The Trap

To be honest, I felt a bit unsure about doing this. Knowing that people would lose their lives and not take any action, especially when I had the power to do something about it... my old self would never have acted this way.

'But things have changed,' I thought. 

I simply had to ignore the impending violence. After all, I wasn't the one who would be causing harm.

'Besides, who's to say these adventurers won't have sinister intentions in the future that would affect me in some way?' 

It made sense to get rid of them now while I had the upper hand.

'Moreover, there's a possibility that Lu is aware of my Status Information…' It seemed like a perfect opportunity for her to disappear without any blame falling on me.

'Yeah... for my own sake, everyone here will have to meet their end.'
