Chapter 47 Red Hair Pirates

Against this world's greatest swordsman, no one dared to be careless.

"Hawkeye? Are you here to duel me? I'm not feeling too great right now," Red-Haired Shanks glanced at Mihawk, his eyes half-closed from the effects of too much drinking.

"I never intended to fight someone who has lost an arm. I just remembered something you once told me, and I happened to meet someone intriguing, so I brought you an interesting gift," Mihawk said indifferently, tossing Luffy's wanted poster onto the table.

"This is… Luffy!"

"He's finally made his move, huh?" Shanks' eyes narrowed as he looked at the poster, and a hint of anticipation flashed across his face. It was as if he had been waiting a long time for this moment.

"That's… Luffy!" Yasopp's eyes also widened as he stared at the bright smile on Luffy's wanted poster.

"This kid… he's finally made it!" Lucky Roux laughed, munching on a chicken leg.

"It's been so long. I wonder how the brat's doing now?" Ben Beckman's eyes glimmered with nostalgia, seemingly recalling old times.

"Is it Luffy?"

"Captain, is Luffy coming? It's been quite a while since we've seen the kid; we miss him!"

"Hahaha!"

The rest of the crew, upon hearing the news about Luffy, couldn't help but get excited. They had spent some time with Luffy and had grown quite fond of the spirited boy! He was loyal, courageous, and even willing to stand up for them. Despite being so young, he was already a real man!

"Besides this, I also met someone—someone who will one day surpass both of us." As Mihawk spoke, another wanted poster appeared in his hand, this one showing Moonlight's face.

The poster read: Swordsman of the Straw Hat Pirates, suspected vice-captain, bounty 50 million Berries!

"Huh? Who's this? One of Luffy's crewmates? And he's received such high praise from you?" Shanks' eyes twinkled as he looked at Moonlight's image on the poster.

"He seems to be Luffy's companion. His name is Moonlight. I encountered him when I was in the East Blue. He's young, yet he has already mastered Haki to an extraordinary level, and his swordsmanship is sharp and unique. Our battle made me excited. We clashed swords a few times, and I felt he hadn't shown his full strength yet. But then someone interrupted us, cutting our duel short. So, we agreed to settle things another time," Mihawk said seriously.

"So, Luffy's ship has such a formidable person on board? Luffy, you're really lucky!" Shanks muttered, his gaze returning to Luffy's poster. Though Moonlight had surprised him, his focus remained on Luffy.

"A swordsman praised by Hawkeye himself must be something special," Yasopp said as he examined Moonlight's wanted poster.

"He's definitely remarkable. Just looking at the poster, you can almost feel the sword aura emanating from it," Lucky Roux added.

"If Hawkeye says so, this person must indeed be exceptional. It seems that Luffy will be coming to find us soon," Ben Beckman's eyes sparkled with keen interest.

"A swordsman who even amazes Mihawk? That's big news!"

"Who exactly is this Moonlight? I'd love to meet him!"

"He must be quite a character, having a bounty of 50 million Berries, higher than Luffy's!"

The rest of the crew exclaimed in surprise. After all, Mihawk was the world's greatest swordsman, standing at the pinnacle. For him to praise someone, that person had to be extraordinary!

"Well, since you've come all the way here with such important news, Mihawk, don't think you'll get away easily." Shanks looked at Mihawk with a mischievous grin.

"Hehehe!"

The crew immediately caught on and began to grin as well.

Even Mihawk, with all his calmness, broke out in cold sweat, unsure of what Shanks was planning.

"Come on, let's drink again to celebrate Luffy's progress!"

Suddenly, barrels of fine liquor were brought out, and Shanks filled Mihawk's glass.

"Hey, you're not planning to drink yourself into another stupor, are you?" Mihawk suddenly had a bad feeling, seeing the gleam in Shanks' eyes.

"Don't worry about it. We're celebrating, right?" Shanks laughed.

Mihawk felt like he had boarded a pirate ship he couldn't escape from.

"Luffy, Luffy, something big has happened!"

In Cocoyasi Village, after a night of celebration, everyone was sleeping soundly under the open sky. Suddenly, Nojiko came running, panting, looking extremely anxious, holding several newspapers in her hands.

"What's wrong, Nojiko?"

"Huh?"

"What happened?"

Nami was the first to wake up, looking at Nojiko and asking. Usopp and Sanji also got up, and Moonlight opened his eyes, glanced over, then closed them again, deciding that whatever was happening wasn't more important than sleep.

"You… you've all been issued bounties, and the new wanted posters are out!" Nojiko said, still catching her breath as she handed over the papers. They were none other than the new bounty posters of the Straw Hat Pirates, each one displaying their wanted status.

"Ah! We've been given bounties?"

Nami was stunned.

"Yes! I've finally become an official pirate! Kaya, did you see this?" Usopp's eyes filled with tears as he looked at his own wanted poster.

"What about me?" Sanji grumbled, upset that he didn't have his own wanted poster.

"A 30 million Berries bounty? Awesome!"

Luffy was thrilled to see his poster. Now, he was officially a famous pirate known worldwide!

"Fifteen million for me?" Zoro said, waking up and grinning at his own poster. This brought him one step closer to his goal.

"Hey, hey, hey, Moonlight, how is it that your bounty is higher than all of ours combined?" Usopp exclaimed when he noticed Moonlight's wanted poster, which showed a bounty of 50 million Berries—more than Luffy and Zoro's combined!

"It's natural. As long as the Marines aren't fools, they can see Moonlight's strength. This bounty is based on his power. But 'suspected vice-captain'? I don't accept that," Zoro said calmly. He wasn't surprised but was displeased with Moonlight being considered the vice-captain—it wasn't about strength, but principle.

"Yeah, Moonlight is crazy strong, strong enough to go head-to-head with someone like Mihawk. He deserves this bounty," Luffy nodded in agreement.

"This guy's worth even more. If their fight with Mihawk had been seen and spread, his bounty would be twice as high!" Nami said, her eyes sparkling as she looked at Moonlight. She knew just how terrifyingly strong he was.

"That's not the point! My point is, you've all been given bounties, and the Marines know you're here. If you don't leave soon, you might run into them!" Nojiko exclaimed, exasperated at the group's reaction.
