...

Blackbeard's eyes flashed with intense fury!

Ever since childhood, aside from the torment he faced as a child, no one had dared to speak to him in such a manner!

Blackbeard seethed with rage!

"You audacious Fucker!" Blackbeard thundered, his voice carrying a weighty authority. "Didn't your family teach you that speaking out of turn on the Grand Line can cost you your life?"

"Speaking out of turn?" Ron asked innocently. "Have I said anything out of line?"

"You're asking for a beating!" Blackbeard sneered as he advanced toward Ron, ready to crush him with his bare hands. "Little brat, you've angered me beyond measure!"

"Blackbeard, I'm curious," Ron said, watching Blackbeard's approach with interest. "Did you not sense Ace's power just now?"

"Ace, huh?" Blackbeard chuckled. "That guy's probably trying to get my attention! But I won't fall for it. Sooner or later, I'll catch him!"

"I see," Ron replied thoughtfully. Despite his previous battles with Ace, even from a considerable distance, Blackbeard should have sensed the commotion. It was odd that he seemed oblivious.

"Don't spout nonsense, kid!" Blackbeard smirked. "Let me see just how strong you really are!"

Ron sighed. "Don't recognize me yet?"

"Huh?" Blackbeard was taken aback, scrutinizing Ron's face more closely. Suddenly, realization dawned on him, and he exclaimed, "So, you're Ron!"

Though he had heard some news while on the run, he hadn't paid much attention to Ron's exploits. But the basics were known: Ron, the up-and-coming pirate captain of the Sword and Rose Pirate Group, accompanied by a group of beautiful women, defeated the renowned previous strongest swordsman Hawkeye Mihawk, and became the world's newest strongest swordsman.

Looking at the girls surrounding Ron, Blackbeard finally understood that the teenager before him was indeed Ron.

Blackbeard chuckled. "I didn't expect you to confront me like this. What's your game? Are you looking to claim my bounty or earn Whitebeard's favor?"

"Neither," Ron shook his head. He looked at Blackbeard intently and said, "I've heard about you. You killed Whitebeard's Fourth Division Commander, Thatch, and stole his Devil Fruit. But that's not my concern. I'm here for the black cloth you used to capture Thatch's Devil Fruit." (T/N: This was not what happened)

"Huh?" Blackbeard's eyes gleamed. "Hahaha! So, you're after the item that prevents a Devil Fruit's power from escaping? Interesting!"

Blackbeard burst into laughter. He found the newcomer pirate before him intriguing. It seemed Ron was quite ambitious.

However, Blackbeard's expression turned dark. "But if you think you can take it from me, you're sorely mistaken!"

Blackbeard's eyes glinted with menace as he glared at Ron. His gaze was as fierce as a malicious beast.

"Stay back!" Kaya trembled, taking a step backward in fear.

"Don't be afraid," Nami gritted her teeth, standing her ground despite feeling uneasy.

"He's such a big bully!" Apis glared at Blackbeard and huffed, "Ron, give him a taste of your strength!"

Vivi furrowed her brow. While she wasn't entirely sure who Blackbeard was, Ron's words reminded her of the traitorous figure from the Whitebeard Pirates, the one who fled after killing the Second Division Commander.

This was no ordinary opponent!

Meanwhile, Mikita was excited. Finally, she saw a formidable opponent in Blackbeard, someone capable of giving Ron a real challenge.

But Wapol felt a twinge of panic. What had he just heard? An item capable of capturing a Devil Fruit's power? Something didn't sit right with him.

Ron observed Blackbeard calmly, hands behind his back. It was clear that Blackbeard held himself in high regard and didn't consider Ron a threat. Otherwise, his only goal would be to capture Ace, then instigate the Summit War, and eventually seize Whitebeard's Devil Fruit.

But Ron wasn't about to let that happen. He didn't want to miss out on the opportunity to participate in such monumental events.

"You dare to challenge me, boy?" Blackbeard seized the moment, attempting to take Ron by surprise. Dark smoke billowed from his hands, hurtling toward Ron. "Hahaha! Let's see if you're all talk!"

Unfazed, Ron extended his right hand and effortlessly crushed the dark mist. "Just come quietly," he said calmly. "And if you can't, just offer me your pathetic life?"

With a loud bang, the black smoke dissipated under Ron's power. Then, with a single bound, Ron closed the distance between them, grabbing Blackbeard by the neck.

"Not good!" Blackbeard gasped, caught off guard by Ron's swift retaliation. He tried to counterattack with Dark Vortex. "You'll pay for this!"

"How tedious," Ron remarked, his grip tightening on Blackbeard's neck. "Now, do you want to live or die?"

"I want to live!" Blackbeard wheezed, struggling to speak. He didn't want to die, no matter what.

"Then hand over the item," Ron said calmly.

"I'll give it to you! Just let me go!" Blackbeard was on the verge of panic. With trembling hands, he retrieved the black cloth from his pocket. "This... This is the black cloth. When wrapped around a Devil Fruit user, it prevents their power from escaping upon death. Instead, the power transfers to whoever else is within the cloth's radius."

"A wise decision," Ron said with a smile, his demeanor icy. He took the black cloth and tossed Blackbeard aside, the force propelling him through several buildings. (T/N: What strength)

Ignoring Blackbeard's fate, Ron turned his attention to Wapol, a peculiar and sinister grin on his face.

"Time to take and consume your fruit, let's go!"
