Chapter 20: Cocoyashi Village VIII

"Ohh it looks like someone survived" Lucifer said while looking at the marine survivor.

"I'll ask once again. Who are you?" A smoker looks at the young man and asks him again.

"I guess it is not really bad to introduce myself..."

"You can call me Lucifer Nightsky, but Lucifer would suffice " Lucifer smiled at Smoker while looking at the group of marine amusedly .

"I see... And one more thing. Why would you kill innocent marines?" Smoker pause a moment and ask the young man whose name is Lucifer once again.

"Innocent?... Hahahahaha" Lucifer askingly said then he paused for a moment and laugh loudly.

"You should gather more information before giving a conclusion that I kill innocent marines." Squinting said by Lucifer while shaking his head.

"What?" Smoker ask.

"Ask that survivor marine what truly they have done in the past year before you accused me of killing an innocent people" Lucifer look at Smoker deeply when saying those words.

Smoker look at the survivor marines and suddenly remembers the scene where the residents of the village were scared of them, Marines.

"Do you have anything else to tell me?" Smoker look coldly at the survivor marine.

The survivor marine shiver when he saw the cld eyes of Smoker, but in the end he didn't say anything.

Smoker look at the silent marine. He then ordered his comrade to point their gun to the marine and pull the trigger whenever he said.

"I'll ask you once again. Do you have anything else to say?" Smoker said to the survivor marine.

*Gulp*

The marine swallowed and tell the thing they've done. Like extorting people, torturing the criminal they catch and some innocent people who want to report them for what bad thing they done, and lastly accepting the bribe from Arlong to turn blind to what he is doing to the Cocoyashi Villagers.

"Men! Handcuffs this scum and put him on the cell." Smoker yelled angrily. He badly want to lill the guy, but they had some protocol and regulations that need to follow. After the other marines handcuff the scum marine guy. Smoker look again at Lucifer and said to him.

"Sorry for accusing you, Lucifer. But I also need to arrest you, because you murder some people. As I badly want to turn blind to what you did on other marines, we have some protocol and regulations that need to follow. I hope you understand it."

"Ohhhhh. If I don't go with you?" Lucifer said to Smoker.

"You don't have any choice!" Smoker suddenly leap at Lucifer and his body turn into a white smoke.

When he is about to hit Lucifer, Lucifer vanished from his position and appear in the back of Smoker and kick him.

"Argh! "

"You know Haki!" Smoker let out a pain growl and said with a shock tone.

"It isn't obvious?" Lucifer leap several meters away from him and he take out his sword. He coat the sword with haki and attack smoker.

Smoker defend the sword attack by his short staff named, Nanashaku Jitte. A short staff and great counter for devil fruit user, because it was made in sea stone.

*Clang*

A metal clanging sound can be heard when the two weapon face each other.

"Great weapon, but mine is even greater" Lucifer smiled and the weapon of Smoker cut in half.

"Damn!" Smoker course when he saw his weapon was cut in half. He leap meters away from Lucifer and order his comrade to stay away from the battlefield.

"Tashigi, and all of you, leave at this place." Smoker knows that he had no chance to Lucifer. He might have chance if he doesn't know haki, but unfortunately he knows haki.

"But Captain Smo.... " Tashigi wanted to say something, but Smoker didn't even give a chance to finish what she was saying.

"Leave at this place. I can't win at this young man" Smoker dodge the incoming sword attack coming from his right side while ordering his crew to leave.

"Damn it!!!" Smoker try to buy some time till his crew leaves at the place.

"You know you are quite weak" Lucifer appear behind him and muttered to Smoker right ears.

"Shit" Smoker uses his devil fruit ability to make his whole body elementalize into smoke then move far away from Lucifer.

"Looks like your comrade has gone away now. You can also leave now, I'm quite tired of dealing with all of you, Marines" Lucifer look at Smoker and said to him.

"Huh?" Smoker was confused for a moment, but didn't waste anymore time and leave at the place.

" *Phew* finally done with those annoying people" Lucifer said.

"Lucifer are you okay?" A loud question coming from Nami who is in their house.

"Yes I'm okay, I didn't even break a sweat. Hahahaha" Lucifee answer and laughed at the end just to let Nami not ro worry.

"Thank god!" Nami said then she come closer to Lucifer with her sister and her mother's friend.

"Won't you introduce them to me?" Askingly said Lucifer.

"Uhm...I was just going to that part.... This is my sister, Nojiko, and this is my mother's friend, Genzo" Nami then enthusiastic introduce them to Lucifer.

"Nice to meet you two. My name is Lucifer, a friend of Nami" Lucifer look at the blue haired woman and at the middle age man while introducing himself to them.

"Nice to meet you too, Mr. Lucifer. You don't know how much I'm thankful to you. You not only free us from Arlong hands, you are also free of us from the corrupt marines. Thank you very much for doing all of this" The middle age man named, Genzo, said earnestly to Lucifer.

"Haha, you don't need to thank me after all I already have plans to take Arlong from the start because of his bounty." Lucifer sincerely said to the 'fathers figure' of Nami.

"Even though I am still very grateful to you because if it wasn't for you, we won't get out of Arllong's hands." Genzo said to the young man.

"Nice to meet you too, Lucifer. If you have anything you want just tell me. That's all I can offer for the thing you have done to us " The sister of Nami, Nojiko, said.

"I don't need anything really. " Lucufer said to Nami's sister. Though what she said is quite confusing and tempting.

'Damn... What a horny man' Aina the long lost system said.

' Congratulations you've completed the mission ' added by her.
