Since they lost the secondary Fireball spell, it became increasingly difficult for Sean, Cecilia, and Alfred to remain in the frigid area. They retreated in the direction from which they came until they could withstand the temperatures within the tunnel.

They didn't continue their journey blindly, especially since Sean had not fully recovered his strength, and they were in no hurry. During Sean's rest, Cecilia continued to cast the secondary Fireball spell, maintaining it for as long as possible. She had confirmed that Sean's alternative method indeed increased her magical energy, albeit at a slower pace compared to the standard approach. Alfred, with nothing else to do, resorted to resting with his eyes closed.
