80 A good old fist works wonders!

3rd Person POV

Navy HQ

Inside the Fleet-Admiral's office, Sengoku fell in his chair powerlessly after receiving orders from the 5 elders to not provoke Jackson until they have more information about his condition and level of strength.

"...That damn monstrous brat!"

When he read the newspapers this morning, he almost couldn't believe it, despite the pictures showing Jackson walking around looking fine.

Sengoku, wouldn't have acted rashly even without the elder's order, since his last attempt at Jackson's life cost him way too much.

*MUNCH*CRUNCH*MUNCH*

The strangely familiar sound of rice crackers being eaten in his office garnered his attention. As always, once he looked up, Sengoku saw Garp sitting on his couch, loudly eating rice crackers as if nothing happened.

"..."

"*MUNCH*CRUNCH*MUNCH*"

"...Garp?"

"Hm? Not now Sengoku, I am busy. If you aren't offering me your good green tea, don't talk to me."

"..."

The veins in Sengoku's forearms and forehead started to thicken as his blood pressure rose. His glasses reflected the light brilliantly so that his eyes couldn't be seen as he gazed at Garp.

*Chills*

Garp got the chills from the sudden change in atmosphere so he quickly hid his rice crackers behind his back, ready to protect them with his life.

"You know..."

Sengoku started speaking in a deep and cold tone.

"I just remembered the time when you made a proper report for the first time. It was after you came back from the Fishman Island, wasn't it?"

"Hm? ...It's already been years so what about it?"

The Navy's hero asked cautiously.

"I was thinking since seeing you act so casually even after reading the newspapers that it's strange. Normally you are someone who would foolishly make a ruckus but you behave like you always do... as if you already knew that he was alive..."

'Oh shit...'

Even Garp understood that he was caught. 6 years ago he went to the Fishman Island to see whether Jackson and Sabo are there but upon his return he made a false report to hide their traces.

'Since he is bringing this up now it can only mean...!'

"You can't have my rice crackers!!!"

"I DON'T WANT YOU RICE CRACKERS- COUGH!!!"

Some of Sengoku's veins burst from anger since blood started to trickle down his lips after the cough. Garp really thought Sengoku wants to blackmail him into giving his rice crackers.

"I swear you and your family! Dragon, Ace, Jackson! If your biological grandson also-"

"Buahahahahah! Don't worry about Luffy, he will become a great marine just like his grandpa!"

Hearing that, didn't make Sengoku happy at all. Having one Garp around him was already bad for his health so if another appeared it could become lethal.

"Forget it. I want you to go and meet Jackson."

"Huh? Why?"

"Just to see whether he is in good condition or if he perhaps has some injuries remaining and so on. Also if you two spar, do tell me his level of strength."

"If it's just that."

Garp thought about it for a moment before agreeing. Since it was nearby he could reach the Red Risk Island in some hours and meet Jackson again.

Little did Sengoku know at this point that the only thing Garp would say when asked about Jackson's level of strength would be 'You're fucked BAAAD!'.

Jackson POV

Red Risk Island

"Mount Everest ain't got shit on me~

Mount Everest ain't got shit on me~

Cause I'm on top of the world~

I'm on top of the world, yeah~"

I was currently lazying around in the small wooden hut in Red Sea City, the twins left us and singing along one of the songs, saved in Crocus' strange music device.

This morning an interesting article about Ace was released stating that he joined Whitebeard as his division commander.

Kuina actually asked whether I plan to go and have a match with the old man and coincidentally I do plan to do that at some point.

'How great it would be to see his face, once he recognize my fighting style. That would be so epic if he goes completely bonkers with Gurararara! and me then going Wuhahahahaha! as the area around us gets devastated from the simplest of clashes!'

But no need to hurry now. Each one of the 4 of them will get their turn to be beaten. While I was being lazy without doing anything, the others were out there helping the remaining citizen bury the bodies.

This was because I told them that the basic level of respect for life, is to bury the dead no matter what path they had chosen for themselves before. Totally not me being petty for being left out of the fighting the previous night.

A small number of freed people decided to stay for reasons unknown to me, especially since the remaining forces, who weren't on this Island during the attack might come and retake the cities.

One of them actually asked me, whether I could give them my flag, declaring this island my first territory but I rejected this idea for two reasons.

First, having a base this close to the Navy HQ AND World Government sounds like a pain in the ass. Second, I don't like responsibilities.

The only responsibilities unavoidable to me are those I have as a captain and friend but other than those there are none.

I am someone who likes to enjoy all the privileges of power without the responsibility that comes along with that and the easiest way to do so is by not taking and ruling a territory.

A true king among kings is someone who walks into a territory and is being treated as the ruler without actually being the ruler, simply because of his strength.

Receiving the best treatment and respect everywhere without having to manage shit myself sounds like a bliss.

After being lazy for a while longer, it was time to go out and stretch for a bit. The streets still smelled like piss, broken houses could be spotted almost instantly everywhere and children would occasionally peek out of the alleys.

Me simply making my way down to the port, caused the people to scurry from my path.

'What the fuck? Do I look that scary? Nah, can't be the reason.'

After all I was walking with drip seen and copied from hunter drip-woo and the successor of the northern drip sect.

Upon reaching the empty port, that was literally overcrowded just yesterday evening the awful smell finally subsided.

The sight was nothing special anymore, just a lot of unused docks, some shops on the sides and a navy ship in the distance coming closer...

'Hmm? Did they finally send someone?'

To be completely honest, it was strange that neither the Navy nor the World Government sent a fleet to surround and sink this island once they find out, we are here.

But what was even more surprising is a single person jumping from the ship and dashing over using Geppo. I mean what crazy lunatic would go ahead and-

"! Grandpa?!"

Forget what I just said, his actions are just as one would expect from him. As he closed in, his booming voice could be heard all the way till here.

"Jackson you damn brat! Can't you do anything else or are you only good in causing trouble!"

"..."

Like he is one to talk! But since my grandpa is rushing here to see me it would be impolite of me to not greet him.

Grandpa had almost reached me, his fist pitch black clad with haki, while red lightning danced up and down on his.

'I knew he would have conqueror's haki!'

Responding in kind was basic manners one should have so after doing just that and cladding my left fist with armament and conqueror's haki we clashed.

Our fists met but did not touch yet it mattered little.

"Fist of tough love!"

"Fist of tough love!"

The clash made the ground beneath us crumble in seconds while a ferocious shock wave spread out with the speed of sound.

Windows along with their buildings were demolished, the dock for the ships didn't fare any better. The black and red lightning danced through the air while the ground shook and the sea raged.

I could fee that a wide smile, at least the same as his, crept up on my face.

"Brat! You got stronger again!"

"Nah! You just grew old!"

Me putting all my strength in my left fist pushed grandpa back as he was sent flying off into the distance but the stubborn old man came flying back instantly.

"How dare you treat you grandpa so roughly?!"

"Wasn't it you who called it tough love, you shameless old man?!"

"SHA-?! Shameless old man?!"

*lightning sfx*

Another clash happened and then another and another. We kept going until the whole huge port area was reduced to nothing put broken pieces, at least the quarter that wasn't sunken like the rest.

"Damn grandpa look at what you did!"

Looking around and noticing the widespread destruction around me, the first words leaving my mouth were of reprimanding ones, earning me a good old hit to the head.

"Brat stop spouting bullshit and take credit for your own faults!"

"He?! *Sigh* You know what? Forget it! Since you are here lets go somewhere else and have a chat."

"Lead the way."

Like this I lead grandpa into the city where Sabo came rushing shortly after. The marines on the ship that brought Grandpa here were left out on the sea.
