Chapter 58

I opened my eyes and saw katsuma's hair. Right now, he was in my embrace. He must have crawled into my arms when we were sleeping.

"Hey katsuma." I then shook his little body. He didnt look like he was waking up anytime soon so I decided to leave him alone. I could have teleported out of his embrace but I decided to stay like this for a while longer.

I just hope that the author doesn't to anything rash in the next 1 or 2 chapters.

After about 30 minutes, katsuma began waking up. When he opened his eyes, he saw me looking at him. Katsuma stared back at me then closed his eyes. "Good morning~" He then rubbed his eyes and yawned a little.

I proceeded to let him go from my embrace but he didn't allow that. "A little longer" I then started having flashbacks. I knew that this wasnt the case but I had to make sure. I peeped into his soul and saw his true feeling.

I was quite surprised at what I saw. It wasnt anything bad by the way. He just wanted to be cared for by someone else. He also wanted someone to look up to and I guess that he figured that I was that person. His dad constantly leaving must have affected him.

"Let's get up katsuma. We have a long day ahead of us." I pulled the covers off us and sat up. He also got up. He rubbed his eyes some more and that's when I teleported down. "Cmon katsuma." He then looked over the rail and saw me.

He wasn't confused or anything. He just put his small arms out over the rail. I grabbed him by the arm pits and brought him close to my chest. "Yo izuku. Wake up." I then poked izuku in the cheek. He soon got up.

"I'm going to go eat with katsuma. I'll be back." Me and katsuma put some clothes on and left the house. While I was carrying him, he told me where a good place to eat breakfast was. "You dont have to carry me anymore." I looked at his cute face and smiled.

"Its okay. Your still tired right?" He looked back at me and nodded. "Katsuma. Is this the place?" We were at a small little restraunt. It reminded me of a waffle house. "Yes big- I mean, Mr Skies. This is the place."

After he said that, he put his head down. "Katsuma. I dont mind you calling me that. Besides, being called Mr. makes me feel old somehow." He put his small head back up and smiled. Well, I do have the mental age of a 40 yr old man

We then walked into the restaurant. It was quiet with only an old man in the corner. "Good morning! Will it be just the two of you?" I looked at the old lady and nodded. "Since the place is empty, you can sit where you like." I nodded at her and looked around. "Do you want to sit over there?"

He looked where I pointed to and nodded. I then started walking over to the opposite corner of the man.

I sat katsuma down in the booth and I sat down on the opposite side. "What are you going to order?" He was cheking out the menu right now.

"This! it looks good." He showed me what he wanted while smiling. "I'm gonna order some coffee."

The old lady then came over and asked us to order. Katsuma told her what he wanted and I did aswell. "Alrighty then. Your food will be out in a minute." She took up the menus then left.

"Your not hungry?" I looked at him and shook my head no (Is that proper wordage?)

"Katsuma. Do you plan on becoming a hero? You asked me but I've never got the chance to ask you." He stared at me for a second then shook his head yes. "My quirk isn't really for fighting purposes." He paused for a bit. "But you told me that I could still become a hero even if i didnt have one that was meant for fighting."

"You can katsuma. Your quirk doesn't automatically make you a hero. It's the way you use it." That may have sounded cringe but for katsuma, it only boosted his confidence of becoming a hero.

While we were talking, the food came out. It was literally a minute. "Here you go. And here is your coffee." We thanked her and she walked away. "Take your time and enjoy it katsuma." He nodded and started eating.

He looked cute when he ate. Sometimes I would pick up a spoon and feed him myself. He found it embarrassing but didnt complain. "I'm finished big brother." I fliched for a moment but he didnt see. "You are? Do you want some more?" He made a thinking face but in the end, he said no. "Let's go then. I'm pretty sure that everyone Is waiting on us."

I then got up and walked over to him. I picked him up and carried him over to the checkout place. I payed the amount of $100. It was a massive tip, considering that the food was only $12. The old lady thanked me and we left.

...

"Where have you been!?" Ida was trying to scold me. "I went out to eat with katsuma." Ida then looked over and saw him sleeping in my arms. "Fine. You're lucky that we haven't left yet." Ida then walked away.

I walked in the house and went to the couch. I sat down and changed the channel. "Bastard! Didnt you see that I was watching that!?" I looked over to him. I gave him a certain face and he instantly piped down. "Idiot! You should have taken us with you." I looked back and saw mahoro with izuku.

Izuku looked like a walking corpse. "You was asleep and I didnt want to wake you." She glared at me for a moment then sighed. She walked over to me and sat down. Izuku did the same. "Listen up. We are all going to be doing different things today. Make sure you handle your task with care." Ida then signaled us to leave.

Bakugo got up and walked away. So did the rest in fact. I also got up and took mahoro's hand. "W-What are you doing!?" I looked over to her and smiled. "Your helping me out today."

Well, I was going to do hero work but I guess not. Right now I was at the park with katsuma and mahoro. They were over in the fields playing tag or something. I watched them as they played and thought 'This is nice.'

While thinking that, katsuma came over to me and held his hand out. "Come play with us." I took his hand and got up. I ran with him over to mahoro and we played. We played hide-and-seek but they found me. Tag but they tagged me. They even bested me in baseball.

These kids are truly terrifying. "I'll be back. I'm going to go get some water." The kids nodded and I left. I went to the water fountain and looked up. 'Its starting already' I then took another sip.

When I did, I heard a loud noise behind me. It sounded like an explosion. I immediately ran back to the field and that's when I saw him. It was nine.

If one was watching this fight, they would see how one sided it is. "Are you guys Alright?" I was protecting katsuma and mahoro. When I asked them, nine shot a finger beam at my back. It connected and upon contact, it exploded.

"Ar-are you okay big brother!" I smiled at him said "Its fine. Those small lazers cant hurt someone like me." Nine happened to hear this and snickered.

"You guys get out if here. I'll be okay so dont worry about me." I then squatted down and patted their heads. "Y-You better come back safe." I closed my eyes and smiled. "You guys protect eachother." They nodded then ran away.

I waited for them to be out of sigh then got back up. "Your a powerful guy." I then looked at him and pointed. "But your not getting those kids." Nine immediately shot out more beams. I started walking slowly towards him.

The beams hit me but did nothing. One larger sized beam came directly at my face but I just hit it away. Nines eye then turned yellow. He stared at me for a moment before laughing. "Your quirk is pretty nice kid. I can see that its overwhelming with power."

His eyes turned gray again. He started using all 5 of his fingers on both hands. He then aimed the beams at multiple parts of my body.

I deflected them all and even sent one back. It was aimed at his leg. Nine reacted fast and put up a yellow barrier and the beam bounced away into the sky. "Your tough kid." Nine then started running at me. I smiled and also ran at him.

We then both clashed with each other. "I'm gonna steal your quirk and that kids aswell." We pushed off each other then started again. He threw a punch towards my face and i dodged. I thew one back at his chest and he dodge aswell. He then jumped back while spinning and sent beams at me threw small openings. I quickly dodged them.

"Your going to kill me first before getting my quirk." Nine only smirked. I also smiled and started splitting apart. Nines eyes widen when that happened. "You didnt have a quirk that could make clones." I smiled at him and said "Its not a clone. I'm just moving that fast."

I proceeded to move my hand back and forth throught the clone to show that it was still me. Nine was shocked for a second but snapped out of it.

He then sent multiple beams towards me. They hit me and the dust flew up. Nine then appeared though the dust and kicked towards my face. bent fully backwards and he flew past me. He used his air wall quirk and quickly struck at me again. This time he aimed at my 'clone'.

My 'clone' moved a little and his leg flew by. He then caught his leg and swung him around. I synced back up and saw the bathroom building in the distance and aimed at that. I released him and he flew towards it at super speeds.

When he hit the wall, it exploded into pieces. I whiped the dust off my hands then yawned. He wasnt unconscious but he wasnt getting up. 'Hes gonna to do that dramatic reveal isn't he.' I sighed and 'walked away.'

When I did, nine got up from the rubble. He hand fully black eyes and seemed to be struggling a bit. I turned my head towards him and stared at him. "Your too strong for me right now in this state, but I cant leave without that kid." Nine then rushed at me again.

Does he want my quirk or katsuma? He was a couple a feet in front of me now. As he was about to strike me, a green bolt of lightning flew past me. It arrived in front of nine and punched him back towards the bathroom. He flew past the bathroom tho and went into the woods. The trees slowrd slowed down and eventually nine stopped moving.

"About time you showed up. I was getting bored fighting him by myself." Izuku then looked at me. "Sorry. I was helping bakugo and the others fight this one guy who could control strings."

Dont say his name again. It feels and sounds weird. "We should get this guy. He seemed to be after katsuma." Izuku nodded in agreement. I then started walking towards nine. Izuku waited for me to pass by.

"He has a cool outfit atleast. Hey, why did you knock him out?" I was now standing over nines body. He had white eyes and looked dead but he was indeed still alive. "Let's tie em up." I reached into the back of my pants and took out some rope. As I was about to tie him up, I widened my eyes. "Izuku!"

Izuku nodded at me and i grabbed his waist. He activate float and I propelled into the air. As we came to a stand still in the air, we looked down and saw a women with red hair. There was also a wolf-looking guy.

"That was close" said izuku. I nodded my head. I wasnt really surprised but I had to make it seem like that towards izuku. We had 'secret messages' with just our names. He reads the 'emotion' in my voice and reacts. I also do the same. Well, I just read his mind.

"Shouldnt we stop them kenji." I looked at him and shook my head. "No. lets.." I then started whispering in izukus ear. He seemed shocked at what I was saying. "No! That could cause problems. What if someone gets hurt. Or worse!?" I took my mouth away from his ear and sighed. "I have a plan for that. When he gets back up on his feet, we'll fight them on that mini island so no one will get hurt."

Izuku looked over and saw the island. "Come on. We wont get this much more excitement for a while." Izuku thought for a long time. Enough for nine and his gang to escape. "Fine. let's do it." I then smiled at him. "But if anyone gets hurt on our watch then.. then."

I put my hand on his mouth. He squirmed around a little and i pointed down. We then fell to the ground. When we landed on the ground, my feet sunk in a little. "Let's go tell the plan to the others." I was expecting him to say something but he didnt. He did lick the palm of my hand and that made me shiver.

I took my hand off his mouth and rubbed it on on his clothes. "Let's go back Kenji. The others are probably already home."

...

"Man I'm tired." I had my hand around izuku neck, holding him up. We arrived at the house and i started beating on the door.

The door opened and bakugo appeared. He looked rough. "Your here now? I thought you had died?" He left the door opened and walked away.

I carried the tired izuku in and arrived at the living room. I sat him down on the couch and I fell down to the floor. "Your plan is terrible kenji. It goes against what I wanted to stand for but I guess I'll go throught with it."

I chucked a little bit and put my hand out. He also put his out and we fist bumped. "Sorry izuku." He also smiled and laughed. "Oh Kenji! Your okay?!" momo then ran up to me and hugged my head. It was awkward because I was on the floor but it worked out. I noticed that she had a tear in her eyes.

I grabbed her arm and rubbed It a little. "Yea, I'm fine." I then looked into her eyes. "Are you okay? I can see that your injured." She shook her head and smiled more. "I'm okay. I was just scratched that's all."

That was a lie. You have a huge cut on your back. I then got out of her arms and got up. I helped izuku up aswell. "Take me to the others. I have a plan." Momo then lead me to the basement.

When I walked in, I got jumped by two little children. "Big brother! Your safe! You didnt come back so I thought that.. that something bad happened to you!"

Katsuma then started crying. "You dummy! You had us worried for nothing!" Mahoro also started crying. I was shocked for a second then smiled. I hugged them back and we stayed like that for a while. "I have a clue about what they want." I then got out of katsuma and mahoro embrace.

I walked to the center of the room and started talking. "Hes after you katsuma. While I was fighting him, he said that he needed your quirk for some reason." I then looked at him. "What was your quirk again?" Katsuma whiped his face then explained it. I pretended like I didnt know and it worked.

"I see now. He must want to use your quirk to heal someone or maybe even himself." I then picked katsuma up. "Katsuma. My friends are injured here. Do you think that you'll be able to heal them?" Katsuma then put down his little head. "I-I cant controll it. I'm sorry!"

I couldnt get a clear look at his face because of the huge hat so I had to push it out the way. "You can do it katsuma. Dont think too hard about it and lt should just happen naturally." I then walked up to momo and placed him down. "Be a hero katsuma and help them out. Please."

Katsuma picked his head up after hearing that. He looked at me then at momo. "I-I'll try!" He then got on his knees and put his hand over momos arm. He closed his eyes and started.

He struggled for a couple of minutes. He started shaking a lot so I calmed him down by patting his head. He stopped shaking and his quirk activated. Momos arm was enveloped in a green aura. "Amazing! I can feel myself getting energized! Thank you." Momo then hugged the small boy.

Katsuma blushed a bit and looked away. Momos breast was all on his face. Fair reward if I'm being honest. "Good job katsuma. I knew you could do it!" I then picked him up and swung him a few times. He started laughing which made me laugh a little. "Alright. Go around and heal the people who have the worst injuries. Call me over if you need help."

I then walked over to mahoro. "I will need your quirk for our plan. Will you help us?" I extended my hand out to her. She stared at it for a while then looked up at me. "Yes! Please let me help you." She then took my hand and I lifted her up aswell.

I walked back to the center of the room and started explaining my plan. Some agreed while other thought that it was too dangerous.At the end tho, we all came to an agreement.

"Alright. Let's go be heros." We were about to evacuate the people of this island. Katsuma was on my back and I was carrying mahoro. Everyone was now healed and he was very tired. Still awake but tired.

it was 11:00 at night so that didnt help him at all We all then left the house and went in different directions.
