That was all Hade could see in every direction he looked.
The ground was eerily silent, a deep contrast to the mayhem a couple of seconds ago.
Rozar and Dorian had totally outdone themselves.
"Crazy bastards," Hade muttered as he dusted off his combat suit. Hadn't Professor Miller explicitly said that this was supposed to be a friendly encounter?
What part of that simple sentence had idiot one and idiot two not understood?
Suddenly, a thick irony scent assaulted his nose.
'Iolana!' Hade panicked. His cousin had been standing beside him before the explosion occurred!
Hade was already assuming the worst when "Relax bozo," came a familiar feminine voice behind him.
Twirling around in the direction the voice had come from, Hade could not but let out a huge sigh of relief.
