Chapter 160: Finally at Level 6
"Huh?, you brought some guests?...wait, is that who I think it is?!" A loud voice said.
As they passed through the door, they found themself in a huge room, and in the middle of it was a sweaty giant sitting down.
"This is Morley, a colleague of mine. She is the one who made this entire operation possible." Explained Inazuma.
"Wow, there is a giant here!" Exclaimed Luffy.
"Nice to meet you!" Said Nami.
Morley got her face close to Luffy.
"They have a resemblance." She spoke.
"What are you talking about? Have we met before?" Asked Luffy.
"She is probably talking about your father, Captain. Isn't he the leader of the Revolutionaries?" Commented Vivi.
"Oh…right." He doesn't think often about his father. "You guys must know him well then."
"Wait, your father is the leader of the revolutionary army? Monkey D. Dragon?" Buggy was shocked.
They all ignored the baffled clown and continued their conversation.
"Of course, we know him well enough. He is our beloved Supreme Commander. But we don't really meet that often." It was Inazuma the one who answered.
She then looked at Morley.
"How are things going?"
"As planned. I should reach Level 6 with one last push." Answered the giant.
"So, you are the one that can get us to Ace?" Asked Luffy.
Before the giant could answer, someone else entered the room.
"Luffy!" Someone came out running from a hole in the wall.
They all looked at the new arrival. It was a man with short pants and a blue jacket.
Luffy immediately recognized him. "Bon Chan!"
The two men went for a hug while the rest watched.
"That's Number 2, one of Crocodile's allies!." Remembered Nami.
"Right, he did become very friendly with Luffy and Usopp if I remember correctly. " Said Sanji.
"Oh, that reminds me!" Suddenly said Vivi. "I found Number 1 on the way here."
"He is still alive? After two years in the Level 4 hell?" Asked Bon Clay.
"Well…" Vivi looked away in embarrassment.
"Let me guess…you killed him?" Asked Sanji nonchalantly.
"My bad." Vivi scratched her hair.
"It's okay, we haven't spoken in a very long time…and He certainly did many terrible things…was it at least a quick death?" Asked Numer 2.
Vivi did not waste time answering.
"Yes, it was quick and painless!." She lied through her teeth without hesitation.
"I have the feeling that there's more to it. " Nami gave Vivi an intense glare.
"So…is that way then?" Vivi pointed at the hole in the wall that Bon Clay had come out from. Wanting to change the subject of conversation away from that event.
"Ohh yes." Said Morley with excitement. "I ate the push-push fruit that allows me to mold the ground as if it was mere clay. That's how I created this hideout in the past. It is between levels 5 and 6."
They all follow the giant through a dark tunnel. Eventually, they reached a dead end.
"It just needs one last push, I can feel it!" Said the giant.
"Ace, we are almost there!" Said Luffy with expectation
Vivi still could not feel any signature even though she there that on the other side were people. This proved to her that they must have done something to the walls of the prison to block her senses.
"There we go….push!"
The giant pushed against the wall and this one bent like soft clay, allowing Morley to pass through.
"Let's go!" Luffy was the first one to go through the hole, followed quickly by the rest of the crew, Buggy, Bon Clay, and Inazuma.
The 6th level of the prison was just one big hallway with poor lighting a very few cells.
"Which way?" Luffy asked.
Vivi felt four very strong signatures on the left and one weak one. And on the far right were a lot of weaker one's that we were slowly approaching.
"Left!, there are five people," She said with no hesitation. Hoping that one of those four signatures was Ace.
The first occupied cell they came across had a gigantic man with long blonde hair.
Vivi recognize him by couldn't say anything.
"That's Douglass Bullet, better leave him alone…He is a very dangerous individual" Inazuma said.
They then came across Shiryu and Catarina Devon. The two were supposed to become members of the Blackbeard pirates but Vivi wasn't sure if that was going to still happen since things are taking a different course now.
Neither Douglass nor Shiryu said a word to them, just an angry look, but Catarina begged them to set her free.
An idea that was quickly discarded after Inazuma told them about her hobby of collecting beautiful women's heads as trophies.
The second to last cell contained a broken man.
'This is the weak aura I felt before…who is…'
Her thoughts stopped as she recognize the man inside the cell.
The broken man had long red hair and was missing his left arm.
"That's Eustass Kid…" Said Inazuma.
"He was captured two years ago. We came here to invite him to our group. He refused to leave without his crew…"
Luffy gave Kid a look of admiration.
"Do you know where they are?. Maybe we c-"
"Dead…" Inazuma interrupted him.
"Most of them were put at level 4. Is rare for prisoners to survive for long in there"
A pang of guilt invaded Vivi.
'This is my fault…I tried to save Ace and he was captured instead two years ago…and now his entire crew is dead because of that.'
"Come on, we need to hurry and get your brother before the Marines come in. He hasn't said a word for quite a while anyways." Advised Inazuma.
"Vivi said that there were five. Then..the next one had to be Ace!" Luffy took off running to the next cell.
But Luffy had forgotten about the fact that the Marines captured someone else along with Ace.
"Ace!, we came to-...what?!" Luffy shouted as he saw that the last inmate was not his brother, instead it was a tall man with spiky blond hair.
"You are not Ace, who are you?" He demanded to know.
