19 19- Tell the truth

After purchasing supplies, everyone boarded the ship and set sail for Opetel Island. Nami looked at Ethan and asked, "We've only been on this island for an hour or less. Why are you in such a hurry to go to Opetel Island?"

"Look at these wanted posters." Ethan takes out Zora and Kuina's wanted posters, and shows them to the girls.

When I looked at the wanted posters, Nami knew who the people in the picture on the wanted poster were, so she quickly said, "Ethan, are you a bounty hunter? You better not go after these two girls. They are very strong and also good people. I met them before and they saved me from Some pirate trying to catch me."

"Three days ago, wanted posters were published for them and the reward was high on their heads. When I read the newspaper, I couldn't believe that they had taken a child hostage, but I thought that the navy doesn't lie, so I started hating these two girls, but after I arrived on this island I knew the truth and I was really disappointed in Navy. So can you stop trying to catch them?" Nami felt sympathy for the two girls who had no guilt and did nothing wrong, but the Navy put a reward on whoever caught or killed them.

"I'm not a bounty hunter. I heard their story too, and I heard that there's a powerful bounty hunter chasing after them and he's a devil fruit user, so I'm going there to save them," Ethan said with a smile.

Nami was annoyed when she heard this and warned Ethan, "Listen to me, Ethan, we're normal people, we're not at their level so you can't do anything about fighting such monsters."

She also narrowed her eyes as she looked at Ethan and said seriously, "Also, are you going to save them because you're trying to make them fall in love with you? Stop dreaming, they're not something you can touch. Also, they don't need your help, they're strong and they can protect themselves."

Ethan looked into Nami's eyes and saw her upset. And think 'Is she upset that we're going to fight strong people, or is she jealous that I'm going after other girls?'

When he tried to calm Nami, Lucy intervened in the conversation, and said with a big smile, holding wanted posters, "Are they that strong? I want to make them our friends (Nakama)."

"I don't see any problem with us going there as long as Ethan wants to." said Alveda as she walked beside Ethan and hugged from behind and whispered softly in his ear, "I don't mind you having more girls."

"You are all idiots." After Nami said this, she turned away from them and walked out of the room, annoyance evident on her face.

"I'm going to calm her down," said Ethan, standing up and walking out of the room.

Nami stood on the edge of the ship while looking at the sea and sighing, "They're fools, if they knew the strength of these two girls, they certainly wouldn't go there."

Three months ago, Zora and Kuina rescued Nami from pirates, and both of them were able to defeat all the pirates who numbered in the dozens in moments, which made an unforgettable impression on Nami.

Ethan approached Nami and then stood next to her, when Nami noticed him, she turned her face to the other side and ignored him. At this moment, Ethan asked Nami, "Nami, do you believe that Devil Fruits exist?"

"I don't believe in their existence, it's just a myth, why would you ask such a question" Nami said while looking at the sea, Nami didn't know that Lucy and Alvida were devil fruit eaters because they hadn't used their powers in front of her yet.

"Nami, look at my hand," said Ethan as he raised his hand to show it to Nami. Nami listened to him and looked at his hand. The next moment Ethan's hand started to change and long claws appeared from his hand and black scales started covering his hand and half of his arm. The scales looked like part of the armor.

Nami took a few steps back because she was frightened when Ethan's hand changed shape. When Ethan saw her retreat, he said to her in a gentle voice while returning his hand to normal, "Don't worry, I just want to prove to you that devil fruits exist."

"You are the one who ate the devil fruit? Do devil fruits really exist?" Nami said in shock.

"Yes, I have the ability of a devil fruit and not only me, Lucy and Alveda also ate a devil fruit. So what I'm trying to say is that we don't have to worry that we are weak, we are much stronger than you expect." Ethan said as he approached Nami and hugged her.

Hearing what Ethan said, Nami thought, 'Are they really that strong with a Devil Fruit? Can they defeat Arlong with the power of the Devil Fruit?'

Nami turned away from Ethan and looked at him and smiled while saying, "Although you have proven the existence of a devil fruit, you have not proven its strength at all. Can you tell me the strength of your devil fruit?"

Ethan smiled and told Nami about his Devil Fruit's abilities, which shocked her, then some belief grew in her heart that Ethan could defeat Arlong.

'Should I tell Ethan about Arlong? But what if Ethan goes to Arlong and tries to fight him and loses, doesn't that mean I killed Ethan indirectly.' There was a struggle within Nami whether or not to tell Ethan about Arlong, and in the meantime her expression changed greatly from joy to doubt and then frowned.

"What are you thinking Nami, if something bothers you you can tell me I'll do everything I can to help you," said Ethan as he hugged Nami from her waist.

Nami thought for a moment whether to tell Ethan or not and then made her decision, she looked at Ethan and said, "You asked me before why I need so much money, I will answer your question."

Nami took a deep breath and then told Ethan, "If I told you I needed money to save people, would you believe me?"

After speaking, Nami looked at Ethan nervously. She is telling the truth about this kind of topic for the first time.'Will Ethan believe me?'

"yes I believe you." Ethan smiled and nodded.

"Ah! You... do you really believe me? I've tried to steal your ship before, would you really trust a thief?" Nami obviously didn't expect Ethan to believe her.

"Of course." Ethan smiled, put his palm on Nami's shoulders and said, "You know? A person's eyes are not deceiving. When you finished speaking, I saw it in your eyes. Sincerity. Also, you are my woman now, of course, I will believe you."

This word reached Nami's ears, as if a fire was lit in the cold, warm and bright night, which not only made Nami's world glow, but also gave her comforting blasts!

The complaint that had accumulated in her heart violently erupted at this moment, Nami was shocked and started crying! Nami hugged Ethan tightly, her little body trembling, and tears flowing. At this moment, Nami had forgotten everything, she just wanted to throw her exhausted soul into Ethan's arms indulgently, in exchange for her own moment of peace.

After Nami calmed down, she started telling her story and how Arlong attacked their island and killed her mother, then how Arlong forced her to draw maps for him and the agreement she made with Arlong to liberate her village, then she mentioned that she hates pirates a lot.

"Nami, actually I am a pirate." When Nami mentioned that she hates pirates, Ethan decided to tell her now that he is a pirate, better than not telling her and later discovering that they are pirates which will complicate matters further because she will think that he cheated on her because he did not tell her that he was a pirate.

"You are a pirate." As soon as Nami heard Ethan say this, she turned away from him, completely changed her facial features and tried to get away more, but Ethan hugged her again. "Nami Calm down, not all pirates are evil, Lucy and I will not harm civilians like other pirates. I will also save your village from Arlong I promise, so can you trust me?"

"I am really shocked that you are a pirate, and you know I hate pirates but I can give you a chance to prove that you are a good person." Nami said while looking seriously into Ethan's eyes.

"Okay, I'll prove to you that I'm a good person." Ethan smiled as he brought his face close to Nami's and kissed her mouth, then he picked her up and both of them entered the cabin and locked the door, he wanted a special time for him and Nami.

After they entered the cabin, Nami separated the kiss and looked at Ethan and said, "I don't think that's something a good person would do."

"But I don't hate that either." After Nami said this, she kissed Ethan.
