Peak Island

There are 3 types of log pose, 1st is a regular log pose with 1 needle that requires you to stay on an island to record its magnetic waves. 2nd is the pose with 3 needles that are used in the new world and work the same way as the first pose. 3rd is an eternal pose that always points to one specific island.

The pose that kei currently using is an eternal pose headed to an island called Peak Island.

Usually, there are regular poses that would be sold at Logue Town but for some reason. During the past month of Kei's stay at Logue town, the marine has completely blocked off the sale of log pose thus resulting in kei needing to buy one from a shady person.

He was reluctant at first but the sale of log pose doesn't seem to be available anytime soon or at least until the reason for them not being available in the market got settled.

Which is actually until the criminal with a 150 million beli in the east blue got captured. Yes, the marines have blocked off the sale of the pose because of kei.

He got the info after Jordi blurred out some stuff when she was drunk. She even told him that her reason for being in east blue was actually to capture kei the criminal. He was shocked when he find out and kinda feel guilty as well because Jordi have developed a deep trust towards him...

He finds out that the marines see him as a big threat potential that they can't turn a blind eye on. Not only that, he is also wanted by the grace family. A family of merchants that have a deep connection with the celestial dragons and world government.

The grace family was also the reason he managed to enter Sengoku's eye. It is without a doubt that they also secretly sent someone to hunt him just like the marines...

The grand line is a huge place with a better environment for someone to grow stronger due to the challenges they will face there.

It seems that the marines want to prevent someone like kei to enter the grand line by any means because they don't want him to grow any stronger than he already is...

It took around 4 days until kei arrived in front of the Peak Island. He was going at full speed and with storm and such have no effect on his wind dome. The journey was extremely smooth and relaxing for him

Peak Island is a jungle theme island that has a huge and tall mountain as its center. Kei's expression brightens after seeing a harbor that has some fisherman boat docks around it.

The eternal pose he got from the alley guy was said to be a log pose that belong to his grandfather who is a former explorer.

The alley guy told kei that his grandfather regretted coming back and would have stayed at the island if not for the fact that he was married and still care for his wife at the time.

Kei was also curious about what this island has to offer as it manage to make an explorer regret leaving it.

As his boat comes closer and closer, A small crowd starts to form on the island harbor.

"wait a minute! Those men are humans but aren't those woman elves!?"

Currently, kei is in his normal human form with the height of around 179cm. He is wearing his mask that only covers the top part of his face while wearing his regular cloth instead of his bounty hunter cloth.

As soon as his boat stop at the harbor, he was greeted with blades and trident aiming for his neck.

He usually would just knock the people unconscious if it was a normal situation but the people who threaten him currently are a few injured men and some women that look like those dark elves from fantasy stories.

All of them wear cloth similar to those native American tribe clothes so it was pretty obvious that some of them have wounds and such as well.

It then leaves him with no choice but to raise both of his hands as a sign of surrendering while also giving a gentle smile hoping that they will understand that he is not a threat to them.

" Name? and what is your reason for coming to this island?" A hunched-back old man said to him. base on his demeanor, it was obvious that the old men is probably the chief of this place

" I go by the name Mammon, a bounty hunter that has just come to the grand line from east blue. As for the reason, it's because of this eternal pose. It belongs to my great grandfather who was said to be an explorer in his younger days.

This eternal pose is one of his treasured items and listening to his adventure story from my parents. It got me curious since I was young so I decided that if I ever go to the grand line then I will absolutely visit this place that my great grandfather cherish so much."

" Hmm, I see. lower your weapons. He's safe, Only the people who decided to return are given eternal pose so his story is probably true. Come kid follow me" The old man said

The people then retracted back their weapons from Kei's neck and start apologizing while also making way for him to follow the old man

He then just continue to follow the hunched-back old man until they arrive at a slightly bigger house than the rest of the houses nearby.

"Come in and make yourself comfy, It's almost dinner time so ill tell my granddaughter to prepare an extra meal first so wait for a bit"

Sitting down on a mat, as the house is actually old fashioned and only have a tatami mat at best as a sitting place. He waited until the old men come back from the back a few minutes later.

The old men then sit down across kei and look at him. with a sigh, he then start talking

"This peak island is actually the home island of the black pointy ear race. Black pointy ear race is similar to the human race but one thing in particular about them is that they can only give birth to females.

A lot of humans have somehow ended up here, Usually because of an accident when sailing the ocean and such.

Some men will fall for the girls here and stay just like me. while girls and some men that already have a family will return back to their home after they recovered.

Some people who ask for it will be given the eternal pose to this place and they usually come back and repay the favor to the females of this island.

Your great grandfather is from east blue right? he probably wants to come back either to meet with a lover from here or just to repay the debt he has to this tribe. the journey to here from east blue is dangerous after all so it's understandable if he can't come here again.

To think that someone's grandchildren would come to this island just because he was curious about it from stories

*Sigh

I appreciate you coming all this way. but unfortunately, right now we are in a predicament. A pirate crew called the brown bear pirates have come here and want to capture the females of this tribe.

The black pointy ear race is a born hunter, they have the ability to attack with a bow from miles away and would still be able to hit their target. Some stronger one like my deceased wife could even see the future for around 3 seconds she said.

And not only that, all of them are born as a natural beauty so the brown bear pirates want to capture them as slaves. They are the perfect target after all as they could be a bodyguard and as well a sexual slave that could breed more beautiful slaves.

I recommend you to stay for the night and leave tomorrow. It is unknown when they will attack again but you are not part of this so you better run away quickly.

There's an extra room upstairs, You can sleep there for tonight "

As soon as the chief finish talking, his granddaughter who was probably around 14 come and serve the meal.

Kei starts asking questions about the island as they eat and the chief answers them...

That night,

In his room, he thought about a few stuff.

"This island feels like a rip-off of Amazon Lilly. Well, it actually might not be a rip-off but it sure is similar. Both can only give birth to females and one island is proficient in armament haki while the other is proficient in observation haki.

Anyway, the woman on this island is truly beautiful and really looks like dark elves. If those dark elf-loving freaks from earth were to come here I bet they would feel like that they're in heaven.

[A/N: Freaks like that exist. trust me]

Hmmm, maybe I should help the people here and ask them to teach me observation haki in return.

Well, that sounds like a plan alright and I might be able to mingle with some of those pretty ladies hehe.

I'm confident in my strength now after the training I did. I can also use those techniques I made in real battles as well.

But it be stupid if I don't investigate what sort of capabilities my opponent have. If they are too strong then I might need to retreat but if they are not that strong and seems doable I guess it's a go.

I'll talk to the chief tomorrow about it and ask for some information as well about the brown bear pirates.

Sailing in the ocean is really tiring, The journey that happens in the blink of an eye in the anime is really not the same as the real deal... "

Kei falls asleep peacefully while some women are actually observing him from the trees nearby. He already senses them but he can already tell that they are just going to observe him to make sure that he really is not a threat.

The night was peaceful and kei felt extremely refreshed after waking up. Cleaning and tidying himself up. He then go and met up with the chief.

With a friendly smile he then said "Village Chief, I have a proposal..."
