Garp had tears in his eyes, I can tell just remembering her tears him apart inside. I couldn't help it i walked up to him and hugged him. He has silently suffered by himself for so many years forced to work under the very men who killed his wife. Eventually losing himself along the way along with any family he had left.
"Alright brat that's enough i don't need your pity now lets get to training you may not become a marine but i'm going to train you tell you wish you were dead i have 3 months vacation and the last week i'm taking you to your new home tell you set off on your adventure. Alright brat i want 10 laps around this island by noon that gives you 4 hours if you are late no dinner for you we will complete the rest once you return!"

Panting heavily i lay on my back after finishing my morning run. Garp came up to me grinning like mad oh no what does he have planned now.
"Get up brat we are setting sail" He says with a shit eating grin.
"Huh? Where are we heading don't we have to train?" i am honestly i am very confused but also part of me cant help but feel excited.
"We are going to put you to the test, I just received a call reporting Arlong the saw and his crew entered the east blue and seems to beheading for Conomi islands. You are going to fight him and his crew to test your self and get experience GAHAHA" I blank out, i completely forgot about Arlong I've been so focused on training but this is perfect! I can save Bell-mere and meet Nami!
"Well lets go!!!" I shout while running towards the cost with new found energy
"Hey brat you are going the wrong way!" Garp shouts after me but i'm Already gone.

Setting foot on the marine ship stationed at the dock after Garp caught up to me and pointed me in the right direction. I look around at the sheer size of the boat. it can easily fit a thousand marines on it, this must be a custom ship that some higher ranks get to fit there whole division on. You can see marines all around working and preparing the ship to set sail.
"GAHAHA like my ship brat one of the biggest in the navy with some of the best marines you can find as well" Garp spouts proudly, bragging about his ship.
"Sure old man its a decent ship wait tell you see mine ill build myself you wont want to be anywhere near it if you are looking for a fight that's for sure!" I said while dreaming of my future ship in my head
"Ohoho going to build your own dingy huh? Careful you font capsize in a gust of wind GAHAHA" Garp says while slapping me on the back. If only he knew what ship i was going to build i chuckled and shook my head . Garp turn to hos men and shouts" Get ready men set course to conomi islands got a call reporting Arlong is heading that way and Luffy here is going to fight them to get experience we should get there right Arlong is estimated to be!"
His crew looks at him like he is a lunatic sending an 8 year old to fight a pirate worth 20 million belli let alone Arlong known to hate all humans! But orders are orders the men soon get into action and we set sail for a marine ship it should only take a day to reach the islands. I was about o go look around the ship when i felt a hand grab my shoulder looking up i see Garp grinning at me.
"Where do you think you are going brat we still have a long day of training ahead of us!" I pale at the thought and and try to back away in fear. Yup i totally regret this!
