PART 2 - Witch

In the New World, the grand Fairy Beauty Contest continued to be lively and energetic on Grimm Island.

After Alice left the stage, beautiful women from various races took their turn to step onto the stage.

They were all fantastic and charming, each with its unique features.

Whether from the Longarm Tribe, Longleg Tribe, Snake Neck Tribe, Dwarves, or Giant women, they all appeared onstage.

Today's beauty contest was a feast for the eyes of all the spectators. Lox and Morgans were engaged in a light-hearted conversation at the judges' table.

"Hehehe, Captain Lox, I heard an extraordinary person is participating in this Hundred Flowers Festival. I wonder if it's true," Morgans said, flapping his wings and looking at Lox anxiously.

"A special person, you say? If we judge by strength, then yes, she is indeed special. After all, for a woman to possess such power is quite rare," Lox replied calmly, his gaze fixed on the women on stage.

"Hehehe, so it's true! I knew it. Inviting Captain Lox to this grand event was the right choice!" Morgans responded with a smile, his eyes bright with anticipation.

"Hehehehe! I'm looking forward to the time ahead!" Morgans continued.

"Alright, everyone! Let's welcome the most famous female singer on the high seas, Ailan!" With Ailin's passionate words, the elegantly dressed Ailan, wearing a black gown, slowly ascended the stage.

"Oh, oh, oh, oh!"

"Ailan-chan! Ailan-chan!"

"Ailan-chan! I love you!"

The lively venue became even more enthusiastic, with the audience shouting Ailan's name like a roaring sea.

Lox listened to the shouts of Ailan's name filling the entire venue and couldn't help but be surprised. "Idol singers are popular no matter where you go."

"Hehehe, isn't that obvious? Captain Lox, haven't you heard Ailan-chan's songs?" Leo's eyes turned into two continuously beating red hearts as he excitedly spoke to Lox.

"Well, I haven't heard them, and I'm not interested in those things," Lox replied.

"How can you say that, Captain Lox? You must listen to Ailan-chan's songs if you have the chance! They are touching!" Leo insisted.

"Is that so? If I have the time, I'll listen," Lox replied. While Lox was chatting with Leo, Ailan took the microphone from Enel's hand.

"Hello, everyone! I'm the forever beloved and adorable Ailan-chan!" Ailan made an adorable expression and gesture.

"Today, Ailan-chan is honoured to participate in the Hundred Flowers Festival. Especially this year, with so many celebrities here as judges, Ailan-chan is super excited and happy!"

"Also, for today, Ailan-chan specially wrote a song for my idol, Captain Lox. The song is called 'My Captain!' Today, Ailan-chan is here to dedicate it to my captain, Lord Lox!"

As the music accompaniment began, Ailan struck an elegant pose and started to sing. In no time, the entire venue was filled with Ailan's sweet and majestic voice.

After a few minutes, the song ended, and Ailan bowed to the judges' table and the audience.

"Ah!!!! Ailan-chan! I love you!"

"Ailan-chan! I want to give birth to monkeys for you!" After Ailan's performance, the entire venue was plunged into a frenzy. Everyone was cheering and shouting.

Even the judges' table, except for Lox, was caught up in the excitement. Lox calmly watched Ailan, who had a smile on her face, and his gaze shone brightly.

"Devil Fruit ability, huh? I have to admit, it's quite impressive." Lox praised Ailan's ability in a calm tone. The people seemed immersed in the excitement and ignored what Lox had said.

"Hehe, you can't hide anything from Lord Lox, it seems," Ailan giggled, then slowly walked down from the stage. 

She placed both hands on Lox's table, leaned back slightly, and looked at Lox with sparkling eyes.

"Lord Lox, I like you. When I said you're my idol, I wasn't lying!"

"Also, can I join Lord Lox's pirate crew?"

Lox calmly looked at Ailan, whose face was almost touching his. "Join my pirate crew? Well, it's not impossible. I need money right now." Lox didn't refuse; he just looked at her calmly.

"Money, you say! I understand! Lord Lox, I'll give you all the berries I've earned before, and I can also perform to earn more money!" Ailan blinked playfully.

"Is that so? Then I agree."

"Hehe, thank you, Lord Lox!"

Ailan leaned closer to Lox and gently kissed his cheek before returning to the stage.

"Snap!"

With a snap of her fingers, the mysterious atmosphere that had filled the venue instantly dissipated.

"Huh?" Morgans suddenly snapped out of it and looked around curiously.

"What just happened? It seems like I lost consciousness and was being controlled by something?"

He muttered to himself before realizing what had occurred and looking towards the stage.

"Hehehe, it's that woman! It seems the rumours weren't wrong!" Morgans chuckled.

"Rumors?" Lox inquired, curious.

"Hehehe, the rumours say that Ailan, the idol diva, is a beautiful girl who can control people's hearts."

"At first, I thought it was an exaggeration, but..." Morgans glanced around, "These rumours are wrong! That woman is undoubtedly a real witch!"

Lox watched as Ailan, who had sent flying kisses to the audience, walked down from the stage.

"A witch, you say?" As Ailan left, the once-enthusiastic venue gradually cooled down.

"Hmm? What just happened? How could I have done something so embarrassing?!" Enel suddenly regained his senses and then looked incredulous.

"Was it that woman's doing? Dammit! She humiliated me like this! Damn it!"

Enel's face turned ferocious, and numerous pitch-black thunderclouds appeared above his head.

The roar of violent thunder sounded from within those dark clouds.

"Enel, focus on hosting. The event isn't over yet," Lox said calmly, looking at Enel.

"Huh? Oh, right!" Enel, who had initially wanted to refuse, saw Lox's increasingly cold expression and immediately showed a cheerful smile, resuming his role as the event host.

"Alright, ladies and gentlemen, let's now welcome the lovely and stylish lady known as the 'Moon Hunter,' the woman who pursues perfection, the incomparable fashionista, Catarina Butterfly!"

"Hehehe, it's truly an incredibly lively event. It's the first time so many people have looked at me!"
