Doug was led to a long and narrow hallway and was ushered into a room that was a welcome relief from the metal box that he and Kaitlyn was kept.

At the side of the spacious room is a balcony that has the best view to the city's skyline, A silhouette of a person standing observing the view outside is visible from the side of the half open drapes. He recognized that figure anywhere. As the figure turn to face them,

"Hello Douglas,,, long time no see." smiling the person was glad seeing him. she gesture with her hand to others to leave them.

"Tamara,,, long time no see...." Taking in his surrounding, the bits and pieces of things found there that spelled wealth and luxury, and the appearance of the woman in front of him.

" So this is where you've gone to?"

"Well,,, a girl needs to make money and live comfortably and not be dependent on a what a man has to offer." Doug observed by the look of this room that Tamara really love expensive things that money has to buy, her appearance was far from the simple girl he knew in his school days, jewelries of high quality and designer's clothes and accessories adorned her beautiful body. aside from Kaitlyn, Tamara was one of the girls who got close and affected him. Wait a minute Kaitlyn affected him? well in a different manner... anyway that's not what he has to contemplate right now.

Tamara walk closer to him and put her arms around his neck and look into his eyes saying " Why don't you join me Doug, we can both be rich and powerful, not to mention obtain the things we want." seductively teasing him into submission.

"Rich...powerful everything that money can buy is that's what it is Tammy? at the expense of those poor souls, whose life has been destroyed that you and your group used to achieved all of this!" He untangled her arms around his neck an shove her aside.

"At least I don't have to hope for some unreliable person who can't make a commitment !"

"I'm sorry Tammy but we were so young back then, besides I never said that I like you, you just a assumed."

"I... you've got a way to shatter ones feelings, you shouldn't have made me hope!" Douglas was aware of the hurt in her eyes, but he was not really interested in Tamara in a romantic way, his heart was longing for someone who's yet to come.

"I only see you as my younger sister someone I can pamper on."

"I don't need your sisterly affection.I want you to see me as a woman. There was no one else but you Doug, the ones that came after was just to appeased my hunger for you." he can see the hurt in her eyes and can't helping blaming himself for giving her the wrong signals and this what displeases him and Tamara for ruining a beautiful friendship back then.

"You disgust me Tamara!!! I never imagine you could be this cold blooded!" she sneered looking at him.

"What happened to that sweet and innocent girl I once knew?"

"She was gone! disillusioned by this cruel world where everybody uses everyone for their own selfish reason."

"Tammy, there's still time, come back from this dangerous way of life. I will help you, I got friends that can make you change for a safe life far from all of this. a change of identity and all that will ensure your safety."

"But I don't want that! I only want you Douglas!!!... Will you be with me?look after me? take care of me? live with me?"

"Tamara I got other responsibilities, I can't promise you that, I..."

"Is that woman who came here? What's her Kaye? You've got a steamy scene with her in that cell. I wish you will see me in that way Doug."

"Her name is Kaitlyn, and you got it all wrong she and I are just friends."

"Ahh... Friends with benefits? She risk her life coming here to meet you hoping to be reunited with you. Don't give that bullshit Doug!!! you are in a relationship with that woman."

"Leave Kaitlyn out of this."

"So if that's what you want ? Then you leave me no choice." Tamara opened the drawer and retrieve a gun pointed it to Douglas. "It pains me to do this Doug but if I can't have you then no one else will."

Just as she was prepared to squeeze the trigger a commotion an a series of gunshots was heard from the outside.
