Chapter 37

"Wakey, wakey!" Sin gleefully said when he found Cancer and Yukimaru waking up.

It was still nighttime, but dawn was only half an hour away.

Seeing the situation around them, both the Marines tensed.

They were currently on Cancer's ship, and on the deck, all the Marine Soldiers and officers were bound in handcuffs and ropes.

Most of them were still unconscious, but some were up and obediently staying put in there places as a Pink-haired girl watched over them.

Thankfully, everyone was there and alive. They seemed to have received some first-aid too, and it was thanks to the two doctors, who were dressed in scrubs and wore masks, typical of those who belonged to the Doctor Association of Drum Island, and the two of them were still attending to the injured.

"Captain!" An Octopus-Fishman approached Sin, and both Yukimaru and Cancer frowned at him.

It was not in disgust or anything, but because of the tattoo on his head.

"You belonged to the Sun Pirates." Yukimaru commented, but Hachi ignored him.

"Yes, Hachi?"

"There is nothing valuable left on the two ships. Everything has been transported."

Those words tensed the two Marines, who felt even more helpless.

It was such a shame that the Ships of a Vice-Admiral and a Rear-Admiral had been looted by the Pirates.

Of course, they did not have loads of money or treasure on them. But they had lots of weapons and ammunition which the Pirates undoubtedly did not possess.

"Good." Sin happily said. "Bring everyone here and ask the Marines on the deck about the one who is best with the camera."

"Yes, Captain!" Hachi smiled and then left to do as asked.

"What do you want to do, Pirate?" Cancer grimly asked and watched Sin pull out three Wanted Posters.

These three belonged to Sin, Hancock, and Robin.

"We are not satisfied with the pictures you took of us." He brightly smiled. "So, we are going to hold a photo shoot. And I will introduce you to my Crew too. Isn't that wonderful?"

The two Marines deadpanned at his words but then stayed silent. It was clear that this Pirate was just as mad as the rest, but unfortunately, he was much more dangerous than most.

Everyone from the Blackstar Crew was there except for Law, who was gone for a year, and Nami and Nojiko, who were sleeping in the Black Pearl.

"As you now know, his name is Hachi. And he is very... ruthless..." Sin playfully informed Cancer and Yukimaru when Hachi posed for the photographer, holding his six swords and menacingly looking at the camera.

The poor soldier who was taking the picture was shaking in fear, but to be fair, Hachi did look ready to cut him to pieces.

Next was Augur, who wanted to pose with his dear Sniper.

"His name is Van Augur, and he is my Marksman. The best in the world." He proudly introduced the man to the two Marines.

Augur was done after just a single take, but next was Bepo, who insisted to be caught in motion, and kept reprimanding the Marine for not taking a good picture.

"He's Bepo. He's fun." Sin simply said and smiled when Bepo was finally happy after a dozen takes.

In the end, the Bear Mink selected a picture where he was performing a kick and smiled happily, which made him look very cute.

Kuina stepped forward after that and gave a picture of her holding her dear sword. She was not the one to pose as she was seemingly quite shy about it, and she was fine with the very first picture that the Marine took.

"Her name is Kuina. And she is very talented with the Sword." Sin informed them.

Next was Bonney, and she put up a very attractive pose, which she was doing to rile up Sin. However, he knew what she was intending and did not show the reaction she wanted to see from him.

"That's Jewellery Bonney. She has a bottomless appetite, and she loves talking with her fists." He chuckled as he introduced her, and just when Bonney was about to scream at him, he said something that made her feel sweet in her heart. "If you harm her, I will kill you."

His words were cold, and for some reason, even though these words were not directed at them, both Cancer and Yukimaru felt chills up their spines.

However, they were soon captivated by the enchantingly beautiful lady, who stepped forward to give a photo.

She had an inborn pride in her bones, and the photographer could not help but tremble under her cold gaze.

Hancock only gave one shot, and then walked over to where the rest of the crew were standing.

Next was Robin, and she too only posed once and gave a single shot, satisfied with the result.

"You already know them." Sin smiled at the two Marines before he walked over to the photographer and smiled into the camera.

"See! I look more handsome when I am smiling!" He grinned at Cancer and Yukimaru before walking back to them.

All the Marines suddenly felt a very bad premonition in their hearts when Sin threw a sack full of Den Den Mushi to Cancer.

"Call the headquarters." He coldly said.

"What do you want?" Cancer narrowed his eyes at him.

"I want to have a chat with your Fleet Admiral."

"Why..." Yukimaru was about to ask when he watched Sin's eyes suddenly turn cold.

Sensing that it was better to do as asked, Cancer called the Headquarters.

"Cancer, what's the situation?" A gruff voice sounded out as soon as the call was picked up. "We have been trying to contact you and Yukimaru for hours."

Cancer was about to say something when he felt a cold Dagger kiss his neck, and he took a deep breath before speaking.

"Marcus, transfer the call to the Fleet Admiral."

"What?" Marcus frowned at his words. "Is everything okay? Fleet Admiral is currently resting in his room..."

"Do it, damnit!"

"Hold." Marcus gave in and tried to transfer the call to Sengoku.

It took nearly ten minutes to reach the Fleet Admiral, and finally, a very serious voice sounded out from the Den Den Mushi.

"It better be something urgent, Cancer..."

"Hello, Fleet Admiral!" Sin laughed as he spoke and walked away from Cancer with the Den Den Mushi.

"Who are you?"

"Take a guess, Old Man." He playfully said.

It was not hard to guess for Sengoku. After all, he was aware that Cancer and Yukimaru were heading to Drum Island to face the Blackstar Crew.

"Your silence means that you have guessed who I am." He lightly said. "Let's get to business then. Call back the reinforcements that are headed our way if you don't want to lose a Vice-Admiral and a very capable Rear-Admiral of your force. Not to mention, I have over a hundred more Marines in my hands."

"Do you realise what you are doing?" The words were cold, but they did not affect Sin.

"Do you want them to die, Old Man?" He smiled and asked. "Call back the reinforcements, and I will let go of every Marine that has been captured by me, except for Cancer and Yukimaru."

"You are seeking death..." Sengoku's voice grew colder, but Sin's next words brought a peaceful silence.

"Once the Reinforcements have been called back and I have freed the Marines, you will have five days to update our Bounty Posters. You see, all we want you to do is update them with the pictures that we have just given to a soldier here."

The silence reigned for several minutes until Sengoku finally spoke.

"How many are dead?"

"None." Sin replied with a smile. "Their lives depend on your decision."

"Cancer and Yukimaru?"

"I will drop them off at an Island. Don't worry, you will find them alive and in good health."

"What are you doing in the Drum Kingdom?"

It was a very normal but shrewd question.

"I was there to pick up a couple of doctors for my ship. I have found them, and now I am on my way." Sin replied. "Do we have a deal, Old Man?"

"I need to speak with Cancer." Sengoku said, and Sin stayed silent at his words for a good minute.

"Choose your questions wisely." He warned before walking over to Cancer and handing him the Den Den Mushi.

"Cancer here." The blonde Marine hesitantly spoke.

"Is everyone alive?"

"Yes, Sir." The Vice-Admiral honestly replied.

"Hand it back to Sin."

"So, what have you decided?"

"The reinforcements have been called back," Sengoku told him. "You better stay true to your end of the deal."

"I have a habit of keeping my words, Old Man."

The call was dropped by Sengoku, and Sin collected the sack of Den Den Mushi before disappearing in a bolt of lighting with Cancer and Yukimaru.

They appeared on the deck of Black Pearl, and then Sin signalled to his crew.

Soon the Blackstar crew was back on their ship, and then they set sail.

The Marines, who had now been freed, could only helplessly watch as the commanders of their ship were taken away by the Pirates.

Hachi transferred Cencer and Yukimaru to the cells inside the Ship after both had been put to sleep with the use of powerful sedatives that the two doctors had administered.

Since Law was going to be away for a year, Sin grabbed two Doctors of Ishhi-20 for their voyage.

Their names were Tom and Bron, and they were both in their early fifties and very experienced doctors.

He had chosen them very carefully. And these two were people who had their families back in Drum Kingdom, which they wanted to return to. This was also the reason why they had chosen to live and not die under Wapol. Therefore, there was very little room for any foul play from them.

"Where to, Captain?" Bepo asked and everyone looked at him.

They wanted to stay in Drum Kingdom for some more time, but it was not really feasible right now.

Sin took an Eternal Log Pose out of his pocket and threw it to Bepo. He had found quite a few of them on the two Marine Ships.

"Karakuri Island."

"Hai, Captain!" Bepo immediately set the course according to the Log Pose, and everyone got back to work.

They would have to cut on their sleep for the next few days, but it was not something that they were not ready for.
