Chapter 1 : The Passing Rulers

A great while ago- and yet perhaps it wasn't such a very long time ago, there was a kingdom full of many wonders and was ruled by a king named Draifus.

The king ruled with an iron fist but with a clement heart. He was loved and honored by his people, some called him the King of Kings - meaning he was held in high esteem.

He had his beautiful wife, who ruled beside him and a brave young boy, the crown prince Zeldris. Zeldris was top of his class at the knight academia and always made his father proud.

The king and Queens anniversary was coming up. The King wanted to go hunting on that day and later have a picnic with his darling wife. The hunt was spectacular as the king caught a magnificent magical beast.

As the king and Queen were heading for their picnic. The old couple made many jokes and teased one another as if they were just 2  teenagers that started to date.

Whilst enjoying their picnic the king could not help but notice that his wife was coughing an awful lot. As they returned to the castle, the king visited the physician and informed him about the Queens state.

The Queen was diagnosed with unknown disease which caused chest pains and coughing out blood, (This disease is similar to Tuberculosis). The queen lost weight and felt extremely tired. Soon her state became more severe and she layed on her death bed. Her son and her personal maid weeping as they witnessed her last breath.

No one dared to inform the king of the queens passing!!
