Chapter 3: Meeting an okama
"Your attacks are too predictable." Complained Zoro.
"Tsk…what about this." Vivi launched her peacock slashers forward, Zoro moved to one side to avoid them but then Vivi twisted her hand and made the wire change direction.
Zoro was slightly surprised but reacted quickly, blocking the sharp jewels with the sheath of his sword.
"A bit better. Let's continue." Said Zoro.
"Can we take a break? we have been sparing for an hour already." Said Vivi with difficulty. She was not used to that much physical activity.
Zoro raised an eyebrow. "Tired already?.... Well, I guess I could use a drink."
"And eat too, I'm so hungry! " Said, Vivi.
"Luffy!" Sanji was heard screaming.
Zoro and Vivi turned to see what the commotion was about.
"Can you explain to me how we lost the rations that I had saved for our trip to Arabasta? we should still have food for at least a week! and it's all gone!."
"There's no more food? but there are still two days to arrive." Said Vivi.
"Well?" Said Sanji while looking at Luffy, expectantly.
Luffy was trying hard to avoid looking at Sanji in his eyes.
"I don't know…"
"At least look at me. Oh? there is something around your mouth." Sanji pointed out.
"Leftovers?." Exclaimed Luffy before covering his mouth.
"I knew it! it was you!." Yelled Sanji.
"No no!. Usopp and Chopper helped me out!." Exclaimed Luffy while running away from Sanji.
"Ey!, don't sell us out!." Yelled Usopp, who had just arrived accompanied by Nami and Chopper.

While Sanji was forcing the 'culprits' to start fishing for some food. Nami approached Vivi.
"Say Vivi. What else can you tell us about the situation of Arabasta?." Asked Nami.
"umm, let's see." Vivi looked thoughtful.
She had some fragmented memories of the previous Vivi, but most of those were from before Crocodile arrived there and started to mess things up.
'I'll need to use whatever I remember from reading the manga…'
"The country is on the brink of civil war. This was caused by Crocodile who spread lies about my father and turned the people against the royal family, creating a separatist faction that views him as some sort of hero."
"So, as long as we beat up this Crocodile guy, the problem will be solved, right?." Asked Luffy, who was listening from the side.
"There is more to that, but as long as we can stop him and drive the Baroque Works out of Arabasta, there is a good chance to stop the revolt before it starts." Said Vivi.
"How strong is this Crocodile?" Asked Zoro.
"He should be very strong. He is one of the Shichibukai." Said Vivi.
"Shichibukai?, like Dracule Mihawk?. Can we defeat someone like that?." Said Zoro with obvious worry in his voice.
Vivi knew where He was coming from. It would be impossible for the current Strawhat pirates to defeat someone like him or any other of the Sichibukais.
"They are not all equally strong when it comes to combat. They are all pirates who had done some great contributions to the Marines and then were given a title that comes with a lot of restrictions. If they knew that Crocodiles is trying to take over a country, the World Government would be forced to intervene and remove him from his position." Explained Vivi
"Wait, then why haven't the Marines helped your country?." Asked Usopp in confusion.
Vivi noticed Nami giving a sad smile.
"Bribery…Crocodile probably has the Marines in charge of that area in his pocket so they would look the other way." It was Nami the one who answered and they looked at her with understanding on their faces. That was the same thing that happened on her island.
"That was my guess too." Said Vivi.
"Well, worry not! My dear Lady Vivi. We will make sure to save Arabasta." Exclaimed Sanji.

The night before arriving in Arabasta.
Vivi was once again having strange dreams, but this time they were mostly focused on the mysterious room with the blue door. There was something in that room calling for her.
By the time she woke up, there was a big commotion outside.
'What's going on?'
She heard Luffy and the others talking with someone else. A voice that was somehow familiar but new.
Once she opened the door and went outside she saw Bonclay showing his ability to the Strawhat crew.
'Oh!, I remember this. Is best to stay back, I don't want him to spot me.'
"This is my power!" The new voice said in a loud manner.
Bonclay changed his face into Luffy's.
"Luffy!" She heard several of her friends yell.
"Surprised?, if I just touch your face with my right hand I can copy it," Bonclay said before proceeding to copy the faces of the crew members and then proceeded to show them.
"This is the power of my ability." He then showed a few more faces including the King of Arabasta and Vivi's father among others.
"Isn't that your ship? " Said Nami while pointing out.
"Oh? is time to leave already? too bad." Said Bonclay.
"Do not be sad my babies! separation is inevitable, never forget me! The length of time means nothing to true friendship."
Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper were looking at Bonclay with a shine in their eyes. They were obviously very taken with their new acquaintance.
"Well see you again!." Yelled Luffy and Chopper, who seemed very sad to see their new friend go.
After jumping back on his ship, Bonclay said.
"Let us go lovies!"
"Yes sir!, Mr.2 Bonclay sir!." His crew yelled with enthusiasm.
"What?!." Exclaimed the Strawhat crew.
"That was Mr.2?." Said Nami.
"Didn't you recognize him, Vivi?." Asked Luffy.
"Sorry. I have never met the higher-up members of Baroque Works." Said Vivi. Which was half true, to be honest. She has never met them in person even if she knew what they look like. And Mr.2 is a nice guy, so there was no harm in letting him go for now.
"That was quite a dangerous ability. And He has all off our faces recorded now." Zoro pointed out.
"Yes, and one of the faces that He showed was my father, King Nefertari Cobra." Said Vivi.
Most of them understood immediately the danger that an ability like that could pose.
"If He can pose as the King…that could be really bad." Said Nami with obvious worry on her face.
"It seems like we let a dangerous guy get away." Said Usopp.
"Well, He seemed like a nice guy to me. Im, sure He wouldn't do anything bad." Said Luffy while Chopper nodded his head in agreement.
"Even if He is. He still works for Crocodile, and we don't know what He may have said to the rest of the higher members. Maybe they all think that the King is evil and they are actually helping save the country by starting a revolt." Explained Vivi.
Luffy and Chopper seemed to come to a realization after this and now looked more worried.
"We have another problem. What if He tries to copy one of us? We would not be able to trust each other." Said Nami.
"Well, at least now we have time to think of a countermeasure," Zoro said.
