Crane's Wing Formation

　marine motherships.

　after the chaos, Nelson face now had a bandage wrapped around his head, the wound wasn't fatal yet his paranoia nature made a big deal out of it.

　"nom* crunch* nom*, how about it? any news?" Nelson asked while chomping down on his food.

　Hardy which still stood inside the room answered, "don't worry admiral, no matter where they are, we are still inside the ship, they won't go anywhere."

　"om* nom* crunch*, thats good."

　suddenly.

　'riiing, riiiing!'

　the admiral denden mushi ringed as Nelson's aide picked it up and put it on Nelson's mouth, it couldn't be helped as Nelson was too busy eating with both of his hand, truly the guys gluttony were terrible.

　"nom* nom*, Admiral Nelson."

　there was a voice coming from the denden mushi, "reporting admiral, one of our warship is sailing, i wonder if you gave the order."

　"nom* craush*, leaving? nom* which warship? nom*," Nelson asked in confusion.

　"it's Lt.Commander Hardy's warship sir."

　hearing the crew reply, Nelson couldn't help but paused his meal as he stares straight at standing Hardy.

　"can you see who's in charge over there?" Nelson tried to make sure the reports.

　"please wait admiral," the denden mushi paused for a few a second and finaly the report came back, "...um, aye, i see it admiral! it's Lt.Commander Hardy himself on the bridge and, and i saw the girl which suspected as criminal stand besides him right now."

　Nelson looked straight at Hardy and so do Hardy, they just exchanged looks in confusion.

　"what did you say? Hardy? is it brown skinned, lanky with horseshoe mustache HARDY?" Nelson were realy confused right now, is it possible there were two Hardys? then who the heck standing before him right now?!

　the denden mushi answered back, "positive admiral, it's exactly him."

　everyone inside the room now has funny expressions plastered on their face, there are two Hardy?

　"he, hehehe. hahahha, he said your warship set sails Hardy, and it's you the one who commandeer it!"

　even Nelson stoped his meal hearing all of this nonsense. Hardy finaly gestured to Nelson's aide to give him the denden mushi.

　as Hardy received it he immediately asks, "this is Lt.Commander Hardy speaking, are you sure it is me who commandeer the ship?"

　"wha! Lt.Commander Hardy? why's your voice came from an exclusive admiral denden mushi?" the voice from another side denden mushi were flabergasted as he heard Hardy's voice.

　"answer my question!" said Hardy once again.

　the voice from the other side paused a little while and finaly answered back, "i'm positive Lt.Commander, i realy saw yourself in flesh comandeering the ship."

　Hardy simply close the line, he concluded that somehow, someone managed to impersonated him, and after deducing the fact Hardy sure it was Rei who had done it, afterall the report mentioned about the little girl, and she was seen together with Rei for the last time.

　having this conjecture, Hardy couldn't helped but felt nervous, what kind of ability Rei possess? as he too still wasn't sure about it.

　"nom* nom* nom*, how is it Hardy? how can you command the ships while you are still here?"

　unknowingly Nelson began to eat his meal once again as he scrutinized Hardy from the top to bottom.

　"i'm afraid the criminals are on my ship admiral, and they are trying to make an escape." said Hardy grimly.

　'Clank!'

　Nelson threw the golden cup in his hand towards hardy, making the later forehead bleed.

　"HOW COULD IT BE! DO YOU MEAN THEY JUST STROLLED AROUND AND TOOK YOUR SHIP JUST LIKE THAT?"

　Hardy simply wiped his blood and answered, "don't worry admiral, i'll set sails at once and catch them!"

　"shut up! useless trash!" Nelson gesture towards his aide once more to get him the denden mushi.

　"greeting admiral, bridge here what is your command?"

　"ACTIVATE CRANE'S WING FORMATION! TARGET THE FLEEING WARSHIP!" Nelson shouted on top of his lung.

　"c, crane's wing formation admiral? are you sure?"

　"DON'T ASK TOO MUCH LEST I THROW YOU TO OCEAN! DO IT NOW! I WANT THAT SHIPS CAPTURED BEFORE SUNSET!"

　"a. aye aye sir! dududu"

　'Slam!'

　Nelson smashed the microphone to smitheren after giving his command, he then ordered his aide to lifts his removable platform, 12 to 14 man took the platform handle and lifted it in trained manner.

　"bring me to the gallery!"

　"AYE SIR!"

　the platform with fat mountain on top of it, moving slowly towards the viewing gallery of the mothership, Hardy clicked his tongue in displeasure while he follows.

　Hardy's warship...

　After the not so exciting escapade, the little girl were seen quite relieved as the sailors navigating the ships making their escape faster.

　Rei listened to the marines idle conversation and one of them seems catching his interest.

　marine A, "hey dude, do you have idea why sir Hardy seems in rush?"

　marine B shrugged his shoulder and answered, "no idea, just do your job properly."

　marine A sighed, "by the way, East Blue now has more and more pirates by the day."

　marine C, "yeah, just the other day i heard the marine HQ told our base to make clear if we see 'Red Force' ship, we must make ways and do not engage at any cost."

　marine B exclaimed, ",'Red Force'? thats Red Hair pirates ship right? how can they be still here? i thought they were leaving East Blue since eleven years ago!"

　marine C, " don't know, maybe they still have business in this water? Red Hair pirates were known to have eratic routes after all."

　marine A, "what kind of business one of the four emperor have in East Blue? everybody knows we are the weakest water out of four seas and Grand Line!"

　marine C shrugged his shoulder and continued, "anyway there's another news, Krieg Pirates Armada were seen entering the Grand Line 3 days ago!"

　marine A, "Krieg Pirates Armada?! well, with his 50 or so ships he sure has the bravery to finally challenge the notorious route."

　marine B, "don't underestimate Grand Line, without preparations you won't know how you die over there."

　after several conversations Rei sighed slowly as he realized in what timeline he transmigrated into. however Rei thought were suddenly interrupted by call from the watch on ships crow's nest.

　"sir! it's seems the fleet behind are moving!" shouted one of the crew on watch while using the binocular.

　Hardy(Rei) looked towards the back, as he too saw the enchained warships began to move in orderly manner, first it was their most outer warships, then the one next to it and the next until finally the mothership itself began to move.

　"what are they doing?" asked Hardy(Rei).

　"um, umm, it seems familiar sir." answered the crew as he began to analyze it more closely.

　as time went by the seconds, the crew with binocular started to sweat as his face paled in panic.

　"how is it? what are they doing?" urged Hardy(Rei) once more.

　"i, i, i think its crane's wing formation sir..." answered the crew seemingly unsure of himself.

　'Crane's Wing Formation?' Rei thought as he remembered the 8th branch Marine Base were known as off shore base unique in the anime, as person Nelson were terrible man, however his infamous naval strategy were something to recognize.

　the formation took advantage of the connecting warships to surround and encircled the water space of its enemy in the middle, making them unable to escape, after the formation fully deployed the marines can simply bombards the target within the enclosed space with artillery power, which Nelson base happens to have one super sized cannon to decimate its enemy!

　"SIR HARDY! IT SEEMS WE ARE THEIR TARGET!"

　Hardy's(Rei) countenance turned grim as he heard the crew confirming the Crane's Wing Formation target were seemingly them.

　"wha? why we become the target?"

　"maybe there's a mistake somewhere, we're still marine crew after all right?"

　"si, sir Hardy! why admiral Nelson targeting us?"

　the crew grew restless and finally one of them demanding Hardy's(Rei) explanation, what could Rei do other than bluffed his way out.

　"the criminals seems incapacitate our Admiral! the base now has been compromised, my task here was regarding that!" he said with convincing expression.

　murmurs could be heard once more with the crew panicked as they knew what would happens if the formation were succesfuly deployed, they simply would become a sitting duck with nowhere to run! and if what Hardy(Rei) said was right, the consequence would be terrible.

　"SILENT! steady men, full canvas ahead!" yelled Hardy(Rei) as he threw out any sailing jargon from any movie and books he knew of.

　thankfully the crew understood his order and began to move in orderly manner, however most of them still has not recovered completely.

　 and yet the helmsman the one whom steering the warship couldn't help but exclaimed.

　"sir, at this rate they will overtaking us!"

　Rei heard what he was saying and he observed the ships mast which fully arched, blown by the wind, Hardy(Rei) frowned and said,

　"the wind favor us, they can't catch up."

　"no sir! unfortunately it also giving advantage for the formation behind us and due to that we can't reach our top speed at this rate! their deployed full masts gonna block our wind!" answered the helmsman.

　Rei wasn't familiar with how the ship with sails work, in fact he thought with how far their ship currently were, the ship would run smoothly.

　 however apparently that wasn't the case. Hardy(Rei) should consider his 'crew' judgement on this, after all compared to him surely his 'crew' has much more experience on sea.

　"keep forward!" said Hardy(Rei) with little bit uncertainty.

　Marine mothership viewing gallery,

　"sir! all cannon are manned and ready! the target is within the range of 1st and 2nd ships do we need to commence firing?" reported one of the marine officer towards the indolent admiral.

　"crunch* sluuurp* steady, let the 5th and 6th pass by first then get all cannon loaded!" said Nelson while continously eating his meal.

　the wind blown from behind the formation giving them huge advantage due to their sheer size of formation, Hardy(Rei) ships getting slower by the second as the wind which supposedly blown their sails now began to fade. its apparent Nelson Chained Fleet would overtake Hardy(Rei) ships given enough time.

　as the 1st and 2nd warships gaining more speed, they began overtaking Hardy(Rei) ships from each of its side steadily.

　inside the mothership gallery, Hardy frowned as he saw 3rd and 4th ships folllowing their counterparts ahead, Hardy knew what would become of his beloved ship if Rei didn't give up and letting himself captured.

　as the 5th and 6th ships began to overtake his ship, Hardy finally gestured to one of the officer to give him the den den mushi and connecting them to loudspeaker.

　Hardy(Rei) warship.

　the crew countenance turned to worst as they saw the ships began overtaking them pair by pair from each side, their cannon ports were open as they saw several menacing cannons aiming towards them!

　just right when the crew wanted to give up after they saw the 1st and 2nd ship closing the formation ahead, they heard familiar voice coming loudly from the marine base announcer.

　"this is Lt.Commander Hardy speaking, to the hijacked ship ahead! stow your sail and stop the ship! i repeat stop the ship!"

　the crew heard the familiar Hardy's voice loud and clear as they began to stop all of their activity and gathered on deck looking at the bridge.

　"Marteen! i know you mans the wheel, the guy besides you is Rei disguised as me! and the little girl besides him both are criminals! apprehend them at once!"

　said Hardy once again over loudspeaker.

　the Helmsman named Marteen couldn't help but dropping his jaw while he stared towards Hardy(Rei) in disbelief.

　"si, sir? they've gotta be kidding right?" Marteen asked in confusion.
