A new rookie

Hancock had never thought that her you will be captured by the marines. But fortunately they haven't taken them away.

"What do you think you are doing ?" She asked angrily and used her conqueror's haki to knockout every Marine present in her ship. She didn't have the luxury to use her devil fruit powers and turn them on into stone statues. She could feel the clashes of powerful people shaking the entire Island. She might survive this but like what had happened in front of her, her crewmates and sisters might not survive this. So they needed to escape.

Vice admiral Tsuru turned to see the captain of the boa pirates standing opposite to her.

In the next moment Tsuru barely managed to cross her arm in front of her chest in a defensive position before Hancock's foot smashed into her. Even with the last moment armament haki, she felt her arm being broken under the force.

Hancock didn't hold back.

Black lightning crackled around her as her haki coated leg smashed through the defence of vice admiral and sent her flying.

She turned to the only conscious marine in the ship besides her. Rear admiral Gion was on her knees. She asked her name and Hancock told her. After that she quickly freed her crew mates before returning to her ship.

The Silver pearl started sailing in the canal.

And soon there ship escaped the island. They didn't encounter any other Marine Battleship because most of them where concentrated in the eastern and Southern part.

But before the island could disappear from their views, Hancock saw a figure flying in the sky and destroying the entire City with a single blow. The uses of conqueror's haki was evident in the attack. Hancock shivered unconsciously. She could see the shock waves generated by the attack.

Hancock understood that she was still very weak in the grand scale of things.

She clenched her fist.

"I am sorry captain ! I-"

"Don't ! It was not your fault, Silver. Vice admiral Tsuru is a veteran and known for her strategic mind.

And none of you were strong enough to overwhelm her by strength alone.

We will train regularly from now on. In the recent events it is clear that even with our current strength, we are not ready to face the big shots of this world. So from now on for next 3 years we will go on minimum looting and train for the most of our time.

But I also want you to keep an eye on black market. We need information as it is one of the most key points in any fight." Hancock was very clear with her intensions. She needed to get stronger. But there are other aspects of strength as well. So she didn't want to ignore any of them and get beaten by Black beard again.

"So where to captain ?" Tia asked Hancock.

"Back to Amazon Lily." Hancock said simply.

Later Hancock would get an increase in her bounty.

Snake princess Boa Hancock 111 millions berries.

Silver would get a bounty of 61 millions berries.

And thus the boa pirates became famous in the grand line as the new rookie pirates.

So the first saga of our fanfiction ends here.

Next saga will be mostly about Time skips and will cover some of the important events in the time line. Canon will not start yet. It will start around third Saga of the fanfic. I have went through these 40 chapters in astonishing rate. I have never thought that I would be able to complete it before the ending of March. Now I will write this fanfic in a normal pace.

There won't be much power ups in the upcoming saga. But it will be entirely focused on several canon events between 1507 to 1522.
