Nathan and his friends were happy to hear that they were finally going to be able to take a break from all of the hard work they have been doing.Even though they were hired by different gods or goddesses to do work some of them didn't give them any advantages at all.The work was extremely hard in such jobs as the god might even restrain them from using any magic or equipment from other universes which sucked for Nathan and Cyman.Leon on the other hand couldn't complain as he doesn't use any magic and uses a sword/shield which Is allowed to be used.These kinds of gods were usually found in cultivation kinds of universes and so nathan and Cyman were hoping that it wasn't those types of universes.
Leon didn't really care as long as he was able to protect his king he was content.
After a couple of pleasantries they were about to leave the castle but then Eleni stopped them.She threw a briefcase at Nathan who caught it.Eleni explained "that's the currency of that world,It is called world dollar"Nathan dropped the briefcase into cy's shadow which fazes in.Nathan nods his head and says "thanks"then leaves.As they were walking nathan got a little curious.Usually he would read the documents as soon as he got there but he was feeling a little curious and excited as the name of the universe sounded new to him.He opened it up but saw that it was practically empty and vague.To sum it all up it was practically saying "the world is futuristic but has magic elements with people who fought a lot."He didn't bother trying to read anymore due to it being lenthy and that he couldn't read that well so he handed it to cyman.Cyman looked through it and was a little excited but also a little disappointed since he was a man a science...despite him being a vampire,There are angels around,he just travelled to a different universe,nathan can resurrect himself,Leon is undead and he did just meet a goddess...Well anyway he prefers science.To him science Is much more easier to deal with then people well besides his friends...and anime.
Cyman was starting to space out again due to him over thinking the world which earned his a karate chop from nathan.Nathan says "yo Cy everything alright in there?It seemd that you were spacing out and I am guessing that it must be because of the new universe right?Yeah it gotta be real confusing since it is quite vague but oh well we will figure it out while we go along."Nathan gives a polite smile as Cyman get's nervous as he is worried that this universe might be a bit difficult or tricky but he hypes himself up a bit then he goes into Nathan's shadow.The shadow moves upwards then forms into a thumbs up to show that Cyman was ready.
Nathan didn't feel anything when Cy did that so he didn't mind and even if he did feel weird after his shadow moving he wouldn't care either.He knew that Cy was safe in his shadow world and he knew perfectly well how scared cy get's around new people.'Ummm i am getting help for that as I do have the holy trinity in my backpack s-so maybe one day I-I can talk to a g-g-girl.'The last part was strained as cy got really nervous and anxious at the thought of having to talk to a girl.Nathan didn't mind and replies 'don't worry buddy sooner or later you might even look at a girl without fainting'Cyman didn't take what nathan said as him being teased but as encouragement so he nods his head and feels ever so slightly better.
Nathan looks towards leon then says "Leon you ready to get going?"Leon takes a kneel in front of nathan and does a knight's salute.He says "Yes my lord I your humble knight am ready to set forth in our journey t-"He was interrupted by Nathan who quickly says "okay okay I get it you don't have to keep doing this everytime I ask you that question.A simple nod would suffice and please stop kneeling." A voice says 'yeah in this angle it looks like your giving nathan a good time'
Nathan quietly clicks his tongue as that voice is the only voice that it able to quickly piss him off but he keeps his cool and was glad that he is the only one who can hear that voice. 'Yeah just you,the other idiots in your head besides Cyman who can't hear anything I am saying and the...I want to say hundred people reading this shitty fan-fic.'Nathan was quickly confused but just took it as that damn voice trying to annoy him which wasn't working in the slightest.Nathan turned his attention back to Leon who thankfully stood back then adds "plus stop calling me your king.I am not your king and even if i was a king I would be the absolute worse king to exist as I would be too lazy."He shrugged his shoulders then something hits him as he remembers that Leon is currently in his "civilian" clothes and didn't have his armor with him so he says "wait cy quickly go get Leon's armor first."Cyman just nods and disappeared from Nathan's shadow.
A few minutes later a heavy pair of armor is thrown out with Cyman's heavy panting can be heard in Nathan's head.Nathan felt slightly disturbed by the heavy breathing and knew that damn voice was going to say something dirty so he turned his attention to Leon who was swiftly putting his armor on.Leon like usually puts his armor on lightning quick as he had been doing this for years and knew exactly how to put it on and off.
After Leon put his armor on and making sure his sword is on his waist with his shield on his back he salutes.Nathan quietly sighs but shrugged it off as he grabbed onto Leon's shoulder.Blue flames surround them both as they are then teleported to the universe of guilty gear.
They teleport in an alley behind an old looking building but something about it felt off to them.Nathan simply shrugged it off for now as he makes sure that none of the blue flames are showing then he walks forward.It didn't take him long to accidentally bump into somebody so he quickly says "Sorry about that are you okay...?"Nathan looked at the person in front of him who was wearing nice clothing but had a weird hood over his head with a weird symbol on it.Nathan didn't know why but he felt the shadow of this person was weird as if it was looking at him but he pretended that he didn't notice.
Nathan was new to this world and doesn't know how this world works and judging by this person's clothing and marking they must be someone that is apart of an organization.He doesn't know the strength nor the influence of said organization plus it might be a good organization so he thinks that the shadow must be some sort of magic that the organization uses for it's members.Leon was jogging to Nathan's side and was quickly noticed by the man in the hood and the shadow but neither of them make a move.Nathan holds his hand up as a way to tell Leon to stop then says "sorry for my friend he is a good person so he doesn't mean any harm.We well we are kinda lost so can you please tell us where we are exactly are?"
The man stands there as if he was thinking but was actually talking to his boss who told him "answer the question"The man replies "neo new york and the times square is over there"The man points to his left.Nathan could hear cyman writing something down in his head which was predictable of him to do as cy always writes everything down that is new.Nathan smiled and says "okay thank you and have a nice day."
He didn't know what the customs were so he just waves goodbye,looks at leon and says "let's go"which got him a nod in return.They both walk over to the times square to see that it was really weird as the buildings look oldish but there was holographic stuff here and there.Leon immediately sticked out as he was huge and wearing medieval armor.The people mostly ignored him as there are plenty of weirdos around and plus he might just be a huge fan of potemkin.
Nathan looked around and was quite confused on the aesthetics but then again he does have multiple pairs of the same clothes so he couldn't complain nor would he.Nathan remembers the briefcase and he starte to think on what he can use the money for.They both start to look around but they couldn't find anything good well they did but nathan couldn't legally go to them.Well nathan doesn't really know the legal drinking age is but he is sticking to the drinking age back home which is 18 years of age.
Nathan felt dejected as he couldn't find any place that was fun but he perked up when he noticed that there wasn't anywhere to play any video games or to watch anime.Well cy specifically noticed the last part which got both Nathan and cyman brainstorming.They had an idea since they had a lot of money (hopefully) and that their world have such wonderful video games and anime then maybe they can make a gaming center.They both thought that it was a great idea and so nathan left the planning of the building and equipment to cy since he is the smartest out of the group.Nathan was standing in the shade so it was very easy for cyman to leave Nathan's shadow and leave to find a good spot to built a gaming center.This time Cyman was very excited at the thought of bringing anime and video games here so that he may play them.
The entire time Leon was left in the dark as both Cyman and Nathan knew that he would just agree to anything as long as it meant that he can stay by his King's side and keep him safe.
In a different area,the man entered a building then the shadow moved upwards to show a blond man with a bright red blindfold covering his eyes.The man respectfully removes the blond man's jacket then says "Sir zato why did you want me to answer them?We of the assassins guild shouldn't have to answer to such unimportant people."The man named zato says indifferently "That man wearing the armor...is quite interesting as I can tell that he has died once before.He must've experienced the art of resurrection.The conclave must be active once again or an organization similar to them.We must keep an eye on them as the man in blue must be the master of the armored one so he must have some information or some connections to them."Like that things have started to move along in the dark.
back to nathan and leon they were left standing there as nathan just realized he gave all of the money to cy and they have absolutely no idea where the closest hotel is.For a moment nathan felt like an absolute idiot but it was just a moment as he didn't mind sleeping outside.As long as they can find a good trashcan with food inside he was good.The thing is that nathan didn't realise when cy left the voices were quiet as some of them have already left.
