Victor POV:

"I like the helpless and angry look on your face! But there's nothing you can do about it, can you? Love and emotions make a man weak!" The Old man mocked smugly. "I'm standing right in front of you, kill me if you can but you won't be able to save your lover."

"What do I have to do?" Victor asked.

"Let me take over, you don't have to do anything." He slowly walked towards Victor and placed his hand on his head. A dark demonic energy poured into his body as he gritted his teeth in pain.

"If you truly love her then you should be able to sacrifice your life for her Victor. Once I take over your body, I'll fully unlock my sealed powers and you will become a true powerhouse. Trust me!!"

Kusanagi who was expecting it to end quickly suddenly discovered that his powers were not working as intended. He was not able to take control of Victor's body as if there was a complex web blocking his path from controlling Victor's mind.

"Brilliant! I am amazed that you are still resisting Victor. I told you before that your petty resistance is futile in front of me. I deem you worthy to be my vassal, submit to my power and you will be able to rule the world. You will gain the strength that you so much desire. This world is only ruled by the strong and heartless, everything else is meaningless." The demonic voice whispered into his ears causing him to be stunned and speechless, using this opening the demon tried to stab the sword into Victor's heart for increased effect. But instead of dying it turned into a puff of smoke and vanished.

"Sneaky bastard! It's not your main body, is it? Let's see how long can you run," The demonic figure roared with evil laughter. "I still have your lover under my grasp, if you keep playing tricks like this then I have to show you my true colours Boy!!"

Victor who was observing everything from a distance had sent a clone to test the situation. Of course, he wouldn't rush in head first into a battle without a plan. While he was conversing with Kusanagi, he kept an eye on Robin when he suddenly noticed an injury appearing on her arm. It slowly transformed into a message, [Kill him, 10 mins]. A sense of urgency and foreboding rose within him along with a bit of relief, 'She might be in danger, I have to hurry.'

"Kusanagi, let me teach you why you shouldn't play with fire." Victor's cold voice was heard as he appeared behind the demonic figure in his Lunarian form. His pair of black wings was at full display and a plume of fire appeared behind his back. His wristwatch was on a countdown, [9:59].

"You alone cannot defeat me, even if you resist it is meaningless. Because I am your darkest desires, I am you!! Embrace your desires, submit to my power, and bow down to me!!"

Kusanagi manifested into his true form, a blood-red sword wielded by a grotesque demonic serpent hybrid as the souls of the dead wailed in anguish and fear. The bloody battlefield turned into a nightmarish hell as the demonic monsters manifested out of thin air and rushed toward Victor with deathly cries.

"Your biggest mistake was thinking that I am alone. You cannot shatter my will with underhanded tricks and repeating empty promises like a broken record. So try harder before I turn you into cinders." Victor shouted with anger and defiance as he created 8 more clones of himself. He wasn't going to die to some no-name ghost, not after he too got another chance at a happier life. At that moment he realized what his true dreams were, and with that came conviction to protect his dreams.

At this moment he remembered the words of his true mentor and best friend. His mother said to him before her accidental death, "Varun, true strength in knowing your convictions and living by them without any self-doubt. If you ever fall in love, you should also learn to fight for it. You are my son, and I believe I have raised you right."

At that instance, a dormant force surged within him like a tidal wave, it awakened full of murderous intent that swept through the battlefield. For a moment everything grew calm before countless undead fell on its tracks and the cursed domain where Robin was fighting Itzel shook as if it was made of glass and cracks began to appear. Kusanagi felt a chill run down his spine, for the second time in his life, he felt fear and a feeling of suppression as if he was facing a murderous predator.

"T...this...Conqurer's Haki!! You're just like Princess Izel!!" Kusanagi was shocked but his shock didn't end there. Along with the suppression of will, he also felt pain both internal and external pain. When he peered inside he discovered Robin was also fighting Itzel. He immediately had to take control of two sides further decreasing his overall strength.

He was currently weakened in his own domain and his previous vessel had betrayed him when he was in a critical situation. Even though the curse will turn him into a mindless monster if hurt, it'll also cause him pain while facing strong opponents.

Robin using armament haki and her devil fruit powers didn't hold back. Her training with Victor has already increased her strength to vice admiral level in strength as she fought the twenty-foot feathered serpent in Kusanagi's Domain. Meanwhile, Itzel used his last bit of sanity to try and hold back the curse while giving her some openings to exploit.

"Damn, that scoundrel Itzel, you betrayed me after all I did for you...If you ants want to kill me then I'll show you what's true fear." Kusanagi, realizing the tide was turning, lashed out with desperate fury. The demonic figure transformed into a full monstrous manifestation as it summoned all its strength in a final, desperate attempt to overwhelm its adversaries.

Victor, sensing the urgency, tapped into the newfound strength within him. His wings expanded, engulfed in flames as he soared above the battlefield. With a powerful burst of energy, Victor channeled his Lunarian abilities into a devastating attack along with his clones in synchronization.

[Guardian Fire Dragon Emperor] Victor coated his body in his fire while soaring into the sky, flying a circle while high up to create a massive whirl of fire, then shooting off from its center a massive fire beam that split apart into twelve massive fire dragons aimed towards Kusanagi. All his clones fought back valiantly without worrying about life or death. Every one of them had 65% of Victor's original strength and Lunarian Physique giving him a proper fighting chance. They also threw explosive grenades from a distance and used cloning powers to full utility as the explosives suddenly split into many midair providing additional damage.

The latter fought back with his swordsmanship and hybrid zoan form but as the battle went on he realized, Itzel was also going to be defeated inside the demonic realm. Robin had conjured thousands of arms and assimilated them into giant hands which were laced with Armament Haki causing immense damage. Kusanagi didn't have any more vessels to transfer his consciousness so he would also be wiped out of existence if Itzel died.

[Guardian Fire Dragon Emperor] Victor spammed his ultimate attacks despite all his pain as he pushed himself to his limits. Finding an opening one of his clones snatched the cursed blade from the demon and mercilessly stabbed it with his own blade before dissipating into smoke.

The demonic being howled in agony as the intense blue flames finally consumed its form, slowly disintegrating it into ashes. The undead minions crumbled, and the cracks in the domain spread further until the entire world inside shattered.

Meanwhile in the domain:

Robin was severely injured with multiple fractures in her arms but still alive after her battle with mid-controlled Itzel, their battle had caused huge destruction to the area but Robin was finally able to defeat Itzel after an arduous battle. The former was not fighting at full strength and also preventing Kusanagi from taking over completely.

"Do it now!! Kill me, Miss Robin!!" The feathered serpent transformed back into human form and pleaded with agony. "I can feel the curse weakening."

"Take rest Prince Itzel," She answered as she clenched her fists with armament haki and stabbed him in his chest before crushing his heart.

"T..than..k yo.." He died with a small painful smile. A thick black smoke appeared on his body with a humanoid face as it roared with painful roars and sorrow before dissipating into thousands of souls who were trapped in the curse. Near the altar, Victor watched as the demonic being transformed into a burning corpse and thousands of wailing souls dissipated into the air with laughter after they got newfound freedom from the dark nightmarish realm. Every day they had to constantly relive their worst nightmares for 200 years.

Victor has also suffered grievous injuries with multiple bloody sword wounds and painful corrosive burns on his face and body. He limply walked towards the crucifix and rescued Robin who was still unconscious. He could feel that her condition was also not right as she also had multiple fractures in her arms and ribs.
