The Six Portals Blitz was a move Quinn had perfected after so many failed trials and test runs.
The difficulty of the spell was more in the setting than in the actual execution. There were far too many angles and variables that had to be considered for it to be utile during combat.
First and foremost, there had to be ample distance between the caster and his opponent otherwise the practitioner risked also getting hurt in the crossfire.
Secondly, the spell was a magic energy drainer.
Six large portals were just about the most any competent Mortal-class Space practitioner could cast in one battle. Activating all six all at once was a feat Quinn had only achieved after so painstakingly giving his all to the cause.
However, that still did not take away the extra strain that was exerted on his body as a result.
