Chapter – 18 (Abyss Trial)

When Primis woke up, he found that there was nothing around him except darkness. He could hardly see anything. After looking around for sometimes his eyes got used to the darkness and he was able to see much clearly than before.

He was in a room. But the room was very big. If you did rough calculation, then Primis was in the center of the room which was as big as 3 basketball court. When Primis found out that there was no one except him, he looked at himself.

Primis was no longer wearing Midnight Coat and neither did he had his Elucidator. Not only that, but he also couldn't even activate his Sharingan. His body was also heavy. As if all his power had been drained from him. He was just like a normal person now. Primis expression turned grave, but he didn't despair. He made a fist, opened it made again and opened it again.

Primis: It appears that I returned to normal human. Tch. This powerlessness sure did bring back some bad memories.

He then started to look around the room. He checked every of the corner with no luck. After some time, he bended, held his knees and started panting.

Primis: *pant* *pant*. I really hate this *pant* feeling.

Then after some resting, he continued his search. In the end, he failed to find anything.

Primis: Hello...…Is anyone here...…Hmm.

???: Getting impatient already.

Primis felt a chill on his back, and he hurriedly turned. What he saw made his eyes opened wide. The Person standing behind him was extremely handsome. He has sharp chin and sharp nose. He had dark black hair and was wearing a black trench coat. There was a sword behind him. He has blood-red eyes in which 3-tomes were rotating.

The person behind him was he himself. Unlike the real Primis, this Primis was not only wearing Midnight Coat, but he also had Elucidator. Last but not the least, he also had Sharingan. On Top of that, the pressure coming from this Primis was same as when real Primis was at his peak. It's like looking at the mirror. But what made this Primis different from real Primis was the dark aura which was being emitted from his body.

Primis: Now that's not something you see every day.

???: HAHAHAHHAHA. As expected from my Original, still calm even in front of the pressure I am emitting. Well, it can't be helped. After experiencing eons there's hardly some things which can affect us.

Primis: No matter how much I hate it, I can't deny that. So, ummm......... Dark me.

???: Instead of Dark me, I prefer Dark Primis.

Primis: Yeah, its suits you.

Dark Primis: Even after meeting your Dark Self you didn't look surprised.

Primis: There are two sides of coin. One light and One Dark. No matter how much one side try to deny the other side, the fact won't change. The same is applied here too. Even though I don't call myself a good person, seeing the dark aura from you defines you are on the dark side of the coin while I am on the light side.

Dark Primis: HAHAHAHA. Bingo.

Primis: So, this is Abyss Trial.

Dark Primis: Correct. To complete it you need to defeat me.

Primis: Can I get a sword.

Dark Primis: No.

FLASH!!!

SPLURT!!!!

Primis: Arg!!!!!!

Dark Primis: Hmmm.

Dark Primis looked at Primis whose right arm was cut-off. He was on his knees holding his right shoulder which was now missing an arm. Dark Primis was looking at him with ponder expression.

'Dark Primis: My original is really Monster among Monsters. Currently, I have all his strength means I am Level 8 while he is just a normal human. The difference between us is that of Heaven and Earth. My attack just now was on clear intention of killing him, but he dodged at the last moment. Even though with a price of one arm but still he dodged.'

Primis was currently clenching his right shoulder. The pain of severed arm was at a whole different level. He was barely controlling himself to scream. If his surviving instinct didn't kick in at the last moment, then he was sure he would be dead by now. Dark Primis came out of his though and saw Primis glaring at him. A smile appeared on his face before he said.

Dark Primis: I forgot to tell you something. The pain that you receive in 'Abyss Trial' is amplified by 10,000%. This means you are currently experiencing the pain of being your arm severed 100 times.

'Primis: This Bastard.'

Primis can only cursed him in his mind because he knew if he opened his mouth the first thing he will do was scream out of loud because of pain. But that's not his main concern right now. The blood was flowing from his severed arm non-stop. He felt that his life was slipping away slowly and slowly.

Dark Primis: Ah~ I can't see my original in pain like this. Let me put an end to your suffering.

FLASH!!

A flash passed by, but Primis dodged again by rolling on the ground. But then...

Dark Primis: Not this time.

FLASH!!

Another flash and this time Primis head was cut-off from his neck.

THUD!

A head and a headless body fell. After some time, both disappeared. Then five meters away from it Primis was reborn. Primis was having hard time believing it. He looked at himself to check if something was different. Then nausea feeling swept over him as he started to cough violently.

Primis: *cough* *cough* Did... I just...died…*cough**cough*.

Dark Primis: Yo. Welcome back to the world living. Tell me how death felt.

Primis: Disgusting.

Dark Primis: Really? Then let's continue. I am sure you will get used to it after experiencing it few more times.

Primis: ......

Dark Primis: Now then. Will you be able to complete this trail or will fall into the abyss of despair. I can't wait to see. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
