FOURTEEN: Going Out

It's been two days since Steve started completing missions and now, he was back again in his apartment room.

"Rhena, do you want to go out?" He asked. He feel like he was trapping her in this house because of his fear someone might see her and it's just about right for her to come out since he had copied a power that would really help her not being discovered.

He couldn't help but smile seeing this again, with his almost unlimited stamina, he could make powerful illusions. Probably, small amount of person can see through his illusion if he really made one.

He haven't try it yet but he knew it would also be overpowered like his other abilities.

"Really? I can go out?

Aren't there many heroes stronger than me? What if they kill me?" Rhena bombarded him alot of questions, this is what he did tell her since it was true but he felt like shit when he saw her being scared like that.

"Don't worry, I had another ability which could help us about that. And also, why are you scared? Didn't you have me?" He proudly replied.

Hearing his words, she felt relieve. She remember it like it was yesterday, the punch that she won't ever forget. She knew the man in front of her was probably one of the strongest, if not the strongest in this world.

"Then we should prepare now! What are we ganna do? Where are we going?" She bombarded him another set of questions which he happily answered.

Steve and Rhena came out of the apartment wearing outdoor clothing which definitely fit the two. Steve was wearing a neat white t-shirt and black pants. While Rhena was wearing a white dress that he brought for her,

"You look beautiful." He wasn't lying when he said it, Rhena really looked amazing.

When she hears the compliment, Rhena just looked at Steve with confusion, "Really?"

"Yes, probably the most beautiful person I've ever seen."

"Okay." She replied not really feeling anything from the compliment. Being on the House of Evolution, this type of interaction was new to her so she doesn't know how to react.

Seeing her reaction, Steve frown but immediately replace it with smile. He was just thinking that this must be new to her.

Unknown to him, he was right.

"Hmm. . . Time really flow fast, we have thirty minutes left before the festival start."

He said after looking at his new watch.

It was around 8 pm before the festival at City-C starts, he knows about this as one of the mission he took was on that city and he only heard about it while he was walking on the street.

Steve looked at Rhena for a second before deciding to pick her up in princess carry. She didn't react to it and just let him do what he wants.

"Hold tight, we're going there really fast." He said before suddenly banishing on top of the building destroying the ground he was standing before.

They soon arrive at the City-C after 20 minutes of non-stop full force running. Steve destroyed many roads as he run but his ability Illusion Master have that covered.

"Phew~ we finally arrive." He said before looking down to see Rhena hugging his waist tightly while closing her eyes.

After a few seconds of her not responding, he finally decided to close his head to her hear before whispering,

"Rhena, we're here."

Hearing that, Rhena slowly opened her eyes and looked around. Seeing this, Steve then gently put her to the ground as she continues to looked at the colorful lights around the City.

"Beautiful right?"

"Yes, it's quite. . . Beautiful." She said before going to a stall, smelling something good from it.

"Can I have one of these?!" She asked the old man, before realizing that her monster form was still there.

Before she could run away, the old man smile as he replied,

"Of course."

"Huh?" Rhena muttered clearly confused.

"Don't worry, didn't I said that I had a new power? This is it!"

Hearing that, Rhena mouth couldn't help but opened wide, she looks really adorable.

About a minute later, the old man finally finished the food and handed it out with a smile.

"Here you go miss."

Rhena took it and gave one to Steve.

"Hmm~ this is quite good. What's the name of this one, old man?"

"This one is called Doroyaki."

Steve gave the old man a large amount of money, five times the original price since Rhena was quite happy. Old man tries to denied but with just simple illusion, he accepted it with smile.

Steve took Rhena to many stalls and booths, and he can say that he was successfully on making her happy.

They were now sitting on a beach, while waiting for something. Steve didn't tell her what is it but she was excited since many people were also waiting for it.

While on it, she was looking on the pictures that the two of them with smile.

"Rhena, look."

She looked at fhe direction Steve was pointing to see a small fire flying on the sky.

BOOM.

It exploded to colorful particles, them exploded again and again, creating a beautiful scenery on the sky.

"It was beautiful."

Unknown to her, a tear was threatening to drop from her eyes.
