"Lead me to my Throne, Auset," Zachery raised his head and smiled the most humble smile a human could possibly give.

Every entity exposed to The Axis' copious origin energy evolves and gains a specific ability that will aid him during his journey in The Axis.

And that was called the Ability Factor.

Ability Factors were brimming with pure Omniversal energy or Origin energy. There were no restrictions on the types of Ability Factors that might appear.

From the most little abilities, such as [Procasination], which helped you procrastinate better, to the most powerful, such as... [Perice the Heavens], which allowed your small general to grow as much as you like...

In summary, Ability Factors came in a variety of shapes and sizes. And what about the Ability Factor of the head of a well-known Mercenary company in the lower realms?

It was an elementary Ability Factor called [Analyse], ranked D in Zeroth Order.

Many people might begrudge for awakening a weak ability, but he didn't. Zachery was short-tempered, true, but he was never one to bemoan his lot in life.

That only happened only when it came to his choice of the woman. He had lamented and regretted it for the past 60 years or more.

But for things like this, he would scrap anything he could get his hands on in order to create something that others would covet, which he did.

He had recognized that every skill, when pushed to its limits, would almost always result in a terrifying ability.

For example, a simple capacity to breathe fire, pushing that to the very limit would lead to an ability called 'Absolute Hot' which would be destructive to an excessive degree. Absolute Hot was a level of heat at which even molecules turned into plasma, causing the rest of the region affected by it to burn into nothingness.

This was just one example.

And Zachery had always thought that he possessed an Ability Factor with enormous growth potential, and his Ability Factor rewarded him for that confidence.

His Ability Factor exhibited its real prowess when he evolved it from Zeroth Order to First Order.

And one of them was to mentally 'save' certain mindsets. This was one of Zachery's trump cards, which allowed him to survive the Axis while being judged 'weak' by the Mother System's standards.

When a barrier appeared in front of Zachery, these specific mindsets that had been saved inside his head would be loaded up.

For example, when Zachery had to deal with a Demi-god's mercenary request. When Zachery read the request, he realized that he and his crew had been asked to be the Demi-god's scapegoat in order to avoid criticism from his faction.

The request was simple.

It was to assassinate Darla, a lady who had been raped by the Demi-god. The woman had been raped, which was all too usual in the Axis, but the main issue arose after the incident.

She, a mortal, became pregnant with a seed of a God.

The Demi-God belonged to one of the most ardent light factions. So, when they learned that a mortal had stolen the Demi-God's great and immortal seed. Their Zelous followers were outraged.

Many began to question the sanctity of the Demi-God's Divinity, and many threatened to undermine the Demi-God's power.

And this was the case when only the elders were aware of what was going on. If you could imagine what would happen if the believers discovered the truth...

So the Demi-God took matters into his own hands in order to eradicate the instability, which was the lady carrying his child.

And the request simply resulted in the best mercenary team, which Zachery led.

Zachery understood that a Demi-God's strength was far more terrifying than Zahcery's. So Zachery utilized his Ability Factor to [Analyse] himself and his position to get out of this sticky situation, and [Analyse] loaded a mindset that Zachery had saved in his mind.

Manipulative Mindset.

When his entire mind and body were oriented into this mindset, Zachery couldn't even stop himself from chuckling internally at the circumstance. When Zachery was in this state, it felt it was like a toddler throwing a tantrum at him.

It seemed as though his entire existence was oriented toward manipulating those around him for his benefit.

He even disdained himself for even thinking of panicking in a situation like this.

In summary, the Demi-God intended for Zachery and his team to enter his adobe, murder the Mother with the seed that was developing inside her, and then return to the headquarters to wait for the situation to calm down.

But, according to Zachery's Ability Factor, he could see far more into the issue than the Demi-God's envoy was letting on.

He and his crew were correct in the part of the task where they eliminated the woman. But where was he getting rid of her? In the midst of the Demi-God's headquarters!

If this assassination were to succeed, the Demi-God's power will be even more laughable.

One of the people in their own sphere of influence had been assassinated. That would be the biggest joke for any God, and the Demi-God would never be able to downplay it.

It was most likely that when he killed Darla, the Demi-God and his followers would storm in.

Filled with 'Rage' and 'Righteousness,' the Demi-God would wipe out Zachery and his squad, gaining cheers from his followers and solidifying his position as a righteous God once more.

But Zachery had other ideas for the Demi-God. Zachery had requested a cloaking item from the Demi-God in order to conceal himself and his squad while breaking into the headquarters. The Demi-God, who had no reservations about the request, granted it and hired one of his own Artefacts.

Then Zachery weaved his own webs inside the Demi-God's webs. He referred to the Demon Lord Faction. These were not actual demons, but they embodied how devils lived and died.

Respect the strong, trample the weak!

Zachery had made an agreement with the cult. The bargain was that if he acquired an escape talisman, he would open a portal right into the heart of the Light Faction's headquarters.

The 'demonic' elders and their leader became enthralled by the possibility of inflicting a crushing blow to the Light side and agreed to work with Zachery.

The rest was history.

The Demi-God grinned evilly as he brust opened the door, already picturing the slaughter of the mercenary crew and being acclaimed as the holy God once more. Only to meet the Demon Lord's fist.

After that, it was all turmoil within the Light faction's headquarters. In the turmoil, Zachery had burnt every piece of evidence that pointed to him, and his team had taken the woman Darla with him and tore the escape talisman.

And that was how the Second Light-Blight War began.
