Chapter 1: Arlongs reign of terror

1516 Cocoyashi Village

It has been four years since I crashed on the shore of Cocoyashi village. I curse my luck as before that I was doing quite well for my self. I got the Alcohol Alcohol fruit from the system and was making quite the money. But during one of the solo trips, I crashed on the shore no doubt by the fishmens design. I was lucky as I was carrying about 50 million berries as I was gonna purchase a larger ship and possibly hire a crew but all of it was on the back burner as I needed to survive and get strong. Even though I had a special Paramecia type devil fruit, fishmen karate was quite lethal to me. I decided to take my time and get strong. Then kill everyone in Alrongs crew and corrupt marine branch.

As if of today, I was visiting Nojiko again and talking to her about this and that. I was there the day Bellemere was shot and Nani made the deal with Arlong to liberate the village.

"Do you think I can be allowed to leave the village with Nami?" I ask her making her mood change.

Over the past three year I have unlocked Observation haki and have gotten quite good at predicting what a person will do next. For armament I can't do shit as it requires stronger will to use. So I decided to buy Orca style fishmen karate guidebook to help me prepare for my eventual showdown with Arlong pirates.

"I think it will be fine. Just come back okay and take care of nami she has no idea what she is getting into." Nojiko says with a sad smile.

After I left her house, I went straight to my boat/house I have been living in. I thiught abiut running away but I can't do it because Arlong has given one too many speeches about fishmen superiority in front of me. I will eat that fucker alive. I sometimes wish I bought the wax wax fruit as I could have easily defeated Arlong pirates by now.

"You are late" I see nami standing near my ship as she is ready to leave this island. I can't blame her for being agitated as I was 2 hrs late.

"Sorry, a black cat crossed my path and took the long way" as soon as I finished my sentence I got boinked on the head by a 12 year old nami. "Don't waste anymore time as we only have a month to be back"

"Alright alright" I say in a placating manner.

We set sail and left the island as we decided to head to shell town. Axe hand Morgan has taken over the base and terrorizing the citizens. We can make an easy buck as we can steal the seized pirate treasure. As our boat was drifting I gave the mental command of system and a status window appeared in front of me.

I am certain I can beat Arlong in a one v one but don't know about the crew. I never shared my devil fruit abilities with anyone as I can't practice it openly and if the word of it got to Arlong he might see me as a threat and eliminate me.

"It's our first outing let's make sure we don't get caught or killed" I say with grin on my face. I can make money by selling alcoholic beverages that no one has heard of before.

"So I wanted to tell you something before we dock" I look nami straight in the eyes and with a serious expression.

"When I crashed on Cocoyashi I was on my trip back after purchasing a devil fruit. I can create alcohol but it isn't a combat suited ability." I finish saying and already Nami has berries in her eyes

"Oni-Chan we can make lots of money by selling alcohol" she starts sharing her idea but I cut her off

"We can I was thinking that when we get to villages without marine bases or pirates we can attract people by showing them alcohol and you can pick their pockets while they are drunk" and as I finish saying that I can see the berries in her eyes.

"Yes we will get easy targets this way" Nami is snickering
