Dean Silvers is a typical teenager living his life like anyone else. However, he realized early on that his life is simply dull and monotonous. His routine involves sleeping until noon, playing video games, and watching anime late into the night - a cycle he has been repeating for months now. Occasionally, before falling asleep, he fantasizes about 'what it would be like to fall asleep and wake up in an exhilarating new world of his choosing.'

Since the very beginning, One Piece has been one of Dean's favorite animes! He is fascinated by the world that is entirely made up of islands and seas. The concept of the 'freedom' that can be achieved by traveling the seas is particularly appealing to him.

Every time he watches One Piece, he wonders what it would be like to sail through the sea, feeling the fresh breeze and taking in the magnificent views.

"Oh, how wonderful it would be to meet Gol D. Roger or Rocks D. Xebec!"

As he starts to feel tired, Dean mumbles to himself, "Alright, that's enough for today. It's time for bed."

As Dean slowly drifted off to sleep, a notification appeared in front of his eyes as a transparent screen.

[If you were offered a second chance to live in any world you desire, which world would you choose?]

Despite being half asleep, Dean was not entirely sure if the notification was real or just a dream. Nevertheless, he decided to answer the question, reasoning that he had nothing to lose either way.

{I choose the World of 'One Piece'}

The notification continued, [What kind of talent or abilities do you wish to possess? Keep in mind that you can only select three perks.]

Dean took this question seriously and put some thought into his answer. He had read many novels about people reincarnating in anime worlds with a system that would grant their every desire, but he found those stories uninteresting. He wanted a more realistic and challenging experience, something that would truly test his abilities and allow him to grow as a person.

Dean was drawn to the world of One Piece because of its abundance of powerful entities such as Gol D. Roger, Whitebeard, and Shanks, who were unafraid to laugh in the face of death. He dreamed of becoming like them, standing at the top, and discovering all the mysteries of the world. He wanted to form his own crew and sail through all the seas together, facing whatever challenges came their way.

Dean shrugged to himself, thinking, 'Hmm, maybe I was just imagining it all...whatever.'

He thought more about the question from the notification. He revised his answer and said, "Actually, I would like to have the highest possible talent in haki and swordsmanship. And I would also like the ability to view my stats, like in a video game. That way, I can track my progress and improve my skills more efficiently."

Dean smiled to himself, feeling content with his revised answer.

[Confirmed]

[Do you want to be reborn as a baby or transmigrated into an already existing body]

As he continued to contemplate his hypothetical situation, he realized that he did not want to start from scratch as a baby and miss out on the opportunity to train during his prime years. He wanted to start with all his knowledge and experience intact and use that to his advantage in the new world he would be entering.

After some consideration, he decided that he wanted to be transmigrated into a 12-year-old body. This would allow him to start young and have ample time to train and develop his skills. He could also avoid any unwanted attention that may come with being an older person in a child's body.

[At which timeline, do you wish to be transmigrated?]

"I plan to embark on my own adventures before Luffy, and having a slight head start on the established storyline doesn't seem like a bad idea."

{ In the original timeline and 4 years older than Luffy}

*yawn*

"Putting jokes aside, it's time to go to sleep."

~Several hours later~

Gradually, Dean eased his eyelids open and blinked a few times.

When he woke up, he felt a sensation of numbness and coldness spreading throughout his body.

"Wh-what the... what's happening?" Dean exclaimed in panic, his vision still partially blurry. He struggled to make out his surroundings but was unable to. Despite his confusion, he attempted to reach for his blanket, only to realize with surprise that his grip clung to something entirely different!

"Huh, sand?... SAND?" he muttered in disbelief, as he opened his eyes wider, only to realize that he was lying down on a beach.

"NANI?"

The sight before him was simply mesmerizing - a vast blue sea and a pristine blue sky, dotted with a few white clouds. However, that was not his main concern.

Just the day before, Dean had been 1.82 meters tall, but now he seemed to be much shorter. This realization added to his confusion and he tried to stand up to get a better sense of his surroundings.

His heart was pounding rapidly with fear and anxiety as he tried to process what was happening to him.

Dean felt his breathing becoming more difficult with each passing second, adding to his fear and confusion. He tried to calm himself down and take deep breaths, hoping to clear his mind and figure out what was going on.

He touched and pinched his little face with his tiny hands, trying to make sense of what was happening to him. "Am I still dreaming?" he asked himself in disbelief. "Why does it feel so real?" he continued, feeling the sand between his fingers and the warm sun on his skin. He was still in shock and couldn't believe what was occurring.

With his confusion growing stronger, Dean pinched himself more forcefully in an attempt to snap out of what he thought might be a dream.

"Aaah! Shit, it hurts..." He muttered, rubbing his pinched skin with his tiny hands. The pain was a sharp reminder that what he was experiencing was not a dream.

He took a deep breath in and exhaled slowly, trying to calm himself down and regain his composure. "Huuuh" he breathed in, and "Puhhh" he exhaled, repeating the process several times until he felt more relaxed.

"Calm down, Dean... Calm Down."

'Am I being kidnapped by someone?' He thought to himself. 'No, I am simply too poor to be kidnapped,' he continued with a hint of sarcasm. 'Then, what is happening?' he asked himself, still trying to make sense of his current situation.

Dean started to turn around in circles, taking in his surroundings. All he could see was the clear blue sea and a vast forest that spanned hundreds of meters. Judging by the layout, he had been stranded on some sort of island. The realization hit him like a ton of bricks - he was alone, stranded on an island with no idea how he got there or how to get back home. The fear and uncertainty that he had been suppressing started to resurface, and he had to take another deep breath to calm himself down.

To confirm his assumptions, he began to walk along the beach, keeping a safe distance from the forest. He didn't want to take any chances, and his initial thought was that if a dangerous situation were to occur, such as a wild beast charging at him, he could jump into the ocean to escape. As he walked, he scanned the horizon for any signs of civilization or rescue. However, all he could see was the vast expanse of the sea and the dense forest on the other side of the beach.

Dean realized that jumping into the ocean might not be the best option if a dangerous situation arose. He could end up facing even more danger in the water. But what other options did he have?

He walked for thirty minutes along the beach, but he still only saw the endless expanse of the sea and the dense forest. He began to feel a sense of hopelessness and despair creeping up on him. The reality of his situation started to sink in, and he realized that he was completely alone on this island.

He felt exhausted, not just from the physical exertion of walking, but also from the overwhelming emotions he was experiencing. The stress, fear, and confusion were taking a toll on his already immature body.

He let his body go limp and fell back onto the beach. He closed his eyes and tried to clear his mind of all thoughts. He focused on the sound of the waves crashing against the shore and the warmth of the sun on his skin. He knew that he needed to rest and gather his strength if he wanted to survive on this island.

Dean slowly got up and made his way to the crystal-clear water to observe his reflection. As he looked down, he saw a tiny figure staring back at him. He was shocked to see that he had shrunk to the size of a child. His once tall and muscular body had transformed into a small, frail frame. He could barely recognize himself.

He was contemplating the idea of inhabiting a body that is completely unrelated to his own. He wondered if it would be a case of body possession, similar to what he had read in Wuxia novels, or if it would involve the recreation of a new body altogether.

As Dean gazed into the reflection, his entire appearance was reflected back at him in great detail. His hair was medium-length, and it fell in loose waves around his face. His eyes were a warm shade of hazel brown, and they sparkled with intelligence and curiosity. Above them, his eyebrows were long and narrow, giving him a contemplative and serious expression. All in all, Dean was a striking figure, with features that were both distinctive and attractive.

He found it peculiar that even though he was in a completely different body, he was still wearing the same outfit that he had worn the night before. He looked down at himself and noticed that he was dressed in a pair of black pants and a loose-fitting black T-shirt, both of which fit him perfectly in his current size. Despite the oddness of the situation, Dean couldn't help but feel grateful that he had something to wear that was comfortable and familiar.

As he examined his new body, his attention was drawn to his wrist, where he noticed a simple-looking bracelet with a small button on it. He couldn't recall wearing it the night before and wondered how it had come to be on his wrist. Curiosity getting the better of him, he began to toy with the button, wondering what its purpose might be.

'Ziiinnng'

He was suddenly taken aback when a transparent screen popped up before his very eyes. It seemed to materialize out of thin air, hovering in front of him like a hologram. He couldn't believe what he was seeing and instinctively reached out to touch it, but his hand passed right through it as if it were made of smoke!
