She interrupted the janitor and climbed the staircase in a jiffy to Mr. Arthur Bailey's room. She knocked on the door and pushed without waiting for a response. The startled Arthur turned suddenly as the door opened and behold the woman he loved, his heartbeat, willfully walking into his bedroom.
'Children are indeed unifiers.'
He mumbled to himself.
“Why is your phone switched off, Arthur? The children and I are worried. Even Daniel wanted to speak with you.”
He chuckled and maintained an eye contact with her as he got up from the bed and walked up to her. He threw his two hands apart and said.
“Come to your Prince Charming, Nichole. I won't hurt you again. Never.”
She hesitated a bit before she walked into his hands and he cuddled her before giving her a long kiss. Her phone kept ringing while they were kissing. She released herself and pleaded.
“Please speak with the children. They had been worried.”
