2 Days after the fight with Shiki

The headquarters of the navy is often busy, but rarely has it been as bad as it was now. Almost every marine was running to somewhere, carrying a pile of documents. In every room and office some higher ranking officers were either giving commands through a den den mushi or simply shouting them into the room.
Ships were leaving and arriving at the harbor almost all the time, every one with a clear purpose.
In the fleet admiral's office Sengoku was reading the latest report that just came in.
"It's been confirmed. The islands, the pirates and the strange beasts… they were all Shiki's doing."
Finishing reading the report he spoke with a solemn expression. Garp was sitting on the couch, listening to his words. He was clearly waiting for Sengoku to continue.
"Shiki himself has yet to be sighted. Judging by the statement of the captured pirates, the many unfinished or failed experiments we found and the sudden chaos on both, the East Blue and the islands that fell, it is most likely that he was defeated by someone."

For a short moment silence descended into the office before Sengoku continued speaking.
"We both know that there aren't or at least there shouldn't be any people in the East Blue that could beat Shiki… so do you think it was him?"
"… He is still just a child. Do you really think it's possible?"
"After everything you've told me I'm not sure what to believe when it comes to him. So your answer is?"
"I have watched his progress the longest but even if Shiki didn't heal completely and was still unable to use haki, it's hard to believe that Jackson could defeat him…"
"…So it's not impossible. *Sigh* can you guess how I feel right now?"
Sengoku pinched the his nose and asked Garp with an annoyed look.
*Munch*Crunch*Crunch*
"Dunno. Hungry perhaps?"
"…"
*Bam*
"Goddamnit Garp!! Can't you be serious for even 5 minutes straight?! Where did you even get the rice crackers from?!"
"Ehh? But I feel like it's been longer than 5 minutes! Besides this are just our speculations! What part of it will get solved by us sitting hear all 'seriously' and 'solemnly'?"
A vein on Sengoku's forehead suddenly burst after hearing Garp's reply. His body was trembling violently as he was holding back in the hopes to continue the discussion in a serious and civilized manner.
"Don't you know what this all means. Even if Shiki was as weakened as you described, if it was really Jackson who defeated him, then he, your adoptive pirate grandson, might grow to match our admirals before he becomes an adult! And if it wasn't Jackson than that would mean there is a powerhouse of that level, we don't know about! THIS. IS. IMPORTANT!"
Hearing all this Garp stopped eating and laughing and became serious once again. To Sengoku's surprise he looked him deeply in his eyes, as a solemn atmosphere suddenly filled the office.
A very unusually thing to see, so much so that even Sengoku, someone who fought the strongest of pirates multiple times, became slightly nervous.
"Speaking of important things…"
He spoke slowly and with breaks in between to give his words extra weight.
"I've been meaning to ask you this the whole day…"
*Gulp*
"Do you still have some of the good green tea anywhere?"

"No! I'm afraid no one will beat that stupidity out of you if I don't!"

"Wha…?! NO!!! Not my rice crackers!"
Outside Sengoku's office stood vice-admiral tsuru who couldn't help but sigh as she heard the ruckus when she was about to enter.

When Shiki got defeated 2 days ago, the islands that were floating thanks to his powers started falling down into the East Blue. Most fell into the sea but some hit other islands that were under them.
The people called and informed the navy and the navy investigated but because of the pirates and the beasts, they were forced to request aid from the head quarters.
Shortly after the news appeared in the newspaper causing a small uproar. Islands falling from the sky was like a nightmare. Who could defend themselves from that?!
Presently on swallow Island
Jackson POV
It's been two days since the fight and we are currently recovering from our injuries.
After killing scarlet gorilla I had to take them all to the hospital in pleasure town as fast as possible.
Even though I really felt like dying at that moment I couldn't.
After reaching the hospital my bloody appearance frightened the people but lucky for me it didn't take long for a competent person to step up and guide me to the medical emergency hall.
Soon doctors came in and started the treatment. Mine, Sabo's and Kuina's injuries were the worst so our operation lasted mich longer. At least that's what I was told after waking up the next day.
The doctors and nurses were shocked silly when I woke up and started walking around. I searched for Sabo and Kuina but the two of them were in different rooms each.
To my surprise I met Law, who actually checked up on both of them. I even watched when he used his powers to slightly better the operations result.
I didn't know why he was suddenly ok with me seeing that nor did I think too much about it. He would come and talk with me if there's something he want's.
Now on the second day, I felt fine overall. Not completely healed but good enough to stop staying in the hospital.
Why am I hurrying to get out. Because my fight with Shiki showed me that I can still improve in some areas even without my cheat.
While the strength and techniques I received are extremely helpful, I learned the rokushiki on my own and I think it's high time for me to try and develop a fighting style incorporating the rokushiki.
A fighting style that is somewhat unique, combining what I gained so far in an unpredictable way.
Speaking of gains…

That's what I saw after I woke up from the operation. It seems like I finished another secret quest when I killed scarlet gorilla. After installing the progress my current status looked like this:

[synchronization speed: 5% every year]
[speed boost quest: Find Ace, the pirate king's sword, for additional 5%]
With this increase, I also gained the skill of advanced armament haki. The reach of the concept 'internal destruction' isn't that far yet but since I know how to use it I want to go and train it.
Preferably on the sea bed against some giant bad ass sea kings cause it's been a while since I last ate sea king meat and I am sure Sabo and Kuina could use some too.
