Chapter 96: Every bubble Has An Ending I

...........

The way the water orb worked spoke of the grace of nature, and Yovan did the same creating a ball of vibrations and he let it go, allowing it to float higher and higher... It was the Tale Of A Bubble.

The bubble floated higher and higher, easily breaching any barrier before it. The bubbles surrounding the Fish-Man Island easily allowed it to pass and all the water did was gently brush against it.

It was allowed to rise through the deep sea, the darkness of the deep to seek light. Even the monstrous creatures of the deep avoided it, and those who couldn't sense it had to suffer the brunt of it.

But it didn't explode, it simply went through as it crackled a bit, cracks spreading around it before becoming stable again.

It was slow, but the bubble had to reach light eventually. It saw light, perhaps a sign of the surface.

The light was bright, but it wasn't the light of the sun. No, it was the light emanating from the Sunlight Trees Eve.

It turned out that the bubble was nowhere near the surface. It was actually very far away from it.

The top of the sunlight trees eve was nothing but a colossal luminous sphere, so bright it made the area around it very warm, thus the richness of sea life around it.

There were indeed many creatures around it, but most stayed out of the bubble's way, and those that didn't aren't alive anymore, so the bubble continued to float.

However, it soon became apparent that the sunlight trees eve didn't stop growing because they reached optimal growth, but because of the rocky infrastructure far above the Island, stopping them from growing further.

There is a giant hole that goes under the Red Line at the bottom of a deep trench, and that is where the Fish-Man Island resides.

The reality of the matter is that the bubble reached the end of the hole, the highest point possible before the bubble had to settle under the rocks.

Moreover, the Red Line is made of reddish minerals, and it's also said to be indestructible... It was indestructible, so perhaps that was the end of the tale, just perhaps.

Yovan didn't pay much attention to the bubble. Most of his focus was on the Fish-Man and their Karate. It was quite the interesting Martial Art, especially their leader's manipulation of water.

What was even more interesting was the pills they took that strengthened them significantly. Even Vander didn't hear about them, making Yovan believe that the Fishmen before him are quite special.

He especially focused on their leader, the only one capable of manipulating water, the grey Fishman.

So the sound of slaps reverberated throughout what remained of the Dojo as Yovan said, "Hey!! Wake up! Are you okay!?"

But the grey Fishman couldn't wake up, not even with the immense slaps of Yovan, so the latter searched all the fishmen for the pills.

"Let me have a look," Kalifa asked, eyeing the pills.

"Oh? You know about this stuff?" Yovan arched his brow.

"No, but the previous months I spent learning from Kureha. I thought my Devil Fruit would benefit from learning about medical stuff, so I asked Bege, and he guided me to her." Kalifa explained.

Yovan threw her a few pills without much doubt and eyed her as she created a soap bubble around the pills, her hand moving around it slowly... Until the pills dissolved into nothingness.

"I may need a lot more to know exactly how they're made, but I can be sure that they have dangerous side effects... They feel too violent." Kalifa noted.

"Hmm, I want to construct a production line for them... They could be quite useful," A bright smile emerged on Yovan's face as he eyed the grey Fishman, "And you'll be coming with me."

They then left the premises of the Dojo, leaving numerous unconscious or even dead bodies behind, and no one else stopped them.

In fact, Yovan noted that the town was completely silent. The sound of chaos sent all back to their homes. They hid because they didn't want any trouble.

They just hid in fear as the sound of a loud thud reverberated throughout, a colossal white panther with golden antlers landed before Yovan, "Antarisa?"

Yovan wondered why she was here, and his doubts were solved once she spat out a body, a Fishman adorned in strange purple clothing.

"Did he try to breach Seizon No Hono?" Yovan asked. Antarisa was left on the ship, sleeping there, so that was the only possible conclusion unless she took the liberty of walking about.

And indeed, Antarisa nodded as if she understood him before wining and brushing her head against him, drawing a smile out of Yovan, "Alright alright, go have some fun, just don't destroy... Too much stuff, okay?"

"Perhaps they're too busy at the moment, but they'll seek us eventually... The whitebeard pirates." Kalifa predicted. Only a few hours passed, yet Yovan already broke his promise. Honestly, what they did expect?

"Oh... I kinda forgot about that... It was self defense, right?" Yovan wondered before turning it into reality, "Of course, it was self defense, so there shouldn't be any problem."

He carried the bodies of the grey Fishman and the purple-clothed Fishman back to the Ship, finding Kaku to be sparing with Vista, the latter eyeing him with a frown as soon as he arrived.

"Don't worry about me, just enjoy yourself!" Yovan said with a genuine smile, hoping Vista would ignore the two unconscious Fishmen in his hands and just enjoy himself.

"What happened?" It took a moment before Vista found himself standing before Yovan, asking with a frown. Even he was speechless with how quickly Yovan found himself some trouble.

"Ehh, it was self defense!" Yovan honestly answered.

"Is it?" Vista shared his doubts.

"Is it not?" Yovan wondered.

"Huh?"

Vista's confusion was interrupted by Jozu falling from the sky only to land before Yovan. He was also carrying a body, a conscious body of Laffitte, "Cap, I kinda made an oopsie! Tehehe!"

"Yahahahahaha," Yovan couldn't help but burst out laughing as he eyed Laffitte's beaten up state, "It's okay, I'm sure it was self defense, no?"

"No, He was trying to destroy the bubble." Jozu stated with a cold tone, and added as he threw Laffitte towards him, "Leave this place and never come back."

Yovan scratched his head in confusion as he asked Laffitte, "But why?"

"Umm, every bubble has an ending?" Laffitte's excuse was immaculate to the point that it even confused him.

"Umm, I don't think that was the right thing to say?" Yovan stated as he eyed the way Vista and Jozu were eyeing him, and all Kalifa could do was facepalm.

"Yeah, let's leave," Kalifa advised.

"Antarisa!!!! Sorry dear, but we have to go!!!" Kalifa had to close her ears while the others' faces couldn't help but twitch, feeling their brains jerking at how loud his voice was to the point that it was heard throughout the Island.

Hell, Vista and Jozu could even see cracks somehow forming due to his voice, and how loud it was must've been related to the cracks.

The Strangers jumped onto the ship, and soon, Antarisa joined them just as a bunch of feathers started forming into wings around the ship.

Seizon No Hono's new wings started to flap, and its figurehead, the crow's head seemingly came to life as it started flying away.

"Wait... They took the Fishmen with them." Vista facepalmed. He was so caught up with the fact that Laffitte was actually trying to basically destroy the Fish-Man Island that he allowed them to take away the Fishmen.

"Who were they?" Jozu asked.

"I don't know." Vista shook his head before turning around and starting to walk away, "Thankfully, Pops saw something like this happening. The Island would've been destroyed otherwise."

"I will ask around about who they took." Jozu nodded before leaping towards the nearest town.

And soon it became apparent who the two Fishmen were. The leader was named Hody Jones, a great white shark fish-man, allegedly the captain of the New Fish-Man Pirates, and a former soldier of the Neptune Army.

The other was called Zeo, a Japanese wobbegong fish-man and the self-proclaimed Noble of the Fish-Man District.

Yovan was also informed of their identities after they told him themselves with a little bit of convincing or whispering from Laffitte, and he also learned something else.

So while Seizon No Hono did leave the Island, Yovan didn't. Instead, a crow found itself in a specific building tracing his eyes throughout the facility.

It was a production facility, and you're right if you presume it to produce the pills, called Energy Steroids, a special pill that the Hody Jones stole.

They were considered to be legendary and a national treasure of the Ryugu kingdom before they were stolen, and now, Yovan got his hands on them, all the pills produced so far... The recipe as well.
