"Why are you all looking at me, if you can't guess, it doesn't mean I can," I said somewhat speechlessly. They all thought too highly of me. It's impossible to come up with the answer after just one listen, unless I was a genius.
Everyone looked at me with disappointment and then turned their gaze towards the things that were taken from me.
I picked up the note casually. "New moon and full moon, take from the center, hidden within the three-colored Sky Eye Rod, the mouse fears the cat and emerges at midnight, wait in the broken, ventilated house, choose any three magic artifacts from the bag, if you hold them without use, you won't need to call on immortals."
What did this mean? The last two sentences were easy to understand; the bag of magic artifacts my master had given me, I could just choose any three to carry with me, then I could be self-sufficient and wouldn't need to chant spells or summon gods.
