Chapter 8

WILLIAMS POV

I haven't seen Tammy for days now, I'm actually feeling guilty for what I did. I don't even have the courage to face her but I sent somebody to keep an eye on her. I even know her house but I don't want to go in, not now.

I decided to call Mom and congratulate her on her company's 30th anniversary. She replied after the first ring

"GOOD MORNING SON" She shouted happily

"Good morning Mom, congratulations on your company's anniversary" I said formally

"Thank you baby, hope you're coming"

"I don't know yet Mom, I have a very busy...."

"WILLIAMS GEORGE I want to see you there, I don't care if you're busy or not"

"Fineeee I'll try"

"Don't try, I want to see you there and that's final" she commended

"Okay" I said dryly "but I won't stay long"

"No problem, thank you son"

"Yeah" I cut the call

I wasn't even planning to go at first but I think I'll just go and leave quickly, My phone rang and BETTY came in view

"Good morning Sir" she said from the other end

"Good morning"

"Sir I got the gifts for your mom, should I send it to her now or....."

"Just wait till I come to the office, change of plans I'm going to the party" I said and cut the call

I immediately got an idea, why not ask Tammy to go with me, but she'll never agree.

"I'll just go and see her tomorrow then" I thought and finished preparing for work

TAMMY'S POV

Today's the anniversary of PRIDE I was invited to.

Ella has traveled already, So I need to get dressed by self

I went to the bathroom and had a warm bathe, after bathing I came out with a robe.

I used the hair dryer to dry my hair, then I curled it and packed it a messy bun. I did a very light make up, I don't want to look as if I'm trying to much.

After doing my makeup up, I looked at myself in the mirror and I was satisfied with my look, I smiled at myself.

I quickly wore my dress and I looked at the mirror and was happy with my look.

I quickly took the purse and headed out, I stopped a cab, gave him the address.

After about 30 minutes he stopped the car

"we're here" he announced

"Thank you so much" I took out Money from the purse and gave it to him, I came out and saw camera everywhere "Dammmnnnn, this is not good" I said to myself

Somebody tapped me on the shoulder and I turned to see Williams friend, I think is name is Mark, of course he'll be invited. What does he want?

"Hey" he said with a bright smile, he's really handsome but not like Williams

Did I just compare their two

"You look good" he interrupted my thoughts and I blushed

"Thank you" I said shyly

"Did Liam invite you?" he asked, who's Liam oh Williams

"No he didn't" I said coldly

"Heyyy calm down, it's just an harmless question" he defended

"Actually, Mrs George did" I said plainly

"Wow, you know his mother" he said with a shock

"Not really, I met her two days ago" I defended

"woahhhhh, okay no problem then, did Williams know you'll be here" he asked and I frowned

"No"

"Okay then, I'm really sorry for what he said to you the other day, he's like that sometimes" Did he just plead on his friends behalf, Williams is very lucky

"It's not your duty to apologise, and I honestly don't care about him. He can do whatever he likes" I said, I know deeply that I'm lying

"I honestly know how you feel and you have very right to be annoyed"

"Of course I do, I don't need to write a permission letter for annoyance" I said and he laughed

"I think we'll be good friends, I'm Mark Smith by the way" he stretched his hands at me

"I'm Tammy Patrick" I smiled and took his hands "Can I call you Marky" I asked

"Of course baby girl" he said dramatically and we laughed, guess he's not bad afterall

"Shall we Milady?" he gestured to the entrance

"We shall good sir" I said and we laughed

"Is she you're girlfriend?''

"Is she your plus one today?"

"Why did she come in a different car?"

The paparazzi get asking different questions and trust me they're making Cacophony sounds

"Get used to it" Marky said and I laughed

"What do you mean by that?"

"I don't really know" he smirked and I playfully hit his chest making him to chuckle

We walked on the red carpet and everybody was just looking at us, some with jealousy while some are giving confused and surprised looks. Marky tapped my hands softly to calm me down and I smiled at him, he's so nice. I wonder how him and Williams cope as friends

I saw Mrs George, She's looking breath taking, she wore a blue long dress, it has straps but with golden crystals, it looks very similar but it's elegant, this dress was definitely made for her. I found out she's in her fifties but she looks so young and stunning. She doesn't look or act her age. She noticed our presence and walked up to us

"You came" she smiled and gave me a warm hug, damn I love her hugs "Thank you so much" she held my shoulders and smiled

"it's nothing, thank you for inviting me too" I returned the smile

"Wait do you know her Mark" she asked Mark

"Yes I do" Marky replied and looked at me

"It's really a small world then" Mrs George said and we'll affirmed "Come lemme introduce you to my husband" the way she said the husband was so cute, her eyes were shining, looks like they'll still in love with each other, I smiled. She grabbed my hands and I followed her, Mark was coming behind us too.

She halted in front of a man, and I immediately knew he's Williams father, they look alike a lot

"Honey" she called for his attention and he looked at her with so much love "Yes sweetie" he said and she blushed, Wowww

"Meet Tammy, the girl that helped me fix my car"

"Oh I remember, how are you dear" he asked with a smile

"I'm fine Sir"

"Please don't, call me Andrew" Mrs George said

"No sir I can't, you're my elder. I need to respect you" I rejected the offer

"You see? she's a darling" Mrs George said

"Very well then, hope you're having a great time" Mr George asked

"Absolutely" I replied

"Hey guys" a girl said from behind, ooops she's Williams sister. I've seen her pictures before

"And meet my daughter Elsie" Mrs George introduced

"Hi I'm Tammy"

"I'm Elsie but you can call me Elly" she stressed her hands and I took it

"I have a son though but he's not here yet, guess he's busy with work" I can feel the pain in her voice. So he's like that to everybody, wowwwww

"No problem actually" I replied, I don't want to even see him

"My brother is very cute, you'll love him" Elly said and I rolled my eyes causing Marky to chuckle.

Yes he's very cute indeed, I said in my mind

"Wow, nice" I replied

"Do well to enjoy the party, I need to see some guests, if you need anything I'm sure Mark can help you out" Mrs George said and left with Mr George.

Elly also excused herself and left leaving me and Mark

"Hot about we grab a drink" he suggested

"I really need one" I said and we laughed, he held my hand and took me to the mini bar

He drew out my sit for me and helped me to sit, I smiled at his gestures, He's so sweet.

"Do you take alcohol?" he asked

"Fell free to call me a teetotaler" I said and we laughed

"Okay then juice it is" he said and I nodded

WILLIAMS POV

I got into the entrance and saw A lady that looks like Tammy, I wasn't sure if she's the one or I'm just imagining things.

Wow she's the one, honestly she looked breathtaking, I couldn't stop staring, how can somebody look this beautiful.

By the way what is she doing here, different thoughts cross my mind. Is she stalking me? of course not. I decided to walk up to her but Before I could go , I saw Mark with her already, they were laughing and obviously enjoying each others company. I felt my hear crumble, she has never smiled at me before

He held her hands and they went inside, why would she allow him to hold her hands? I frowned

"At least he didn't call her a slut" my subconscious mocked

"Sir the gift" Betty interrupted my thoughts and stretched the gift to me and I collected it

"On a second thought, I want to go in with you" I said and she started blushing, quit it girl I'm just trying to make Tammy jealous

"Oh my God, I can't believe it. I mean of course" She said happily

"I actually want you to act as my girlfriend" I said

"Act?" she frowned

"Of course" I rolled my eyes " infact I command you as your boss" I said firmly

"Okay sir" she replied

"Good, now let's get you a dress, Brog please take us to the nearest boutique" I said

"Sir I thought.."

"I've warned you severally not to talk when I'm talking"

"Sorry sir" she bowed his head and opened the door for me

We arrived at a mall instead which was even better.

"Brog I want you to go with her, buy an evening gown with shoes. I think the hair is okay" I said while looking at her hair

"Okay boss, come on Betty" he called and she followed.

After some minutes they came out and she has changed her dress already.

She's now wearing a Black dress that stopped below her kness, it has a big rose on the side and silver Stones on the neckline, she matched it with silver heels and silver purse

Not impressed but she doesn't look bad. They entered the car and she started looking at me

"What?" I Asked coldy

"How do I look?" she asked smiling

"I don't really care" I replied and her smiled vanished. Good

We arrived at the entrance in about fifteen minutes, she wanted to come out but I held her back.

I went outside and held the door for her, I felt like killing myself, Only El has this privilege.

She took my hands and came out blushing and I rolled my eyes.

The paparazzi was already taking pictures, I looked at her and she kept a straight face.

She was used to it already, it comes with being my Personal assistant.

"Did you finally found love"

"We thought she's your personal assistant"

"are you having an affair with your personal assistant"

"Do Mr Andrew George know about this"

"When are you going to introduce her to the world"

"You said you don't do relationships, what happened?"

The paparazzi kept asking questions and as usual I ignored.

We walked inside and everybody was shocked, I mean who wouldn't.

I saw my mom and it looks as if her eyes balls are going to drop, my dad held a confused look, same with El.

I smiled inwardly, this is going to be interesting
