Oops, Mommy Slept With A Tyrant

As the overweight daughter of the Sutton family, Kelsie is an eyesore to everyone. Her father can't wait to get rid of her, his wife and their daughter daughter too. The man she's supposed to marry can't stand her and looks for ways to end their engagement, all to no avail. But on the day she's to get married, she finds out she's pregnant. Her fiancé finally uses the opportunity to break off his engagement to her and her father sends her packing to her aunt in another city never to return after she refuses to remove the baby like he asked her to. Six years later, she returns to the city to claim her position as the heiress of her mother's fortune, which her father and his wife and daughter has been living off of all these years. But not as the overweight duckling everyone expected, but as a stunning, glamorous woman. Behind her are three children: a daughter who looks exactly like her, a handsome son, and another handsome son who looks too much like the most powerful man in the city. Unexpectedly, the dimwit, her fiancé who broke off their engagement comes begging for them to get married like they were supposed to. "So what if you're stunning now and lost all that weight? Everyone knows you used to be an ugly duckling. Who knows the underhanded ways you resorted to to lose weight. Forget our past and marry me again." The woman looked at him and snickered. "Aren't you the heir of the Baker family? Why would you marry a fatso like me?" The man huffed and said arrogantly. "Hmph! Do whatever you want. But I assure you that no one in Silicon Valley will want to marry a woman saddled with bastard children" The triplets came up on his face and snorted in disdain. "Who's this? Where is daddy when a man like this harasses mommy?” “I told you he wasn’t worth her. Hurry up and call him quickly.” The man who was in the middle of a conference call ended it as soon as he heard the news and went straight to where she was. “Are you hitting on my wife? Bastards? Are you calling the beloved children of Jett Adler bastards?” “Eh-what? Jett Adler? The most powerful man in the city? How is that even possible!”

Chapter 4 Back To Silicon Valley

Six years later

Inside a plane headed to Silicon Valley first class section.

The entire section was quiet as everyone busied themselves with one thing or the other to while away time. The children inclusive.

In the backseat, a woman with beautiful features folded her hands around herself and blindfolded herself.

Three pairs of striking blue eyes watched her from their seats.

Apparently, she had been sleeping for the past 16 hours. That wasn't the problem. Occasionally, she'd change positions, but she had been in the same position for more than 6 hours without moving.

The worry in their eyes were evident as they gazed at her, but none of them had the courage to come closer to her.

"Keira, mommy's chest isn't moving. You're the closest to her, can you hear her breathing?"

"What? No."

"No? Quickly, place a finger underneath her nose."

"If I wake her sleep, I might be losing my phone, Zade."

"If you do, you'll tell her why and if she still takes your phone, Zade will lend you his until you get yours back, isn't that right?"

"It is."

"Jesse, I'm still not doing it."

"Forget it. I'll do it. Zade, Keira, you two learn how to be bold from me."

There was a brief silence before the voices came up again. This time, sounding joyous, but with sorrowful words.

"You will? I, Keira Sutton and my brother, Jesse Sutton, promise never to forget our brother suppose he wakes our mother by mistake!"

Zade Sutton slowly took a step forward. He pouted worriedly. Then gently, but stealthily walked up to her and placed a finger underneath her nose.

He remained in that position for some seconds before he retrieved his hand and heaved a silent sigh of relief.

He turned to the two pair of striking blue eyes behind him gave them a thumbs up. Seeing this, the duo relaxed and went back to what they were doing.

Jesse Sutton returned to typing away on his computer, Keira Sutton continued drawing something on her sketchbook and Zade Sutton went back to the anatomy textbook he had been reading.

Half an hour later, the plane touched Silicon Valley's airport and the pilot announced it for the passengers begin alighting.

Once again, the three children were in a dilemma.

Keira was the first to whip out a phone and offer a reasonable suggestion. "Should I call grand aunt to wake mommy?"

Jesse glanced at the time on his wristwatch and shook his head. "She's been sleeping for 16 hours. Waking her now is totally fine."

However, before they could, the woman suddenly stirred. Her eyes were the first to open before she looked around her to see the vacating passengers.

She got up and lazily stretched her body before turning to the children. Her eyes were as clear as clear as water and that relieved them. She was well rested.

"Let's go." Kelsie nudged them calmly.

The children nodded and grabbed their suitcases.

The sight of a stunning woman with three adorable children behind her caught the attention of everyone in the airport.

Kelsie was putting on a pair of jean trouser and a pristine white shirt. She wasn't putting on any makeup nor was she putting on any jewelry.

Despite her simplicity, she seemed to catch the eyes of everyone in the airport. So much that most of the women who had taken their time to doll up themselves, stared at her in contempt for taking away their spotlight.

She searched the airport with her eyes for the man whom her aunt said would be picking them up, when she didn't see him, she frowned and glanced at her time.

She then turned to her eldest son and patted him on the head gently. "Jesse, stay in the lobby with your siblings. Mommy will be right back."

Jesse Sutton nodded seriously. As the first of the triplets that made it out of their mother in delivery room, he took his position quite seriously and unlike his siblings, acted more adult than most adults.

He took his siblings to the lobby as instructed and waited for Kelsie for half an hour before Keira Sutton took out her phone in boredom and began browsing through the internet.

"Who writes these textbooks? I feel like I'm reducing my IQ." A bored Zade Sutton sighed and tossed aside the anatomy textbook Jesse had been reading, then his eyes settled on his sister who was busily scrolling through her.

"What are you doing?" He asked, inching close to her.

Keira didn't respond, she just stopped scrolling when she came across a post and zoomed into a picture of a man. Then she turned her phone towards him.

"Is it me or is there a resemblance between this man and you and Jesse?"

Zade furrowed his brows into what was supposed to be a frown, but it just made him look cute.

"Are you hunting for another daddy for us?" Jesse asked from where he sat without looking at her.

"What is so bad with that? Preferably, we'd need a rich one. Mommy needs a rich husband and we need a rich father." Keira raised her eyes to look at him.

Jesse furrowed his brows tightly. Despite having almost the same facial structure as Zade, he didn't look cute when he was frowning.

Instead, he really looked like an adult who was visibly upset.

"A rich—? Hmph! Who said mommy needs a rich husband? When I grow up, I'll make so much money that mommy won't need a rich husband. And stop talking like she's poor."

Keira looked away from him and yawned lazily.

"When you grow up? That's still too far. For now, mommy needs a husband. And mommy is poor. She's always sighing whenever she sees her account balance."

Zade who had been looking at the man on the phone the whole time, suddenly rubbed his nose and hummed in approval. "Keira, I like this man. He's the perfect fit for mommy and he's the city's number one bachelor."

"Should I send him a message? If he replies and we find out he's too poor for mommy, then we can ditch him and find a richer daddy."

Zade gave Keira a thumbs up, while Jesse looked away from them.

He turned off his laptop and placed it in his schoolbag murmuring underneath his breath, "Whatever. I'll just have to chase away whatever man you two find and get us a better daddy."

"He replied! Zade, he replied!" Keira suddenly yelled in excitement.

"Really? What did he say?" Zade tried to look when her eyes suddenly fell in disappointment.

"Oh, it-it isn't him. What's taking him so long to reply."

"You sent it a minute ago. Give him a bit more time. Mmh?"

"Okay."

While they were still speaking, Jesse wandered a little bit away from them in order to drown out their voices. He watched them from a distance and after a few minutes, he began walking back.

However, he suddenly stopped in front of glass door where he saw a man dressed in expensive clothing pacing to and fro while the two other men in the room stood by the side nervously.

He couldn't make out what they were saying, but he thought the man looked familiar.

Outside the airport, a midnight black BMW with tinted windows was parked outside.

Kelsie was leaning on one of the airport pillars looking down at her feet.

She glanced at her wristwatch numerous times before she moved away from the pillar and walked towards the BMW.

She stood by the side of the door and whipped out her phone to make a phone call when the door was suddenly pushed open.

She moved away just in time before it hit her and her eyes met the cold blue eyes of the man alighting from it.

The man gazed at her for some seconds before he walked into the airport without a word.

"What was that?" Although she didn't want to look, she couldn't help it after almost being knocked to the floor by a man who didn't seem to see anything wrong with doing so.

It was at this moment that a group of security guards suddenly showed up.

"Miss, you're not supposed to be here. This is a parking space reserved for Mr. Adler. Please get off this space."

Adler? Like the Adler family, the number one family in the city?

Kelsie didn't bother to defend herself and just moved away.

How could she meet someone from that problematic family on her first day back? Bad karma.

"Kelsie, my apologies for keeping you waiting." A voice belonging to a man suddenly came up from her phone.

She took the phone to her phone and hummed lightly, "It's fine."

"I found out something. The man whose crypto wallet you hacked into a few months ago and took his coins is looking for you." The man delved straight to the reason he called.

"I know." She replied disinterestedly.

The man continued, "I also found out he's not just some rich man. He's Jett Adler. The head of the Adler family and the CEO of the renowned Zenith company. You stole from a multi-billionaire and a dangerous man at that."

Kelsie subconsciously thought back to the rude man with the last name Adler who almost knocked her down just now and grimaced.

"Is that so? He's never going to find me."

The man was quiet for a moment before she heard him sniffle, "Word on the street is that he's recruiting every hacker to crack into your computer and find out who you are for him. The reward is high. Even I am tempted."

The corners of Kelsie's lips hooked up into a small smile, "Even if you take up the job, you're never going to hack into my computer."

"You won't even be able to get past the firewall my 5-year-old son built when he was 3."

"I know that, that's why I'm in tears. But that reward is too huge to let go of. Why don't I hack into a random hacker's computer and pass him off on the person he's looking for?" The man suggested.

"No." She outrightly refused.

"Yeah, whatever. I'll just go back to staring at the reward on my computer screen." He sighed and ended the call.

As soon as he did, another call came into her phone and a familiar, yet unfamiliar voice blared loudly from the speakers.

"You've been on a call for thirty minutes? How long have you been in Silicon Valley? You're supposed to come to the house the moment you walked out of the airport!"

"Or do you not know the only thing stopping your sister's marriage into the Baker family is you? Despite everything I told you you still dared to be late!".

Kelsie pressed her lips together and hummed, "I'll be there in an hour."

"Hmph, you better!" Jerry Sutton huffed and ended the call.
