03. Chances of survival

*Go out and gather supplies from stores.*

"Calculate our survival chance if we go out now to gather supplies."

The man with braids said with angry chuckle.

*Calculation shows still chance of survival 0.3%.*

Of course!

All four really wanted to strangle this ridiculous program and Gina had to inhale deeply and calm down as she needed new plan.

"Can you calculate plan of our survival to go to 100 %?"

*Yes.* He started calculation and stopped again when line was full.

*Calculation shows to survive 100% you need help of military or way to pull zombies away long enough for you to gather all survivors and supplies.*

Just as she wanted to ask about how to do that, a screen changed and they saw president Lee on screen.

*I can see your four survived. I got report from AI that amongst 3456392 people officially living in this city, only 537 survived. We will save all survivors as soon as possible.*

The man that didn't speak so far spoke with snort. "How? We can't even leave this place without being attacked right away. We have no weapons, no way to escape and no supplies."

*We will pull zombies away. As it seems they are attracted to noise and will follow noise we will make soon. As soon we give you sign to run, go out to main street, go to the left and you will see a huge building. Go to the top and wait for our helicopter.*

"Program, what are our chances of survival?"

*If you stay, 0.3%. If you try going to that building, 47%.*

The four understood that that was their only chance to survive.

"Can you make sound on other side of trains station and pull zombies that gathered in front of the gate? " Gina pointed at the camera showing around hundred angry zombies trying to grab the door, but it was impossible to pass that one with normal strenght.

*They will be pulled away as soon army makes large sound.*

Suddenly in the city screens opened up in front of various survivors, including two oblivious people that were in mid of heated situation and they froze as they saw president staring at them.

*Get clothes in and stay in room until we don't tell you to run to top of the building. We will evacuate you as soon as possible.*

Each of survivors got own instructions and not even ten minutes later they saw huge unmanned tank passing streets and running slowly over cars and zombies that gathered to stop it.

This was newest invention that their country had and it drove slowly trough the streets with such loud sound that all zombies running around could feel shake under their feet so they turned around and rushed towards that sound. 

As they horde passed hotel, two pale people looked at it with fear in their guts and woman just flatly fainted.

The man rushed towards the phone and saw multiple calls.

Seeing his girlfriend was calling him anxiously his heart dropped as he saw something.

A message sent from his phone.

With picture of them two.

His cold eyes started icily at the fainted woman and he literally stepped over her body and sneered.

"So you told her. If she died because of this, I will make you feel worst pain you can think off. She is not like you."

He sat on bed and looked at her until she woke up on ground with hazed eyes and for first time in her life felt real fear.

Why?

Because room was empty when she woke up and door wide open.

He left her alone... That damn bastard...
