Chapter 17 TAMMY'S POV
After Marky left I got a phone call from a private number, who could this be. I reluctantly picked the call and my Shaky hands placed the phone on my ears.
"Hey Tammy" the person said, it was a feminine voice and it sounded really familiar but I can't place my hands on it
"Please who's this?"
"Oh it's your worst nightmare, I came to take what's rightfully mine" the person said and I got confused
"What are you talking about" I gathered a little courage and asked
"I'm Jasmine, does it ring a bell?" she laughed. Oh no the girl I met this morning
"What do you want"
"it's you I want" she said
"I don't understand"
"Well I'll break it down to you, Williams is mine and you took him from me" she said
Wait what does she mean Williams is hers, he didn't tell me he was in a relationship with someone else. I decided not to conclude yet
"Are you surprised? don't be darling. I and WILLIAMS dated in highschool but broke up, I still love him wholeheartedly. I was planning to come back for him until I heard a common waitress has taken my position" she said
Oh they're not even together anymore.
"I have a little surprise for you, come outside. I won't do anything to you, afterall it's day time"
"Never" I shouted
"Okay then" she said and cut the call. What's she up to.
I decided to call Williams but heard noises in the kitchen. Oh God what's happening. I hurriedly dailed his number but I say a man walking towards me
"Shhhhhhh" he said while gesturing for me to shut up. My heart started racing and it was as if I'll pass out.
He walked up to me and he was with a pistol. oh no. My heart felt weak immediately.
"Please" I said with pleading eyes
"Oops'" he said and hit me with the pistol
I screamed and that's all I can remember before I blacked out
WILLIAMS POV
Mark Came to my office with a very serious look, I know something is definitely up.
"What's up man, see" I gave him the pictures and little note
And he looked at it
"Who could this be?" he asked
I took out my phone to call Tammy
"What are you doing" Mark asked
"I want to call Tammy, I'll go and pick her up" I said
"Oh no I took her to the house" Mark said while running his hands in his hair
"What do you mean!!" I shouted
"Tammy was right afterall" he said, what does he mean
"She told me this morning that she met a creepy lady that was asking her weird questions" Mark said
"Shit" I was already frustrated
"And her colleague at work knew about Tammy and you spending the weekend together" wait what?
"I told nobody except you" I grabbed his shirt
"Chill man I didn't tell anybody I swear" he said and I knew he wasn't lying.
I quickly released my hands from his shirt
"So how did she find out?" I asked no one in particular
"We need to get Tammy right away" I said and he nodded. We were about leaving when I got a call from her
"Tammy's calling" I quickly picked the call and increased the volume
"Tammy are you okay?" I asked but no reply
"Baby girl are you there" Mark asked but no reply again
the next thing we heard was a loud sound
"Ahhhhhhhhhh" I heard Tammy scream
"Tammyyyyyyy" I and Mark shouted. Oh no
I looked at Mark and it was as if he'll soon pass out.
I quickly put my phone in my pocket and ran out of my office while Mark was coming behind me.
We drove to her house and found the door opened, I got inside and saw a note on the table.
"SHE'S WITH ME, IS EITHER YOU COME BACK TO ME OR I KILL HER"
The note read, I turned to Mark and he was looking confused
"Who could this be?" I fell on the floor
"Seems the person is more interested in you" Mark said and joined me on the floor
"I'll make sure this person rots in jail for touching her" I said with so much anger
I took out my phone and called Mr Dennis, a mafian boss I know. he's the only one that could help me.
"Williams George, it's a pleasure to hear from you again" he said
"This isn't time for pleasantries, I need your help"
"What can I do for you"
"Someone very important to me got kidnapped" I said
"Wow, who dares?" he asked
"No idea" I said with frustration
"Okay then, I'll meet you by 5pm" he said and cut the call
"I don't think I can wait Mark" I said with so much frustration. "I wonder what they've done to her"
"See" Mark said and I turned, it's Tammy's phone. It was locked but Mark used his tech skills to open it.
We saw the last number that called her before I did, it was a private number.
"Guess I have to track this down" Mark said
"We need to get my laptop" he said
"Where's it" I asked impatiently
"I left it at home, I was working From home when she called" he said
"Then what are we waiting for" I said and we quickly went outside and drove to his house.
He opened the laptop and started working while I was pacing up and down.
"Found anything?" I asked impatiently, it was taking too long
"Relax a bit" he said
"Relax a bit huh? Tammy is suffering for what she doesn't know because of me and I should relax?"
"I know how you feel, Tammy is like a sister to me . I'm worried too, I'm trying my best to track her down" he said and he was right. I decided to calm down a bit
After trying for over an hour, it's still void. The number doesn't exist.
"Whoever they are, they came prepared. They've planned everything" Mark Said
"What's the next step man, this is a dead end" Mark said
"Wait I thought you said Tammy's colleague knew about this" I quickly remembered, why didn't we think about this
"Yes yes that's true"
"Her name is Bommy, yes Bommy" he said, oh the same girl that I warned not to go close to Tammy. She'll pay for it
"Shit" I said and we ran out
I drove as fast as I could to the restaurant and as usual I met Reginald at the entrance
"Good morning my good friends" He greeted
"This isn't time for pleasantries, Where's Bommy" I was fuming
"Oh today's Bommy" he smirked. I grabbed him by the shirt, raised my hands to punch him but Mark stopped me and drew me back.
"Where the heck is she" I shouted and I could notice some people staring but I do not care
"she left early" He said with fear
"She's gonna leave this life early too" I said
"Is anything wrong?" he asked
"Yes, she took something precious from me and she's gonna pay" I said and he was confused
I ignored him and we left.
I kicked the car out of frustration, pains shot through my body but I couldn't scream
"We'll find her" Mark assured
"Tammy where ever you are I'll come and get you, I promise. Just give me a little time" I said.
