Chapter 2: System in Castle of Black Iron

It had been a few days since his birth and right now Tianshang was just sitting recollecting his thoughts. He remembered that he died saving people from a terrorist Mall. He was a thirty year old man who had just lost his job due to a trap setup by his best friend. Thinking of these things and how sad his life was, he just ran to the man with the gun and and held him in a tight grip, he got shot eight times but he didn't let go. The others on the ground ran up as well and started beating up the criminal, some called the ambulance while some tied up the now black and blue Terrorist but it was too late, he had already died and his life had ended.

But it hadn't, he had woken up with immense pain in his head in a another world! With a system! Right now he was trying to figure out how he had gotten this thing and what he was supposed to do here, was there a mission, a task?

``System, how and why did I get here? What is your purpose and mine as well?''

[Host had done a great deed at the end of his life and saved a great deal of people. Normally this would be rewarded by a simple wish or two but as you had suffered a betrayal but still chose to do a good thing, you reward was multiplied. Even that would normally not be enough to gain a system but as you were a good person throughout your life with minimal sins like lying for candy, you were awarded a system by the Reincarnation Artefact of the Death God. This is a chance for you to climb up and become a God and enjoy your life as you want.]

Taking a little bit of time to understand what he had just been told Tianshang was surprised but happy. He had gained another chance to live his life as he wanted with a System no less. But he was confused about one thing, ``Why did I get sent to the world of Castle of Black Iron?''

Tianshang was surprised and was about to ask the question all Reincarnators and Transmigrators asked, `are there other anime worlds as well?!'. If he was in one of them, there was a chance that the others existed as well so for now he moved on the better questions.

``what are your functions then?'' the happiness in his mind made him laugh attracting his parents attention. ``Oh! Honey, look little Tian is laughing.'' His mother, Zhao Yan spoke to her husband, Zhao Ping. But the voice also attracted the attention of his two elder brothers, Zhao Yang and Zhao Xin. ``Mom! Mom! Can we see little brother as well?'' looking at the love and affection he was receiving Tianshang didn't even hear the system and just continued to play with his family. His simple action of smiling would put the family in a good mood and they played through the night finally going to sleep at around 11o' clock. Looking at his family sleeping, Tianshang felt he should sleep too but he couldn't, even though he was a one day baby, he wasn't fatigued at all. He never really felt hungry either but he still drank milk to make his mother happy.

``system, why do I not fell hunger or fatigue?''

[host's body and soul are being nourished by purified energy and thus require no nourishment or rest. Even if the Host doesn't cultivate, this process will extend the host's lifespan to about 200 years and the host will never catch a disease or be affected by poison.]

Tianshang was shocked and it took a bit of time for him to recover from his shock. But he remembered the other questions he had for the system before he got distracted.

Excited the functions, Tianshang gave a mental command. ``Status''

Tianshang knew not to expect much from his stats but he felt a little weak. but he was genuinely surprised by his luck stat. but he knew better than to question good things and looked at his other stats. He knew why his intelligence was so high compared to the others, He was a Reincarnator from Earth, where although he wasn't the smartest, he was a straight A student at school and college. That's why he got a highly sought after job which his friend was also after. Not wanting to think about past events any longer, Tianshang asked the most important question.

``Where is my starter pack?''
