Chapter 6- Shells Town + Ally!

We reached the town pretty quickly, no distractions happened on the sea and Koby's directions were surprisingly accurate. When we docked we turned a few heads, our ship didn't look like a pirate ship, but at the same time, it was pretty advanced, compared to the rickety old Galleons common in the East Blue. I wasn't wearing anything pirate-like either, but I realized that I would need a certain clothing style to be a part of my reputation in the future.

I went to my cabin before exiting the ship and bought some clothes from the system, a black vest with a golden eye which had wings attached to it as a design, some baggy joggers that were cammo black, and a red and black modern haori to go over it. I saw no reason for a hat but realized it would be iconic, so I bought a wide and dark brown cowboy hat and placed it on my head as we left the ship to explore.

The town was nice and warm, and the people were all lively, getting on with their business, but what we noticed was how they ran and hid when marines did their patrol, what was more astonishing was that these marines looked sad and lackluster, it didn't take a genius to guess what was the problem. 

I looked down at the pink-haired boy next to me and smiled at him, "The world isn't as simple as Marines are good and Pirates are bad, Koby san, there are evil marines and evil pirates, but there is good in both, like us!"

Koby looked downtrodden by this and began to cry a little and we brought him into a pub to ease the teen's emotions a bit, Vigaro and I ordered some liquor and meat while we got some juice for the young one. Once we were all fed, a silence landed on the table and I looked at Vigaro who nodded and smiled, so now I had my first mate's confirmation, "Hey, Koby, wanna join our crew, we're good people and we have dreams to crush evil on our way to the top of the world, you can grow to be stronger and a force for good, if you come with us!" 

"Euce-san, this makes me so happy, I was just about to ask, but I was afraid you wouldn't want me because I'm weak!"

"Everyone has the potential for growth Koby, even you, even a random person in this town can be a force for change, and Vigaro and I will help you unlock your true purpose and power." 

"I am in your care, captain!" 

We laughed at Koby's enthusiasm and left the bar after praying for it in full we aimlessly walked around the town, eventually we came across a blacksmith shop which I decided to buy, a shop like this would be useful even for a day, it had the proper tools. I paid the sum for the shop and then decided on a new idea... 

A patron island and Shells town was the best place to start, but the only way to gain a reputation and respect amongst the hearts of these people would be to remove the tyranny that has been holding it back for ages, the Marine Captain, Axe Hand Morgan. 

Koby, Vigaro, and I were walking up the crest of a hill when we were met with a wall around 10 feet in height, a good jump, and Vigaro and I could see over the wall, I threw Koby over the wall first and I heard him screaming as he fell, and Vigaro and I vaulted over the wall, landing feet first in the middle of the grounds, two hundred and fifty marine soldiers, pointing, spears, flintlocks, and swords at us. 

I nodded at Vigaro and we both unleashed conquerors amongst the soldiers and every single person was on the floor, Kobuy being young and weak was also on the floor, and we realized that we may have gone a bit overboard with the haki, I picked up Koby and threw him onto my shoulder before moving forward. 

"AXE HAND MORGAN, COME HERE YOU LITTLE BITCH!" 

The Marine Captain walked out of the turret-like Marine base and his axe shone in the sunlight, it was the shittest quality blade I had ever seen in my life, it reflected the sun like it was a mirror, it was a butter knife. 

I unsheathed Soul Reaper and slashed downwards a haki-embedded air slash pierced through the air and in one swift movement, Axe Hand Morgan's blade was severed from his arm, "Scum like you Morgan, don't deserve to live, so it is my mission, to make sure you die!"

I set Koby in Vigaro's arms and held the blade with two hands, to showcase a move I have been working on, I had realized there was a certain way of breathing that helped me achieve total rhythm with my blade, I call it total concentration breathing, I could even draw on powers from the elements with this breathing, so far, I could use many elements like Water from the vapor in the air, Flames are useful but I need a source, my favorite is the power of the sun. I have made 20 battle-ready forms, this is the fifth...

"Hi no kokkyu, thousand-year slash!"

My blade was moving at speeds incomprehensible to those like Morgan who didn't possess Haki, one thousand slashes happened in just five seconds, and with the last slash, the built-up air slashes flew toward Morgan at the same time, ripping up the ground, and burning the walls of the ground until it collided with the evil captain, cutting his body into a thousand different pieces. 

I went to the Marine base's flag pole and brought down the marine flag to symbolize the base's downfall, by this time the fainted soldiers had awoken and I demanded them for a den den mushi. 

"Pero pero pero, Marineford reception speaking! Who would you like to speak with?"

"This is Bastar D. Euce, I need to talk to Vice Admiral Garp, if you don't connect us, the whole 153rd branch base of the marines will suffer, I have killed the captain already, don't, make me annihilate the 250 soldiers too."

"Please wait sir, don't be hasty-" 

I smiled as I hung up the call...
