Let bygone be bygone

"Done?" Abhijeet asked.

"Yeah I am totally full. Thanks for the meal" Anna smiled brightly. He let her have everything she wanted and the best part was that if she could not eat, then he would finish that instead. So she was not bothered about throwing food.

"Let's go otherwise your brother will kill my brother with his calls" Abhijeet sent Virat personally to inform Rahul so that he will be assured and now in every one hour Rahul is calling him to know her whereabouts.

"Yupp Yupp" Anna stood up and went outside the restaurant.

In the car both were talking about random things when Anna suddenly went quiet. Abhijeet noticed that and was about to ask, when Anna took his hand voluntarily.

"I am sorry" Anna said while looking down

"What are you sorry for" Abhijeet knows she always apologizes if she feels something is wrong but what's making her feel this way this time.

"I shouldn't have said that 'you can't buy because it's expensive' and I shouldn't have yelled at you" She did feel very bad till now, she never likes to judge anyone.

She herself lived her life like an ordinary girl when she went out for a world tour with not so much expenses and once she worked because she had no money to eat and one time because she had no money to go home.

"Yeah actually you should apologize, I did feel bad about that argument" Abhijeet saw how guilty she is feeling but the reason she is feeling that is different from what he is talking about.

Now Anna started feeling worse. It was totally not nice of her. "Sorry, you can ask me anything because I really want remorse."

"Good then you will let me buy you anything in future if I can." He continued before she could deny "That actually hurt me when you felt that we are not that close."

That's not how forgiveness works. Is he punishing me or rewarding me? But 'I can' means if his bank balance won't affect them then only right? She needs to be assured

"Okay but only if you can. That means it must not affect your bank balance." Yes he won't do that. He stopped himself when I said about buying the whole shop.

"Okay as long as it won't affect my bank balance then only" He gave her affirmative answer to calm the situation but played his own words.

Anna reached her home. She was sneaking in when she heard that voice.

"Come here" She knew that she would meet him there and as always she didn't have any backup plan.

She doesn't want to talk to him because she is still angry but she can't always run away.

"Hi, you are here, I thought I would meet you directly tomorrow." She behaved casually like nothing happened today.

"Where were you?" Rahul is aware that the girl is angry with him and also knows that it's very hard to convince her.

"Nowhere" Anna switched on the TV to make things less awkward.

Rahul took an ice-cream tub and went towards her, he sat near her. "Want some?"

Anna would have said yes if she wasn't full but today Abhijeet made her eat a lot and more of it she doesn't feel like having anything "Naah..."

Rahul for a mere second got stunned by her refusal but then he remembered Abhijeet and everything was clear.

Even if she is angry she never rejects food she likes. He can kind of guess how her day was with him.

Rahul faced towards her. "Sorry" Even though that was important, he did what she hated the most.

"Don't be" Anna never likes when her brothers feel apologetically towards her. "And don't say that again"

He is aware that it won't affect her mood because she gets irritated when someone tries to explain things to calm her anger, when she already knows that her anger is not right to begin with.

But as her brothers they always give themselves second priority "I know I was wrong when I gave you those sleeping pills."

"I am not saying anything brother, you did what you needed, I did what I wanted." She didn't want him to feel guilty at all but she isn't good at forgiving. That is what she hates the most about her.

"Just let's not talk to each other for a day and I'll be alright you know that. I am not disliking anything it just, you know I get frustrated so easily just forgive me for today and by tomorrow let bygone be bygone"

Rahul smiled gently and pulled her in his embrace gently. He knows that it's very hard to convince her and she always prefers this way 'as the time passed the matter also ended'.

Rahul kissed her forehead "Okay, go and sleep. I'll sleep downstairs." She is injured, he doesn't want to leave her.

"Okay bye" Anna smiled brightly and was about to go upstairs when someone came.
