What? They actually wanted to come with me?, Cross didn't know whether to laugh or cry. That idea was bad for him. They would find out that he was just lying about having a stomach ache.

<Looks like they are serious about tormenting you, Master.> He heard Adam whisper.

Cross' mouth stretched to both sides.

"Kukuku…"

Everyone suddenly heard a chuckle from out of nowhere. All of the students present in the cafeteria reflexively search for the owner of it.

William shot a glare at this new annoyance. However, when he saw who it was, his furious glare disappeared almost immediately as though there wasn't even like that in the first place.

"H-Head Instructor Goji Schmid?!"

"The Untouchable!"

"The HI is here!"

"The Hero!"

Hearing their lively remarks, "Kukuku… what a cheerful bunch," the person in question said to them.

Goji Schmid was a highly respected person not only in the academy but in the whole federation. He even had the title 'Untouchable' and 'Hero' attached to his name.

Along with the Head Instructor were two other instructors who seemingly looked more like his bodyguards than co-instructors.

"I heard he was one of the brave soldiers who fought and survived in the frontline in that war 10 years ago…" whispered a gossiper student to the person beside him. "I also heard he came back from that war without a scratch. The Western Alliance ran in panic with just a sight of him," another student said.

"Ohh! He's incredible!"

"Yes."

"I see. No wonder he's called 'Untouchable'."

"There's even a rumor that he is the mysterious Dark Reaper…"

"Really?"

When Cross looked at the person, he saw a man in his early 50s. He was wearing a light blue long-sleeve shirt below his blue suit. It was paired with black pants and a pair of shiny black shoes.

Some strands of his neatly combed hair already showed signs of aging. He had a pair of almond eyes and a benign smile on his face.

The other two people with him were both wearing green pants, a black shirt, and black caps on their heads.

Everyone looked surprised at the arrival of HI Goji Schmid in the cafeteria. Even Cai and Noir showed an expression that they could not believe the HI to show up in such a place and at such a time.

Rebecca and Naomi also looked surprised. They thought, perhaps the HI noticed the ongoing commotion that's why he came here.

Rebecca wondered whether Cross was lucky or unlucky with the appearance of the head instructor, but perhaps it was the latter.

While the others looked hesitant, William on the other hand secretly smiled. He walked in front.

"Instructors, my name is William Sanford. A direct descendant of the Sanford Household of Red Beta clan…"

Cross' eyes turned to dots when he heard William introduce himself. He finally understood why William suddenly turned angry at him. It looks like he pronounced his family name wrongly!

Mostly, anyone who heard William's introduction would tremble the listener because of his family, but HI Goji looked just calm.

He was truly a mysterious man. The 'Untouchable' title connected to his name truly suits him.

"I see. So you're the rumored young man who has 98 mana scores. The Sanford family truly breeds a talented descendant, Kuku." HI Goji said in his usual calmness.

Getting the HI's compliment, William was even more proud of himself. Now, there was no way for him to remain quiet about this freak who insulted his family's name. It was his chance to teach the freak who was the boss of this academy. It was a very good chance, especially since the two Blue Delta descendants were also present at the moment.

He sent a glance at Cross and grinned.
