Giants

The Straw Hats had docked on the island that they now knew was named 'Little Garden' and were now getting ready to disembark.

*AWOOOO* *CAW CAW* *BOOOOM*

"I think I'll guard the ship!" Usopp yelled out after hearing the noises coming from the island, making Luffy laugh.

"Shishishi!! Okay! That means Nami is coming with me!!" Luffy said making Nami snap her head in his direction.

"Why the hell would I come with you?!" Nami shouted out, making Luffy look at her like she was an idiot, making her eyebrow twitch.

"Because Usopp is guarding the ship, Vivi is coming with me, and Zoro and Sanji are doing some hunting contest thing. You might as well come with me and Vivi so we don't get lost." Luffy said while nodding at Zoro and Sanji who were heading off in opposite directions, Vivi filling up Karoo's water bottle, and Usopp who was nowhere to be seen, which Nami sighed and nodded at.

"Alright, fine. Just let me grab some of my mapping stuff." She said to which Luffy nodded with a smile before he looked at Vivi's duck.

"Hey, Karoo!!" Luffy shouted out as he ran over to the duck who looked up at him and blinked. Luffy grinned at the animal.

"Can you fly?" He asked making Karoo slump down in depression.

'I can only glide down, I can't fly.' Luffy heard a squeaky voice in his head which made him nod in understanding.

"I see. Gliding, huh?" Luffy said as he comforted the sad duck. Vivi watched their interaction incredulously. Nami, who just came back outside, just put a hand on her shoulder with a blank face.

"Yes, he did just talk to your duck. Yes, he can talk to animals. Just go with it, we don't get it either." Nami said getting a slow nod from the blue-haired girl. They jumped a bit when Luffy suddenly threw his arms in the air and shouted.

"Yosh!! I smell adventure!!"

"Yahoo!!!"

Luffy could be seen sliding down the neck of a brontosaurus. Right before he got to the end of the long neck, he used 'Moon-Walk' to launch himself back to the top.

Luffy grinned at the brontosaurus that glanced at him after he landed on his head before going back to his meal of tree leaves.

"Luffy!!! Get down, it's dangerous!!" Vivi shouted from her spot on the ground, worried the dinosaurs could turn aggressive. She felt a hand on her shoulder and turned to Nami who looked utterly exhausted.

"Trust me, Vivi, he'll be fine. Don't waste your energy worrying about him when he's doing something like this." Nami said in a dead tone as someone who had already experienced way too much because of her easily excitable Captain.

Luffy completely ignored the two on the ground as he looked around. He grinned when he saw a brontosaurus that was much bigger than the others with scars on its forehead.

He used 'Shave' to get on the big one's head. Luffy smiled when the dinosaur glared up at him as soon as he landed on his head.

Luffy went to slide down the dinosaur's neck, but he sensed an attack coming right for it just as he jumped up.

Luffy disappeared in the air and reappeared in front of Nami, Vivi, and Karoo in a ready stance.

*FWOOOM*

*BOOOM*

They all saw a massive blue compressed air slash cut the head off the dinosaur and leave a massive trench in the ground, before it finally slammed into one of the two massive animal skeletons on the island, shaking the skeleton and the entire island. Luffy grinned in the direction of the attack

'There was 'Armament Haki' in that attack!!' Luffy thought to himself in joy.

His joy grew exponentially when he heard a loud funny-sounding laughter followed by the ground shaking with what sounded like massive footsteps.

"Gegyagyagya!!!"

Luffy, Nami, and Vivi saw a massive hand pull the trees and bushes out of the way before he saw the largest person he had ever seen smiling right at him.

Karoo already fainted when he saw the massive attack.

"Yo, little one!! I saw you before on that Brontosaurus, it was quite the show!! Thanks for distracting that big one!! Gegyagyagya!!!" The giant laughed heartily, which shook the surrounding area. Luffy laughed along with him.

"Shishishishi!! Their necks are fun to slide down!!!" Luffy laughed for a minute with the massive man before he jumped up and landed on the massive outstretched hand before looking up at the big guy.

Luffy smiled as wide as he could and could feel the tug of that rope, the burn of that fire as he introduced himself.

"Yo, big guy!! I'm Monkey D. Luffy and I'm going to be the Pirate King!! Who are you?!" He shouted out because he didn't know if the big dude could hear him or not. The giant laughed again when he heard the little one in his hand and felt the small amount of 'Conqueror's Haki' come from the little man.

"Gegyagyagya!!! You're a pirate? I used to be a pirate a long time ago!! Nice to meet you, Luffy!! I'm Dorry, the strongest warrior of 'Elbaf'!!!"

Usopp was frozen with sweat pouring off of him as he looked up at the massive man looking down at him with a confused smile as he scratched his head.

"Did you hear me, little one? I asked if you got any booze on that ship." The giant said in a booming voice that shook Usopp out of his stupor, even if that same voice was what froze him in the first place.

Usopp took a deep breath to calm down before realizing he wanted to talk to this giant.

Vivi had told them about how the reason this place was called 'Little Garden' was because there were two giants that lived on the island that was covered in thick forests and fierce animals. These two made the normally ferocious island like a 'Little Garden' to them.

These giants sounded very interesting to Usopp, given they didn't try to kill him. Because of this, once he calmed down, Usopp gave the giant a massive smile and pointed back towards the kitchen.

"Yeah, we got a whole barrel of it! In exchange, can you tell me about what it's like being a giant?" Usopp asked, getting a hearty laugh in response.

"Gababababa!! That sounds like fun, tiny human!! Let's go back to my camp to cook the meat I just caught!" Usopp smiled at the answer, happy this giant seemed to be friendly. He was about to jump over to the giant with the barrel of booze before he stopped suddenly, making the giant look at him questioningly.

"Sorry, but I have to guard our ship so I can't come..." Usopp trailed off as the giant just laughed.

"Gabababa!! Don't worry, little one!! It is only myself, another giant, and the wild animals on this island. No one could steal your ship." The giant explained to which Usopp smiled before using 'Moon-Walk' to get onto the giant's shoulder, who grinned at him. Usopp grinned back.

"I'm Usopp, the sniper of the 'Straw Hat Pirates'! Who are you, big guy?" Usopp asked getting another hearty laughter from the giant.

"Gabababa!! You're a pirate you say? I used to be a pirate back in the day!! Nice to meet you, Usopp! I'm Brogy, the strongest warrior of 'Elbaf'!!!"

Both groups could be seen eating, laughing, and partying just a couple hundred meters apart.

Luffy, Nami, and Vivi were telling Dorry about what's happening in 'Alabasta' on the right while Usopp told Brogy about his and his friend's journey.

*BOOOOOM!!!!*

Both giants' faces immediately switch from joyful to the utmost seriousness. Nami and Vivi looked at Dorry with worry, something Usopp mirrored when he saw Brogy's face.

"Well, it's that time." "Well, it's that time."

They both said simultaneously as they stood up and grabbed their weapons after slamming all the booze and meat that was left. Both Giants looked at their new friends and simultaneously spoke again.

"I'm sorry, my new friends, but I must go. I have something I need to do."

"I'm sorry, my new friend, but I must go. I have something I need to do."

Both Giants turned towards the center of the island and charged.

*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*

Everyone could hear the second pair of massive footsteps that made Nami and Vivi fearfully hug each other. Luffy and Usopp on the other hand were watching with stars in their eyes.

Those stars shined brighter when they sensed the two Giants apply 'Armament Haki' to their respective sword and axe as they planted their feet, causing a shockwave from the force, and swung their weapons as soon as they made eye contact, both having massive smiles on their faces.

"Hakoku!!" "Hakoku!!"

Two massive compressed air slashes were launched out, one red and one blue, destroying countless trees and bushes in their way.

*BOOOOOOM!!!!!*

The identical attacks collided and created a massive shockwave that kicked up a huge dust cloud.

Brogy came rushing out of the dust cloud swinging his axe covered in 'Armament Haki' with a massive smile on his face.

*DING!!!*

Dorry blocked the attack with his shield covered in 'Armament Haki', before countering with his sword.

*BOOOOM!!!!*

The massive sword slammed into Brogy's shield, pushing him back a little bit, which was actually around fifty meters.

Luffy had sensed Usopp talking with the other giant earlier, so after telling Nami and Vivi where he was going, he used 'Shave' to disappear from there and reappear next to Usopp, who jumped and scrambled for his slingshot, which made Luffy laugh.

"Shishishishi!!! It's just me, Usopp! Come over here with me. Me, Nami, and Vivi made friends with the giant fighting the one you made friends with." Luffy explained to which his sniper nodded with a smile once he realized who it was and heard what he said.

The two of them go back to the two girls who are still hugging each other in fear. Luffy laughed at that as they had both begged him to stay in tears when he said he was going to find Usopp. The two girls jumped at the laughter and both hastily pulled out their weapons which made Luffy laugh harder.

"Shishishishi!! Usopp, look! They're both like you! Shishishishishi!!!!" Luffy was holding his stomach in laughter as Usopp tried to hide his embarrassment and the two girls glared at Luffy.

"I-it w-was just m-my e-enhanced reflexes!!" Usopp stuttered out, which just made Luffy laugh even harder. That ended when he got two punches to the head.

*BOOM* *BOOM*

"STOP DOING SHIT LIKE THAT!!!" "DON'T SCARE US LIKE THAT!!!"

Luffy was holding the two big, red, smoking lumps on his head in pain as Nami and Vivi shouted at him.

'How the hell does Vivi's punch hurt too? Neither of them knows 'Haki'!!' Luffy thought to himself in confusion.

"Hakoku!!" "Hakoku!!"

*BOOOOOOOM!!!!!*

Thankfully, he was spared from more scolding as a massive shockwave shook the island from the collision of the giant's final attacks. Nami and Vivi would've been blown away if Luffy hadn't grabbed them by the waist. Usopp was sent face-first into the dirt.

*BOOM!!* *BOOM!!*

They all looked up to see Dorry and Brogy punching each other in the face before falling simultaneously.

"73,466 duels," "73,466 duels,"

*BOOM* *BOOM*

"73,466 draws." "73,466 draws."

The four walked over to the tired giants. Luffy and Usopp we're looking at them in admiration, Nami still in fear, and Vivi now in a mixture of fear and confusion.

"Dorry, you should come meet the little human I met earlier. He gave me booze!!" Brogy said to his friend, who laughed in response.

"Gegyagyagya!! That's funny, Brogy!! I was going to say you should come meet my little human friends I met earlier who have great meat!!" Dorry said surprising Brogy.

One human making it past the dangerous animals on the island wasn't too crazy, a few had done so before they starved, but a group of people? In this part of the 'Grand Line'?

They definitely weren't normal sailors.

Luffy and the others got near the giants, making the two look over and grin at them. Luffy and Usopp grinned back.

"Yo, other giant! I'm Monkey D. Luffy and I'm going to be the Pirate King!! Usopp said you were pretty cool like Dorry." Luffy said introduced himself with a smile, making Brogy smile back.

"Nice to meet you, Luffy. I'm Brogy, the strongest warrior of 'Elbaf'!!" Brogy shouted out, getting a punch to the face from Dorry.

*WHAM*

"The hell did you say?! That's me!!"

*WHAM*

"No way in hell!! You still can't beat me!!"

*BOOM*

"Shishishishi!! You guys are funny!!"

The giants were cut off from their fighting by Luffy's laughter. The two looked down at him to see him smiling up at them.

"Let's have a banquet!!!"

"So, have there been any other people who came here that were interesting?" Luffy asked Dorry as he ate his chunk of meat.

Usopp was on Brogy's shoulder, listening to stories of the warriors and the way of life of 'Elbaf'. Nami and Vivi were just silently eating on either side of Luffy.

Nami was quiet because she was still terrified of the giants while Vivi was quiet because she didn't agree with their way of life and how they viewed fighting.

How could you fight your best friend for a hundred years every day when you don't even remember the reason you're fighting?

When she quietly asked Luffy this question, he blinked at her twice before saying something that she had been thinking about since.

"They are fighting for their pride. Their pride is to them what the safety of the people of 'Alabasta' is to you. You can't give it up no matter what."

She had been silent ever since, just quietly thinking about what she had been through and what she still had to go through to ensure her country's safety.

When she looks at it like that, she can start to understand fighting every day for a hundred years. But not if you don't remember the reason.

"Other people? Hmm…" Dorry stopped eating and put his hand to his chin in thought. After a minute of thinking, he snapped his fingers and lit up with a smile.

"There were those two that were here a few years ago. The one was a really good doctor and his friend wasn't too bad either, so in exchange for healing me and Brogy up after our fights every day so we could go crazy, we taught them how to use both forms of 'Haki'. They said they were going to 'Drum Kingdom' before they left." Dorry explained before going back to his meat.

The story made Luffy break out in a massive smile. A doctor would be great for his crew and they are probably pretty cool if Dorry and Brogy trained them.

"You said 'Drum Kingdom'? Do you know where that is?" Luffy asked before looking at Nami after the giant shrugged, who was more likely to have the answer. She smiled at him before answering.

"'Drum Kingdom' is a winter island that is said to have the best doctors in the world. It's also the next island is our route. I just read about it while we were on our way here." Nami said getting a massive smile out of Luffy before he turned to see Brogy and Usopp looking at him.

"Gabababa!! You all should come to visit 'Elbaf' someday after we finish our fight. We'll go back there and tell everyone there about you." Brogy said as Dorry nodded along. Luffy grinned up at the two and nodded before he ate the rest of his meat in one bite. He looked around and pouted when he saw no more meat.

Luffy suddenly remembered what Zoro and Sanji were up to and shot up from his seat with a massive smile. Nami and Vivi, who were on either side of him, looked at him in confusion. He smiled at them when he sensed that before explaining. 

"Let's go find Zoro and Sanji. They're doing some kind of hunting contest thing to prove who's dick is bigger or something. I don't really get it, but I'm pretty sure they'll have a bunch of meat we can get Sanji to cook for us." Luffy explained getting laughs and nods out of the two girls. Luffy looked over to his sniper who was on Brogy's shoulder, laughing away.

"Hey, Usopp!!" He yelled out, getting his sniper's attention.

"You can sense where Sanji is, right?" He asked getting a nod from Usopp. Luffy smiled at him.

"We are gonna go get Zoro on the other side of the island, can you go get Sanji? They both should have a bunch of meat from their hunting contest thing and I want Sanji to cook for us." Luffy asked to which Usopp smiled and nodded before disappearing using 'Shave'.

Luffy smiled at the sight before placing his hands on Nami and Vivi's shoulders before using 'Shave' to go get their wayward swordsman.

"Gabababa!! These tiny humans are funny, aren't they, Dorry?! Strong too!!" Brogy said as he ate some more meat with Dorry nodding at his words and laughing along with him.

"Gegyagya!! You're right, Brogy!! The one with the straw hat can even eat as much as us with such a small body!!" Dorry laughed out. Brogy nodded before looking a bit confused.

"That's true!! But, didn't Luffy's words just now sound familiar? About the hunting contest?" Brogy asked making Dorry blink twice.

Before Dorry was able to respond, they both sensed someone who wasn't one of their new friends appear in between Brogy's left foot and Dorry's right foot.

They both looked to see a weird guy with he has a top knot in the shape of the number '3'. He also wears glasses and has neatly combed hair aside from the odd design.

"Candle Lock!!!"

Wax rapidly flowed out of the odd-looking man's hand and hardened around the giant's feet, legs, and torso before he could react.

They both covered his arms in 'Armament Haki' and went to punch the wax off, but Mr. 3 used 'Shave' to get to the Brogy's head, placing his hands on it before either giant could stop him.

"Candle Strangle"

"BROGY!!!!"

Wax quickly covered Brogy's head, making Dorry let out a shout of outrage that slightly shook the island.

Before Mr. 3 could try to cover the other giant in wax, he felt someone grab his shoulder so tight it felt like it would rip off.

"Oi"

Mr. 3 broke out in a cold sweat as he sensed with his 'Observation Haki' how crazy strong the people behind him were.

He slowly turned around to see the 'Straw Hat Luffy', the pirate his boss had warned him about, the Vice-Captain of their crew 'Pirate Hunter Zoro', that honestly scared him more than the Captain with how terrifying he looked, two of more his crew mates behind him, and the princess he was ordered to kill if he saw her.

Every single one of them was glaring at him like he just killed all their families.

Mr. 3 took pride in the fact that not many knew him. This is because it's easier to get the jump on people if they don't know about his devil fruit, the 'Doru-Doru no mi'.

Even if they have the monstrous strength of the giants, if they get stuck in his wax, they can't use that strength.

That's why he took the job to catch the giants with large bounties for funding so eagerly from the boss, it was a task practically made for him.

Mr. 3 knew it would be a bit troublesome to try and catch someone like 'Straw-Hat Luffy', who was able to make even Mr. 0 careful, so the goal was to try to catch one of his crewmates and catch him by threatening their lives.

But, that plan was not for right now. The plan to catch the giants for their surprisingly large bounties was completely separate.

Mr. 3 had no idea the 'Straw Hat Pirates' had even landed on 'Little Garden'.

But as he felt the vice-grip on his shoulder, the glares drilling into his skull, and sensed the unbelievable amount of 'Armament Haki' behind him, he realized he should've paid closer attention to who was on the island before he made his move.

At the very least, he should try to sense everything on the damn island before he did.

"Divine One-Sword Style..."

Mr. 3 tried to turn around and encase the pirates and princess in wax quickly, but Luffy unsheathed his cutlass much faster than the wax man could ever hope to move.

Mr. 3 instinctually covered his body in a layer of wax for protection when he sensed the terrifying attack with his 'Observation Haki', but it would all be in vain.

"Divine Flaming Wave!!!"

*HISSSS*

*BOOOM!!* 

A massive flaming compressed air slash cut and burned Mr. 3 and melted his wax defenses, letting out a hissing sound, before he was launched back.

The last thing Mr. 3 thought to himself before he went unconscious was along the lines of 'Where the hell is Ms. Goldenweek?!'

*BOOOOM*

Luffy glared at the unconscious form of the wax guy for a few seconds before turning back to the two giants still partially encased in wax. He sheathed his cutlass before he stretched both his arms back

"Gomu-Gomu no Twin Pistol!!"

*BOOM* *BOOM* *CRACK* *CRACK*

Luffy's punches cracked the wax holding down the two giants, allowing them to pull themselves out with pure physical strength. Luffy frowned at the giants as they pulled the wax off of themselves now that their hands and legs were free.

"Sorry, guys. I sensed that guy earlier, I should've just gone and beaten him up. I came back as fast as I could once I sensed what was going on." Luffy said apologetically, getting two hearty laughs in return.

"Gabababa!! Don't worry about it!! Thank you for the help, little one!! I promise on our names as warriors of 'Elbaf', we will help you when you need it most." Brogy laughed as he rubbed his sore wrists.

"Gyagyagya!! Brogy is right!! Let me repay you with a feast!!" Dorry shouted out, getting Brogy to slam his forehead into his.

"No, I'll repay them with a feast!! You cook like shit anyway!!" Brogy shouted making Dorry glare back at him. They were cut off by Luffy's laughing.

"Shishishishi!!! Let's just have a big feast with everyone!!"

"Woah!! 'Elbaf' sounds so cool!!" Luffy and Usopp shouted out with stars in their eyes, making the two giants laugh as they munched on the dinosaur meat.

"Gabababa!! You should come to visit sometime!!" Brogy said with Dorry nodding along.

"Brogy is right!! It's full of fighting and meat!!" Dorry said getting Luffy to swear in his mind he would eventually go to the island of giant food.

Oh, and other giants.

Luffy looked over to the trees to see Zoro being led over to them by Nami and Vivi while Usopp and Sanji seemed to be talking about something as the two of them were walking over.

Both Zoro and Sanji were dragging massive dinosaurs while arguing about which one was bigger.

"This one is bigger for sure!!"

"No, it's not, you damn Swirly-Brow!!"

"What was that, Moss-Head?!"

Their argument was cut off by Luffy who appeared in between the two, making them scoff at each other before looking at their Captain. Luffy smiled wide at them.

"Sanji, come cook those two you guys caught!! We're having a banquet with Giants!!" Luffy said getting the two to look where their Captain came from.

They saw two massive Giants with Usopp on the shoulder of one of them. Nami and Vivi were sitting on a fallen tree, eating a normal amount of meat.

The two raised an eyebrow before sharing a glance before they both shrugged and dragged their prey to the fire.

After partying for a while, the sound of a den-den mushi sounded.

*Purururu* *Purururu*

They all looked to Sanji, who took out a den-den mushi none of them had seen before. The cook smirked at the snail as he pulled it out.

"I found this in some kind of house made out of wax in the forest." He explained making everyone but him and Zoro widen their eyes in recognition.

Sanji raised an eyebrow at this before shrugging and answering the call.

*Pururu-GACHA*

"You've reached the shitty restaurant, what the hell do you want?"

The snail had a cigar in its mouth and its eyebrow twitched when the man on the other side heard Sanji.

"Stop fucking around, Mr. 3. It's Mr. 0." A deep voice sounded from the snail, shocking all but the confused Giants, who stayed quiet at Usopp's shushing.

Sanji smirked when he heard this, but before he could even try to trick who he knew was one of the 'Seven Warlords of The Sea', Luffy snatched the microphone from his hand.

"You've reached the shitty restaurant, what the hell do you want?"

"Stop messing around, Mr. 3. It's Mr. 0."

In a dark room, a den-den mushi could be seen on a desk. The snail had a swirled eyebrow and a cigarette in its mouth.

There was a man hidden in the dark talking into the microphone who had a golden hook where his left hand would be and a lit cigar in his mouth.

The man hidden in the dark was about to continue before he heard some kind of commotion.

"Oi, What the hell are you doing?!"

"Gimme the snail!!"

The man felt his eyebrow twitch as he heard another voice over the snail before the snail's appearance changed to a wide smile with a scar under its eye.

"Yo!! Is this that Crocodile guy? You sound pretty weak!!" The now-named Crocodile glared at the den-den mushi, pissed off at how someone knew it was him and that he didn't know who it was that knew him.

Most of all was that some no-name called him weak, he couldn't have that.

"Who are you? Where's Mr. 3?" The Warlord asked in a calm but furious tone. The snail seemed to smile even wider at the questions.

"You mean the wax guy? I sent him flying, no idea where he ended up. Also, I'm Monkey D. Luffy and I'm going to be the King of The Pirates!!!" The voice shouted out, making Crocodile bite through his cigar in anger and his knuckles turn white from how hard he was gripping the microphone.

"You don't know what the hell you're talking about, you damn ignorant rookie!! You're helping the Princess, aren't you?" Crocodile asked getting a glare from the snail.

"Hell yeah, I'm helping Vivi!! I'm gonna kick your ass for what you're doing to her country!!! Just wait for me in 'Alabasta', I'm already on my way!!" The snail shouted, getting a laugh and a cold glare from the Warlord. 

"HaHaHaHa!!! Come, you damn rookie!! I'll show you what a real pirate is!!"
