Chapter 233: The last visit

"Oh, before you go. Can you tell me what's going on outside? There are a lot more people and noise than usual." asked Vivi, trying to get a bit more information.

"Two times per year, the Doflamingo family hosts a tournament at the coliseum at very expensive prices. Fighters from all over the place come here to participate and it attracts a lot of attention. The event is also broadcast with visual snails so everyone can watch. Is the biggest event on Dressrosa."

"What could they offer as a price that would attract people from other islands to come here and participate?." She knew that it could not be the fire logia since Ace was still alive but she was wondering what kind of treasure would be offered this time.

"All sorts of things. Gold coins, weapons, or even devil fruits have been given as prices a few times. But usually, those are won by the Doflamingo family…oh, this time is a big one!" Viola seemed to recall something.

"Big one?"

"What does the fruit look like?" Vivi was getting a bad feeling. A logia falling into the wrong hands could be very bad news.

"Umm…I never saw it myself but I heard that it looked like a blue pineapple with black spirals on its surface."

Vivi froze at hearing this. She knew this fruit. She had seen the drawings in her previous life and like the rest of her memories, the image had been permanently burned into her mind.

"When does this tournament start?" She said with urgency.

"In two hours, why?"  Viola noticed the change in her attitude

"Don't worry about it, I was just a bit curious, that's all. " Vivi tried to shrug it off but her face was still showing worry.

Viola gave Givi a concerned look, not understanding why she was interested in something like a tournament in a situation like hers.

"Okay… I will try to visit you again later. "

After the woman left the room, Vivi started to consider her next action.

'I need to get my hands on that fruit no matter how…if they don't let me participate in the arena, I'll just have to steal it. I can't let anyone gain that ability…'

She looked down at herself.

'I'll need to get some clothes first And also change my looks. I can't walk around like myself, everyone is going to be looking for a girl with blue hair.'

The door was slammed open with a loud banging noise.

"Does no one knock today? What if I was peeing?" Vivi huffed in annoyance. The room didn't have a toilet so she only had one of those big jars that people used back in the day.

'Good thing I haven't been using that because Doflamingo has probably destroyed it…that would have been unpleasant. '

A very large woman with a plump upper body and skinny legs stormed into the room.

She had orange hair and was wearing a tight purple dress and pointy glasses that accentuated her ugly facial features.

"You!. You harlot!" The large woman scowled and pointed her fat finger at Vivi.

"I'm a what now?" Vivi was confused. She had never seen this woman before. Why was she so angry with her?

"What did you do to the Young Master?!."

"Who are you?, Shouldn't you introduce yourself at least?" Vivi asked.

"Hmph! , for your information, I am the beautiful Giolla!. One of Trevols officers and the most talented artist in all the New World!" The large woman declared with pride.

"I see…very humble as well." Vivi looked at the woman without much interest. Her concerns were currently somewhere else.

"Silence!, You!…You!" Giolla was so furious with her that she was unable to articulate words.

"I may not be able to kill you for what you did. But I will punish you!, and when I get my hands on your friends, I will make them suffer, you can be sure of that. I will make you regret the day you had the insolence to offend the Donquixote family."

"Sure…you gave me your speech, can you get lost now,? I have things to do." Vivi requested politely.

"Pahh!"

Giolla slapped Vivi's check with a smooth and fast swing.

"That's going to cost you… " Said Vivi calmly.

"I told you I was going to punish you! And you will do nothing. With so many seastone cuffs around your body, you probably have the strength of a toddler at this point. I'm surprised you can even sit straight. But this is nothing, wait until I get my hands on those friends of yours. The young Master knows how to make his enemies suffer. None of them will have a quick death." Giolla chuckled.

Vivi extended her right arm to the side and a ball of water appeared in front of it. The ball then started to rotate, grow and change.

"You can use your ability?!, impossible. The seastone cuffs!" Giolla looked at Vivi with shock.

"These?, I removed the seastone from them a few minutes ago." The cuffs crumbled and fell from her body.

"Model 3…"

The water was compressed to form ice and then it changed its shape to create an elongated weapon.

"Shotgun."

The barrel of the weapon was aimed at the terrified woman.

"W-wait!, if you shoot that…everyone will come here!" She had not come here prepared to fight, there was no time to create her 'cloud art' to defend herself so she tried to gain some time.

Something that Vivi was not going to give her.

"That's fine by me." She pressed the trigger and a dozen small pellets made of ice came flying out of the barrel and impacted Giolla's face, creating a dozen small holes in her head before they came out from the back of her skull.

The weapon barely made a noise as it shot since it didn't use gunpowder to function The loudest noise came from the body of the large woman as she fell to the floor. But considering her size, the noise of her fall was extremely loud.

"There goes my quiet escape…."
