Andi just arrived at the location where Khalid and Amira were arguing. He looked at Khalid who was still grumpy while looking at Amira with a hatred that seemed very real.
"Amira? What's wrong with you? Did he hurt you?"
Andi approached Amira who was still struggling to get up. He reached out his hand and helped Amira to stand up. Khalid, who saw Andi's actions, only snorted in annoyance. Inwardly he mocked the actions of his assistant who favored Amira more than him.
"Always like that," Khalid muttered. Andi who heard Khalid's mutter just looked at his boss for a moment then focused back on Amira. For some reason, Andi felt there was a threat from Khalid's eyes for him.
"What do you mean, sir? Are you jealous of me?"
"Jealous? Am I jealous of you for having a friend of a weak woman like her?"
Khalid shook his head and left Amira and Andi grumbling. Andi couldn't help but smile and take Amira to a motorbike parked under a tree.
"Can you ride your motorbike? If you can't, let me take you home."
Amira nodded, then walked towards her motorbike. She looked at Andi for a moment and then refocused on the automatic motorcycle that always accompanies her wherever she goes.
"God willing, I can. I will go! I thank you for helping me."
Andy nodded. he is happy to see the twinkle in Amira's eyes. An expression that he rarely saw from the beautiful girl he had known for the past few months. He immediately got into his car after seeing Amira leave him alone.
"Oh my God, I feel sorry for Amira. A beautiful girl who always gets bad treatment from my boss. Protect her under any circumstances!'
Andi was about to start his car when suddenly a knock on the windshield startled him. Khalid stood outside and waited for her to come out. Andi immediately opened the car door and looked at Khalid who was still on his hips.
"What is it, sir?'
Khalid still with his sharp eyes. There has not been a single sentence to confirm why he came back and met Andi.
"Have you become a traitor who chose to defend the enemy over your boss?"
Andi digested Khalid's question. it is not like what Khalid said. He came to help Amira, purely because he cared. Not wanting to defend the enemy let alone betray his superiors.
"I only care about her, Master. Not wanting to betray your trust in me. Suer!"
"Then should I just believe what your trash says? You helped her and freed her from my threats. And you've known all along that I've been waiting for this moment.
Andy took a deep breath. he couldn't believe that Khalid hated Amira with such real hatred. Even he had ignored his principle, that abstinence for him bothered women. So far Andi understands that Khalid has always acted as a defender for women who are oppressed by the opposite sex. But now, Khalid is doing the oppression.
"What did Amira do to you, Master? Besides her saying that Master humans are at least heartless because Master left when a lover died? I don't think she has any other faults at all."
"I said don't defend her in front of me! I hate you and her"
Khalid left Andi's car and walked towards his car. He looked at the meeting place with Orange Rose and also Amira. The same place but with a different feeling.
When he saw the Orange Rose, he felt incomparable happiness. He dreamed that if he could have the girl with the mask on, he would be very happy because he was a lucky young man.
But when he remembered his meeting with Amira, his emotions ran high again. He knew that Amira had not done anything fatal to him, but somehow the hatred had not left him.
Khalid sat on the hood of the car trying to research his feelings. Hate and happiness that alternately approached him. He sighed.
"I'm sorry, Amira. I have wronged you just because you defended Mutia. I know I was wrong. Andi is right. You are also right. I will try to improve myself from now on"
After being convinced of the decision he was about to make, Khalid felt a little light. The heavyweight that was pressing on him gradually disappeared. Feeling light again.
"Did Master order the soup here?'
A mother approached him and handed him a black plastic bag. Khalid just looked at the plastic that was held out to him without wanting to take it.
"Maybe the girl ordered, not me"
The middle-aged mother in front of Khalid stared at Khalid for a moment. She tried to make sure that she was not mistaken for handing over a plastic bag containing the soup ordered by her customer.
"I'm not wrong, sir. I feel a man ordered soup and asked me to pack it three portions. If you refuse means I will lose my profit today"
Khalid nodded. he could not bear to see the sadness on the face of the middle-aged mother in front of him because of the refusal he did. His hand immediately received the plastic and placed it near his body. His hands immediately reached into his pants pocket to take out his wallet and then handed five hundred thousand notes to a middle-aged mother who was waiting for payment.
"Take the change."
"Sorry, sir. I only accept cash payments. No excess change."
Khalid looked at the woman in front of him in surprise. So far, all he knows is that all traders like it when they are given excess change, but not with the soup seller in front of him. She refused his gift boldly without any hesitation.
"All right, ma'am. I'm waiting for my change soon because I'm going home."
The seller nodded then reached into her pocket and took out some ten thousand bills and gave them to Khalid. Khalid accepted the change with a smile. There is one lesson he learned from the attitude of the seller who does not easily accept people's gifts.
After receiving a change from the seller, Khalid, who was still stunned, received a package of soup that he didn't order.
"Who do I want to give this package to?" Khalid muttered as he looked at the black plastic sitting on the hood of his car. He looked around, trying to find someone he would make as his alms recipient today. Several minutes passed in front of him, but their appearance which on average is very neat so that he does not extend his alms.
A few minutes later, a middle-aged woman appeared in front of her holding a small child. she looked at Khalid who was still looking around.
"Hey, Mom. Can I give alms of three servings of chicken soup to your family? I just bought this from the shop next door, but I forgot that I live alone at home. I'm already so full that I can't bring this home. ."
"Chicken soup, sir? You gave me three packets of chicken soup?'
"Yes. Go ahead, this is for you. I have had my fill and no longer need this for my family.'
"Thank you, sir. Thank you"
The middle-aged mother nodded. her face looked up at the sky as she said something that made Khalid feel very touched.
