starting Phase but if Ais is not stopped at the beginning, then it will a lot difficult later.

Finn and Riveria also understand this but it's also difficult for them too. If she was still that weak little girl then it would have been easy for them to stop her. But now even they are having problem stopping her. Current Ais is even more stubborn than before. That's why Loki is thinking of finding a way to stop Ais before her condition reach critical. But of course, even though Loki and Hephaestus Familia are close they didn't need to share everything with each other.

Finn: It's nothing. It's just that in previous expenditure Ais keeps on fighting non-stop without rest. So, when we return, she wants to rest but we have to come here to check the situation. That's why she was tired and become slightly irritated when we have standing here without any result.

Tsubaki: I see. Then I feel bad for the little girl.

BOOM!!!!!!

Just when Tsubaki was done talking another explosion occur in Entertainment District. All of them become pale whenever they saw such explosion. But at least this explosion is not as big as the previous three.

SHINE!!!!

The moment explosion disappears they all saw a pillar of light that disappeared into sky. Crowd become confused when they saw this pillar of light but not everyone is like them. Finn, Riveria, Tsubaki and all other members of Loki Familia have grave expression on their face. They understand that this pillar of light means another God has been sent back to heaven. They have heard about this from Lady Loki when they return from their expenditure that the God of wine, Soma has been returned back to heaven last night. And now another God has returned to Heaven. Just what is going on.

There is only one God in Entertain District and that is the leader of Ishtar Familia. Goddess of Beauty, Ishtar. And there is only one more person in Entertainment District except Ishtar. That person is the only one who can be responsible of sending Ishtar back to heaven. "The Black Swordsman". This clearly confirms that "The Black Swordsman" has killed a Goddess. Mortal killing a God is an offense against all Gods and Goddesses. God community won't take this lying down. Currently, "The Black Swordsman" has become the enemy of all Gods.

Finn: Gods won't take this lying down.

Riveria: If I remember correctly then Denatus happening Two-Months from now on.

Tsubaki: I am sure that "The Black Swordsman" will be the hot topic.

Finn & Riveria: Agreed.

If Primis will know that the Denatus will be happening when he will wake up, then of course he won't hesitate to make his appearance there. Since he has already made enemies out of all the Gods, he won't mind giving them a slap at their face by appearing in Denatus. After all, Denatus is a place where only Gods can meet. Having a mortal there will really be a slap to every Gods face. Just then...

CRACK!!!

SHATTER!!!

The barrier surrounding the entire Entertainment District Shattered. Everyone looks with their eyes wide when they saw this scene. All those who were near the barrier try to see whether they can enter the place where barrier was and found out they can now. A person from the crowd shouted.

Crowd 1: BARRIER IS DOWN. WE CAN ENTER NOW.

OH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone shouted once it was confirmed. Some of them even started to rush into Entertainment District to see what is the situation inside. Once these people rushed other also followed. Finn, Riveria and Tsubaki look at each other and nodded. Then they return back to where their other members of Famillia are waiting and join them.

Finn: Let's go and be on guard.

Loki Familia: YES!!!

Once Loki Familia and Hephaestus Familia enter the Entertainment District, they become shocked by the spectator in front. The entire Entertainment District is turned upside down. There is debris everywhere with not a single building staying intact. They even say three deep giant craters where the three-nuke explosion happen. Everyone face turned pale when they saw how deep the crater is, since they can't see its end.

Finn: Everyone let's split up and see what we can find.

Loki Familia: Yes!!!

Finn: One more thing. If any of you met with "The Black Swordsman" by chance, do not confront him. No matter what and try to contact others. Now, Let's go.

Loki Familia: *nod*

Tsubaki: The same is for our Hephaestus Familia. Do not confront "The Black Swordsman". Understood?

Hephaestus Familia: Understood!!!

Tsubaki: Good, Let's go.

Loki and Hephaestus Familia thus split in teams of two to see what they can find. The teams are Tiona and Tione; Bete and Gareth; Riveria and Lefiya and the last team was between the captain of Loki and Hephaestus Familia i.e., Finn and Tsubaki.

They search all building to see if they could find some civilians. But it looks like there really is not any civilian present when those explosions took place. Finn and other took a sigh of relief when they find out that there was no civilian casualty. From the information they received it appears that this barrier is made by "The Black Swordsman" so that no one from the Ishtar Familia can leave. This sends a chill down everyone spine realizing that "The Black Swordsman" really have full attention of eliminating the Ishtar Familia without leaving any exception.

They also started to wonder what would happen if "The Black Swordsman" has put this barrie around their Familia. If even the all-knowing Riveria can't crack this barrier then they would be nothing more than pig in cage ready to slaughtered. They all gulped unconsciously. At this time, Riveria and Lefiya are walking together to find any clue. Riveria saw that Lefiya mood is all time down right now. So, she decided to talk with her.

Riveria: Worried about Ais.

Lefiya: H-Huh. No. No. I am n-no...…...*sigh* Yes.

Lefiya become embarrassed first when Riveria hits the bulls-eye. So, she tried to deny it but then she admits it. Everyone knows that Lefiya admires Ais a lot except for Ais herself. But whenever Lefiya is in Ais's presence she always become shy to say anything.

Riveria: Don't worry even though Ais emotional state is becoming unstable it is only at the Starting Phase. We will soon find a way to solve it.

Lefiya: Mn. Thanks, Riveria.

Riveria smiled when she saw that Lefiya as calm down a little. Lefiya took a deep breath and asked Riveria.

Lefiya: Riveria, you have met "The Black Swordsman" before with Ais, right? What kind of person he is?

Riveria: Well, He---

But Riveria stopped here and a slight blush appear on her face when she started to recall his Heavenly Handsome face. As a High-Elf, Riveria has seen many Handsome Elf but they all pale in comparison to "The Black Swordsman". Lefiya saw that slight blush on Riveria face and become shocked. She can't believe that the always calm and collected Riveria can show such expression. Riveria realizes her blunder and started to cough.

Riveria: *cough**cough* Anyway, he is really strong. Ais wasn't even his match.

Lefiya: Really?

Even though she has heard it before she still having hard time believe it. Ais is someone who has earned the alias of "Sword Princess" because of her swordsmanship. She still can't believe someone can outperform Ais in Swordsmanship.

If Primis would have heard Lefiya words then he would have shown disdain at her. If just by holding a sword in your hand and use it just with a brute force instead of any technique and skill behind it makes you Swordsman. Then shouldn't those who have stronger strength than Ais and also used Sword should be called "Sword Saint" or "Sword God".

Riveria: The most shocking thing about "The Black Swordsman" is that---------
