"By the way, I'm Ethan." Ethan lowered his hand to Chopper's level for a handshake.

Chopper looked at Ethan's hand for a few minutes before he inched closer and closer in the most cautious way possible and touched his hand.

"I'm Chopper," Chopper said shyly causing Ethan to chuckle.

"Chopper, what do you think of pirates?" His gentle voice made Chopper feel closer to Ethan and his fear almost disappeared.

Ethan noticed that Chopper kept looking at him without speaking, so he asked another question, "Do you hate pirates?"

"Not really, after all, I've never seen a pirate before. But that has changed now I have met pirates and they are....SCARY!" At first Chopper spoke happily but even before he could finish he saw someone approaching quickly, causing him to get frightened and quickly run away.
