Murloc Street

Under the guidance of the guards, Lux departed from Dragon Palace City and took a fast-flowing shuttle to the darkest streets of Fishman Island.

Fishman Street, originally the largest orphanage on Fishman Island, eventually devolved into the darkest and most chaotic street due to mismanagement.

Violence and bloodshed abound here. Various criminal groups gather here. At the same time, this is also where the Fishman gangs that hold animosity towards ordinary humans on the entire Fishman Island gather.

Whether it's the Arlong Pirates or the Hody Jones Gang, they all originated here. Different factions also engage in fights on this street almost daily. The conflict has almost become the daily melody of this street.

However, Fishman Street also breeds strong individuals. Both Fisher Tiger and Jinbe originated on Fishman Street.

At this moment on Fishman Street, there was a blue-skinned, whirlwind-browed, and sideburned Fishman with a topknot hairstyle, a thick black beard on his chin, a lightning-like scar at the corner of his left eye, a prominent figure, two huge teeth in his lower jaw, wearing a patterned yukata and Japanese wooden clogs, and holding a smoking pipe in his mouth.

This whale shark Fishman was standing on a Fishman while crossing his arms. The pipe in his mouth kept emitting white smoke.

"Hmph, Kay, it's not your turn to speak on Fishman Street yet. Even though Big Brother Tiger is gone, I, Jinbe, am still here.

If you're smart, stay obediently in your territory. Do you hear me?" Jinbe looked down at Kay, his tone unpleasant as he warned fiercely.

"Hehehe, of course, now Jinbe is the boss of Fishman Street. Don't be a troublemaker, Kay!" A blue shark Fishman behind Jinbe crouched by Kay's head, mocking.

"But, damn it! Arlong! You bastard! I won't let you go, you—" Kay stared fiercely at Arlong, full of discontent. If it weren't for Jinbe's appearance, he would've beaten Arlong to death long ago.

"Hehehehe, don't like it, Kay? But even if you don't like it, keep it to yourself. Big Brother Jinbe has got my back!" Jinbe glanced at Arlong, then moved his foot away from Kay's head.

"Let's go, Arlong. Stir less trouble from now on!" Jinbe called out to Arlong and left without looking back. "Hehehahaha got it, Big Brother Jinbe!" Arlong laughed arrogantly and caught up with Jinbe's figure.

Watching Jinbe and Arlong gradually disappear, Kay struggled to sit up from the ground. "Damn Arlong, damn Jinbe! Sooner or later, I'll kill you both!" Kay's anger burned within him. Arlong had caused trouble first and brought people to attack his territory.

But because his strength was weak, he had to call his big brother Jinbe after being beaten. Facing a monster like Jinbe, the consequences for Kay were evident. Struggling to stand, Kay slowly woke up his unconscious subordinates individually.

"Ah!"

"Ouch, ouch, damn Jinbe!" Under Kay's calls, his subordinates woke up slowly. For a while, moans and groans echoed above the street.

When Lux, under the escort of guards, had just arrived at Fishman Street, the scene Lux saw was more than ten Fishmen sitting on the ground groaning.

Jinbe, with his little brother Arlong, strolled back to his residence. Upon entering the house, Jinbe immediately began to scold Arlong without hesitation.

"Arlong, how many times have I told you, don't get into trouble! Every time you cause trouble, isn't Tiger Big Brother and me who clean up after you?"

"Have you forgotten Tiger Big Brother's instructions when he left?" Arlong impatiently interrupted Jinbe's rambling. "I remember! How could I forget Brother Tiger's words? I've been protecting Fishman Street all this time!"

Seeing Arlong sit on the sofa, poking at his ear, his face showing impatience, Jinbe sighed helplessly. "Whatever. Arlong, there's news that a group of powerful pirates has arrived on Fishman Island. Don't go causing trouble, you hear me?"

Jinbe instructed Arlong and left the house directly, heading deeper into Fishman Street. He still had many things to attend to today. If Arlong hadn't returned battered, Jinbe would have finished his tasks already.

Half an hour after Jinbe left his home, Lux's doorstep, under the escort of guards, arrived at Jinbe's. The guards sensibly knocked on the door. Before long, the door opened, and Arlong, looking annoyed, walked out of the house.

"Who's there? I'm swamped right now..." When Arlong saw the guards dressed in Dragon Palace City soldier uniforms, he was somewhat surprised.

After all, there weren't many thugs who wouldn't feel nervous seeing the police or something similar.

"What, what's going on? Have I caused any major trouble recently?" Arlong stuttered nervously as he looked at the guards. The guard glanced at Arlong and didn't say much.

For most residents of Fishman Street, Arlong's kind of person was well understood. "Is Jinbe at home? We're looking for Jinbe." The guard directly stated their purpose.

Upon hearing that they weren't looking for trouble with him, Arlong breathed a sigh of relief. But upon hearing that they were looking for Jinbe, Arlong's nervousness returned.

"Big Brother Jinbe isn't here. What do you want with him?" Seeing Arlong slightly on guard, the guard was at a loss.

"It's not our kingdom's military looking for him; it's Lord Lux who's looking for Jinbe." Finally, with the guard's gaze, Arlong looked toward Lux, who was immersed in bubbles not far away.

"Human!" The moment Arlong saw Lux, he suddenly became ferocious. His eyes, filled with bloodshot veins, stared at Lux, and his chest heaved violently. "Dirty human waste! Who allowed you to enter Fishman Street? Get the hell out of here!"

Arlong's angry words spread throughout the nearby streets and alleys. Countless Fishman Street residents slowly opened their doors and left their houses. They all held weapons, their faces filled with anger and hostility.

Seeing this, the guard panicked. "What, what are you trying to do? Don't move recklessly! The person in front of you, Lord Lux, is a guest of Fishman Island!" However, the warnings from the guard were ignored by the Fishman residents.

For most residents of Fishman Street, "human" was synonymous with filth, cunning, and waste. In their hearts, humans were only associated with hatred and resentment.

After all, most of them had lost their parents at a young age because of humans before coming to Fishman Street. Lux glanced at the approaching Fishman Street residents, his expression unchanged.

"Where is Jinbe? I'm here to find him. If you don't want to die, return to your houses quietly." Lux spoke calmly to the approaching Fishman residents.

"Hmph!" With a cold snort, accompanied by a raging Emperor's Haki, it instantly swept through all the Fishmen present except for Arlong.

"Plunk."

"Plunk." All the Fishmen were foaming at the mouth; their eyes rolled white as they fell to the ground. Arlong stood trembling, his gaze terrified, looking at Lux, who remained calm under his feet.

Fishman Street residents around them stood in shock, staring at the scene in disbelief. Arlong stood motionless, looking at Lux, his body trembling.

Finally, Lux spoke, calm and assertive, "Jinbe is where? I've come to find him. Tell me if you don't want to meet the same fate."

Arlong hesitated momentarily before finally pointing in the direction of Jinbe's house. Lux nodded and walked past Arlong, heading towards Jinbe's house.

As Lux entered the house, the other Fishman Street residents lay unconscious on the ground, their expressions blank.

Arlong stood still before finally collapsing; his mind filled with fear and awe for the powerful human before him. Lux found Jinbe and began to discuss matters concerning Fishman Island.
