DEREK POV :
The one thing that I didn’t expect from Amy was the huge stupidity and her frustration with me which led her to reach for the door lock without even realizing the consequences of it.

My heart leaped to my throat when she pulled the lock.
Thankfully, it didn’t open.
“What the hell are you doing??” Angrily, I pulled her hand back and then pressed her shoulders firmly into the seat, registering my anger at her and worries which clearly she couldn’t see because she just squirmed under me from terror instead of arguing with me.
“I want to leave." She said hoarsely.
Overwhelmed by my appearance and so did my confession at the lunch.
I think so.
After all, I am trying since she has gone. Just wish she could see it.
"Stop the car, Derek…” With a trembling voice, she ordered and I let out a sigh of relief.
At least, she is not fighting.
“I will, once we reach our destination…” My hand moved from her shoulder as I pulled back the hair from her face.
