The playfulness had ended, and Qin Ge had no intention of wasting time. He grabbed the cold face of his opponent and swung it towards the sky, hurling the entire body into the air.

Boom! He raised his leg and kicked towards the sky. A violent and ferocious Ranjiao Zhan wave tore through the void, slicing Miles's body like a massive blade, tearing him in half, and causing blood to fall from the sky.

Before the corpse could even land, the Shikai soul chain shot out from Qin Ge's palm, quickly solidifying Miles's soul, and then, as it slowly disintegrated, it bound and extracted it into his body.

"Bista, the 'Flower Sword,' I wonder who's stronger now, you or Hawkeye?" Qin Ge absorbed the remaining vigour and spirit from the corpse, dispersed the ashes in the air, and then turned to look at the other members of the Rose Society whom the Jelma soldiers had killed.

Although not all remnants of the Rose Society were wiped out, eliminating one of the three primary forces of the Rose Society by killing Miles undoubtedly bolstered Jelma's confidence in taking over the Rose Society's territory.

Under Gauchi's management, properties originally belonging to the Rose Society gradually switched to displaying Jelma's flag. Of course, conflicts still occurred, both from stubborn Rose Society members and other wolves in the dark world who wanted a piece of the action.

Qin Ge naturally had no interest in these matters. His task was to have Gauchi identify the skilled individuals among them so that he could deal with them later.

However, while dealing with the Rose Society's affairs, Qin Ge received another message from Zefa.

"Alan, I'm starting to doubt whether letting you go out for experience was the right decision. Can't you take it easy for a while?" Zefa's Den Den Mushi conveyed his exasperation vividly.

"Are you referring to my contact with Jelma, Teacher?" Qin Ge asked.

"Do you even know? Do you realize how bad this situation is? You're a Marine and allied with Jelma to conquer the Rose Society. Do you understand the terrible implications of this?" Zefa's voice escalated as he expressed his frustration.

Qin Ge remained composed and said, "Teacher, there's no need to get so worked up. I'm well aware of Jelma's situation. However, don't forget that the World Government recognizes Jelma 66 and is qualified to participate in the World Conference. The Marines are under the World Government, so my contact with their affiliate nations isn't as problematic as it might seem!"

Jelma was once a feared power in the North Blue, and to suppress them, the World Government propagated a series of comic stories that portrayed Jelma as an evil military force, stirring public opinion against them.

Although the morality of Jelma could be debated, as Qin Ge pointed out, Jelma was still one of the World Government's affiliate nations.

Zefa was surprised by Qin Ge's insight and admitted, "You truly have a unique perspective. I underestimated you, my student."

Qin Ge smiled. If he were a native of this world, he wouldn't have such insights, but as someone who knew many secrets as a transmigrator, he saw things differently.

"Returning to the topic, the last time you contacted me, you provided guidance and assigned me a mission. Is this going to be the same this time?" Qin Ge asked.

It started as a joke, but surprisingly, Qin Ge's words hit the mark. Zefa's contact was indeed about a mission, and it was related to Jelma.

Although Qin Ge's contact with Jelma seemed acceptable on the surface, it had its consequences. In the eyes of many, Jelma was still seen as an evil organization. Furthermore, Qin Ge was a Marine whose true identity was at risk of exposure. To counter this, Zefa and Kizaru devised a plan.

"In other words, you intend to falsify my contact with Jelma as if it were part of a special mission and to offset this event, and you want me to perform acts that align with the Marine's sense of justice, correct?" Qin Ge contemplated.

"Exactly. You're currently on an external expedition, and in a few years, you'll return to the Marines to take part in the graduation assessment. 

Before that happens, you must arrest or eliminate ten pirates or criminals with bounties exceeding 300 million or three with compensations exceeding 500 million!" Zefa stated it firmly.

"The mission's difficulty is not small, Teacher. You seem to have a lot of confidence in me. This mission may be challenging, but will also serve as training for you. It will also earn you enough military achievements!" Zefa said it enthusiastically.

Qin Ge's eyes gleamed. If he completed this mission, the accumulated military merits would be sufficient for him to graduate as a Marine Rear Admiral.

"It looks like I'll have to work even harder in the coming days!" Ending the call, Qin Ge walked to the window and looked at the distant sea view, a faint smile on his lips.
