When August likened the inside of the Great Void to a soul domain, Hade figured that usage of magic inside the realm of consciousness, though limited, was still feasible.

Plus, while Hade was beyond exhausted, that was only as his physical body was concerned. His inherent energy stores, on the other hand, were pretty much untouched.
